Had not been to this location in many years when it was called "Joe's", and not sure how many owners ago it was but a slice back then was .25 and the lunch special was two slices and a soda for .50. A bunch of us were visiting the ol' hood and decided to grab a slice or two and general consensus was, the pizza was pretty darn good! That's all we ordered so nothing else to say regarding the rest of the menu but I will say, if we're in the hood again sometime soon, we'll stop in for a slice or two! read more

If you want to order through phone unfortunately you can't since they don't do delivery anymore as of now but you can still place an order for takeout. This place was my go to spot for ordering pizza before they stopped doing delivery. The pizza is good and so is their chicken rolls. If I was able to give them no star I totally would. They changed owners and new people do not know how to make pizza at all. We just ordered half plane half margarita and it was the worst pizza we ever had. Dough was nasty and not ready, margarita was the weirdest version I have ever seen. This is my go-to for delivery pizza, but I have to praise them in particular for my most recent order. I had ordered a 10" meatball pizza, which got very mangled in transit. It was still totally edible, so even though the delivery driver offered to get a fresh pie made, I didn't need it (the pizza tasted perfectly fine). I ate the pizza, my husband ate his pasta, and we thought that was that. A little while later, we heard the doorbell ring, and it was the driver with a freshly-made pie! Totally unnecessary, but great customer service. I also have to commend them for always following dietary restriction requests, which I can confidently say few pizzerias in this area do. After eating pizza in Queens for more years than I care to count I've come to some conclusions. Simple pizza is the best. All those toppings just get in the way. Crust, sauce, cheese (maybe basil) and that's it. Brick oven is delicious and produces a brilliantly flavored, charred crust. However, this does not discount pizza oven pizza. Pizza and pasta city on 108th street (formerly Joe's pizza-many years ago now lol) has authentic, New York tasting pizza. Sometimes the crust could be more well done but otherwise totally solid flavor. This is a typical pizza place nothing fancy going on but the pizza is exactly what it should be. read more

I ordered delivery again--pizza this time. They carry it in an insulated pizza bag. It took about an hour, which matched the estimate. They have decent options for customizing your pizza. Not the most detailed I've seen, but better than average. Then again, the average is dragged down by a surprisingly large number of restaurants that don't even tell you how large their pizzas are, but that's another topic. Although it was not amazing pizza, it did hit the spot because the cheese really did taste like cheese. It was stringy, chewy and taste just like real cheese. 42 years of day after Thanksgiving football and then a visit to our High School neighborhood pizza place. The football was exhilarating and wonderful; great to play and catch up with old friends. The pizza place, on the other hand, is not nearly as good as it was. And more sad is that the people who run it are either completely scattered or they are far from literate. Ordered delivery. Ziti with meatballs and sausage and peppers hero. Food arrived on time and hot. Not warm but hot ! Excellent. The hero was DELICIOUS and i had requested mozzarella cheese. Very well prepared sausage and pepers,bread was fresh and crispy without being crunchy. Also cheesy delightfully cheesy. .Really great hero. Food: Not good (see provided photo and I'll rest my case or continue reading). Doughy, under cooked pizza. Absolutely no crunch what so ever. Roll that sucker up and eat it like a pancake or something. Cheese was watery, how the hell did that happen? My husband is a big fan -- he absolutely loves the Penne alla Vodka slice and the cheese pizza. The garlic knots are not always consistent when it comes to taste or amount of oil/butter. If you're lucky, you'll be able to taste the garlic knots that are perfectly cooked with little oil/butter. PPC is a good value for lunch, dinner or a late night meal. We're fans of PPC! read more

Do not go there. After eating there I had a bad stomach.... feeling nauseous and crapping a lot. It's been 5 hours and I hadn't found relief yet. There was an inspection lady there. They removed the A grade but I never stayed long enough to find out their result. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a C.
