We had such a great experience at Mor Mors and we'll definitely be back. We were a party of three adults and a toddler and ordered the pepperoni pizza, Margherita pizza, Caesar salad, meatballs, and a bottle of wine to share. Honestly, everything was fantastic. The pepperoni pizza was my favorite. I loved the flavor of the cheese and the tomato sauce, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. My husband is more of a less cheese, more sauce kind of person, so the Margherita pizza was perfect for him. It had great flavor without feeling heavy. The meatballs were absolutely delicious. They were tender, full of flavor, and the tomato sauce was so good that I wished we had more garlic bread just to keep eating it. Easily a 10 out of 10. The Caesar salad was fresh, simple, and paired really well with the pizzas. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The owner and the entire staff were so welcoming. You could tell everyone genuinely enjoyed being there and cared about the experience they were creating. The restaurant was very busy, but they still did their best to accommodate everyone waiting for a table and those picking up takeout. After trying some of Orange County's most highly acclaimed and award-winning pizzerias, I can honestly say Mor Mor deserves to be in that conversation. For me, it actually comes out on top. Food 8.5/10 Solid pizza overall, high quality toppings. We had the forest and the aloha. Both were quite good for what they are and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. It was however overburnt at the crust for our liking. I know some people don't mind that though. Everything else 3/10 The service was kind but quite slow and lacking in that we had to request some things multiple times and when it did come in, it was not quite what we ordered. We asked for a side of olive oil and we received what tasted like some kind of seed or vegetable oil instead.. could have been an honest mistake but just wanted to note that. The ambiance is so-so. Quite cramped and can be very loud with how close the seating is arranged and how it bounced off the tight space. I'd recommend coming at opening if you can as the wait to get a table is 40-60 minutes on the weekend. It will likely take another 10-15 to take your order and then another 30-40 to receive it in our experience with a full house. I'd recommend taking out here only and reheating in your oven if possible because the pizza is legitimately tasty. But I don't think we'll be dining in again for some time. read more

I could not be more excited about the opening of Mor Mor's in Laguna Beach! I post dining recommendations around Laguna Beach on Instagram and TikTok so I was invited in for their opening to try a handful of dishes and it was one of the best dinners I've had in a long time! We started with both salads, & the honey harissa carrots and ordered the forest and mozz pizza. Both salads were so delicious and crisp! You can truly tell that they use fresh locally sourced ingredients and they had the salad to dressing ratio perfected! I can already tell these carrots are going to be one of their most viral dishes because they were absolutely to die for!!! they were cooked to perfection and the combination of the Jatik sauce & dukka topping was an explosion of flavor in the best way!!!! Onto the pizzas, we both loved the forest so much but then we got to the mozz and our jaws were on the floor - this has to be one of the best cheese pizzas I have ever had! The crust was thin and the flavors were incredible! It tasted like a slice you can only get on the East Coast! After researching their dough and fermentation process, it makes sense that it taste as amazing as it does! As if the evening could not get better, we were given a chocolate chip toffee cookie straight out of the oven after our meal which was amazing The service was great- all of the servers that took care of us were kind, attentive, and helpful. They made sure our water glasses were always filled. The ambience is beautiful here and there is so much attention to detail with how they decorated! This location paired with the new Forest Avenue renovations is sure to make it a new Laguna staple! I am wishing the Mor Mor's team all of the success they deserve! check them out! read more

I came across Mor Mors on social media and it had been in the back of my mind, so when my boyfriend suggested we go out to dinner on a Tuesday night, this was my chance to check this place out. Right away when we walked it, we loved the vibes (reminded us a lot of restaurants in Seattle - cozy and quaint). We got seated right away as it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday evening. I ordered the Mexican coke and my boyfriend ordered the offshoot beer. It did take awhile to get our drinks but we figured the Resturant was new and they were getting their footing. As for pizza, we ordered the pepp and the chickie. The pepp was okay, nothing amazing but it was good. The start of the show and the one we will return for was the chickie! The pesto, chicken and artichoke together was perfect! The flavor of the pizza was incredible - we loved it!!!!! It also took awhile to get our pizzas but again we understand they just opened and it was worth it at the end. We plan to come back for the chickie and the aloha also caught our eye for next time. This restaurant used to be Slice and I honestly really loved and will miss Slice. Please note this restaurant does not have a restroom and you have to go outside and around a corner. We were seated quickly since it was not busy at all. We sat for about ten minutes before water came to the table which wasn't a huge deal but no one ever came back to refill our glasses. The restaurant seems like it's not her how it wants to operate since they make you go to the counter to order but they take your drink order and do water service to your table. We had a pesto chicken sandwich that I thought was delicious. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a vegetable sandwich as well as the roasted. Chicken. Popped in to grab a pizza for lunch, they currently only do slices for lunch (whole pizzas at 4pm onward) while they're in their soft opening. They still do slices, we grabbed some pepperoni and they were delicious! The crust is to die for and there's lots of toppings/generous cheese. As a local, we will be back for sure! Really great pizza, loved the variety of flavors and options! We walked in for dinner after checking out the local shops, and the ambiance was so bright and refreshing! Connor at the front was a huge help in discussing our options, and made us feel welcome. Service was kind and welcoming, and quick too! We got our food very quickly. The unique flavors were well crafted and had good harmony. I got the Aloha, which balanced spicy and sweet on top of the savory backbone of the bacon. Our favorite place to eat in Laguna! Salad is so refreshing and tasty! The sabzi pizza is a must try! My friend recommended it and it did not disappoint! Not sure how they came up with these recipes and creative pizzas, they must have a great chef and good taste. The cheese pizza with its yummy dough the kids had was just as great! The pizza and salad at this place is amazing. They recently remodeled and changed the menu. I was a huge fan before and now I am an even bigger fan. This adorable little spot in Laguna Beach just opened up recently and my family and I were lucky enough to wander in. The ambiance is cute and casual, it's very clean inside and the food is phenomenal. Check out "The Sabzi" for a truly unique pizza that might be one of my favorite things to ever try on a whim. The Caesar Salad and Honey & Harrisa Roasted Carrots are other standouts. The food came out quick and was delicious all around! Can't wait to come back and try other stuff on the menu. We came for the pizza, because this place used to be our favorite Neapolitan pizza place in OC, called Slice. Now Mor Mors. They were bought by new owners and ran it with the original pizza recipe. But now they officially rebranded, and sadly changed the pizza dough and sauce recipe dramatically. Our margarita pizzas were crafted excellently, but they just didn't taste as good. The dough was more wheaty tasting less yeasty, and the sauce more plain, less tangy and sweet. It may not be fair to compare but they served the original and decided to reinvent. Bummer. Plus they removed the pay by ounce wall of beer and cider, I loved trying different things, that is sadly gone. I like the new bright decor, but it's not my favorite any more. Our office ordered Mor Mor's pizzas and Caesar salad for our World Cup work lunch last week and it was delicious! The Aloha is soooo good, with a smokey sausage and ham that is elevated, this pizza is special, I can taste the quality sourced ingredients with each bite. Also, the Farm pizza was new, veggie with just enough pesto sauce to create a perfect bite of toppings on a crispy delicious crust. Salad is super fresh, full leaves that are nicely dressed it but not overdone and lots of little crispy crouton crumbs make it a unique and tasty salad I'm going to try to recreate at home. read more
