A sloppy pathetically over topped pizza
    Brandon B.

I'll give the good first, then the bad. The cheese sticks are very very good. The pizza is good, I really liked the odd pizza with nuts, the Genovese, it was nice. The carne caliente. It didn't taste like spicy garlic sauce, also it had some much of everything in it you could not pick any slices up. All the toppings and cheese was lumped in the middle and was slid off the pizza. The other pizza I would say also had too much of everything on it. This is not how you make pizza, don't over crowd it. The hamburger on the carne has that cheap, bad, hot pocket taste to it. That's was the only thing I didn't like, that particular meat. The phone girl taking my order... Bless her heart, she needs training, I had to hold her hand through the whole thing. Also they forgot our side of garlic sauce. These issues can be fixed. As I really want to like this place. Overall the pizza tastes great, and I enjoy the Dough, and especially the cheese sticks. I hope someone there sees this and address the over topping, as I don't like eating pizza with a fork.

Best pizza is katy Texas. Nice place to relax and enjoy a date. We've been going for 20 years, and about three different owners

I'm from Austin, Tx. My mom, daughter and I were traveling to Houston to visit family and were looking for a place to eat. We were in the mood for pizza and this place popped up in our search. The pizza is really good and the service was great. It's a cute little neighborhood place and my daughter wants to stop here every time we come to Houston now.

Solid Pie for a fair price. And the service was also excellent...polite, gracious and thankful. Cleary a successful neighborhood pie house for everyone to enjoy.

I especially love their Signature Garlic Herb bread. It's toasted perfectly where the outside has a slight crisp around the edges and the inside is soft and fluffy. It's really GOOD bread. I definitely prefer it over the likes of something like Subway, Jersey Mike's, etc. It's nice that they offer different sizes of sandwiches. There's the Nug (4"), Pinner (8"), and the largest size is the Blunt (12"). I ordered the Nug. It's just the right size to satisfy my appetite without leaving me feeling heavy afterward. I also love and truly appreciate the diverse vegetarian options on the menu. They're not just the basic boring raw veggies combinations either. It's super casual and laid back inside. Love their fun decorations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a bar in the back with a large TV, allowing you to enjoy sports while sipping on a cold beer or cocktail. Glad they are in the area. For sure I will be a regular here. Just thinking about their bread makes me hungry.

I must say, although the customer service was great, the sub didn't really taste like anything. It was flavorless. This is the second time it's happened. But it's all good. I was still able to finish it. I'll still come back and maybe try something different next time.

The reviews were good and the place was casual which was exactly what we needed on a Friday afternoon still in our work clothes lol. Ambiance: Parking can get tricky on busy days, and seating is limited since the space is set up like a true sports venue dedicated to the Philadelphia Eagles. Expect a lively, fan-focused vibe. Service: The staff jumped in to help as soon as I walked through the door. Since it was my first time, they walked me through the menu without rushing me. Everyone was genuinely friendly, and they even made sure I got signed up for their rewards program. Food: I'm a sucker for a good Philly cheesesteak, so I went with the Quaker Steak while my party ordered the Pizza Steak. Both were good, but a little extra seasoning on the meat would've taken mine from good to great. The tater tots were on point, though, and the lemonade was so good I had to grab a refill. Overall: I'd definitely come back and try something different next time. I couldn't give a full five stars -- mainly because the seasoning on the sandwich fell a bit short for me, and the "10-inch" looked closer to a 6-inch. Still, I genuinely wish this business nothing but success.

I'm going to withhold torrential criticism of this establishment since I am new to it and I don't…read morewant to discourage folks however there are certain cautions that I think folks considering Harvey's should bear in mind. There is a dine in option however the place is relatively small and they have quite a busy "To Go" service so it is akin the having a meal along a busy sidewalk. Please don't misunderstand, if your option is to consume your meal in a facility or in your car it is likely more convenient but that ends the contrast. Because it is o "To Go" oriented for instance if you order gumbo (which I did) you will be given a small plastic spoon and salad (which I ordered) will be segregated (Like olives grouped together, feta grouped etc. ) in a container "To Go" container making it impossible to 'toss' without making a mess or using your hands. Let's address food which I have mentioned. Gumbo is akin to a Manhattan style fish chowder, not objectionable however not gumbo. The Greek Salad I gave already described with the addition of the fact that my dressing had solidified. When I pointed it out to the folks taking orders it was replaced however in this respect I'm glad I ate in...without a microwave it would not have liquified. Look, I am not an idealist, This is a sandwich "To Go" place I don't fault the owners at trying to make every square inch of a rental place earn money however the 'dine in' option is a convenience not an ambience. The 'gumbo' was not and the salad was a generous portion of lettuce, fresh vegetables, adequate feta however the initial dressing and the serving container for 'eat in' was disappointing. Next time I will order a sandwich which is a Deli goal.

Different Kinds of Cheesesteaks--This One Deserves Its Own Lane…read more I think people really need to acknowledge that there are different types of cheesesteaks. Not all of them are made to be compared--some are just totally different styles, and that's not a bad thing. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while after seeing the debates about who has the best cheesesteak in Houston. The only thing that held me back was the location. I finally made the trip--and I'm glad I did. First off: customer service. Let's be real--food trucks sometimes don't deliver on this, but that was not the case here. Super friendly and attentive. It made a big difference. What I tried: * Chicken cheesesteak with shrimp - Delicious. Messy, cheesy, and indulgent. If you're someone who likes your cheesesteaks loaded with toppings like lettuce or tomato, this might not be your thing. But if you're into a bold, no-frills kind of sub? You'll love it. * Philly steak eggroll - Fire. * Fries - These were wild. Battered like fried chicken, perfectly crispy. I might honestly come back just for the fries. * Corned beef - Served Midwest-style, and the meat was on point. Tender and flavorful. Bottom line: I really enjoyed this place. It's not trying to be like everyone else--and that's exactly why it works. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd absolutely return.
