First, I assumed this was more of a sit down restaurant with table service. It's not exactly. You order at the counter, are given a number, and the food is brought to you. There are tables where you then choose and sit at. Second, the pizza looks amazing (although I didn't order one) and you get to watch them make it fresh. Third, prices were not as astronomical as I assumed they would be - note, they're not "fast food" prices but they're also not crazy high. The woman taking my order seemed a bit confused (maybe it was a trainee?) and English was her second language, but she was sufficiently civil and eventually found the items I was ordering. So no complaints, just a bit of repeating and waiting. We ordered the Bolognese, the beet salad, and the broccoli rabe all to go. All was tasty. We'll be back!

I was able to snag one last to-go deep dish on June 18th, and the wait was 90 minutes. Well worth it for my last slice of Armand's. Everyone else in line thought the same.
