While checking out Google's new mobile food delivery feature, I found Pizza Buzz as a new option for pizza. My first move? Check Yelp. With a mediocre average score I realized the place is under new ownership recently and a quick sort by review date told a different story- lots of 4 and 5 star reviews. Nice. I went to the Pizza Buzz site and placed my order. There are options beyond pizza- apps, sandwiches, salads, etc. We went with a thin crust sausage & black olive and a second thin crust Canadian bacon & pineapple. We are decided to try the app sampler- 3 wings, 3 baked ravioli, 3 mozzarella sticks, and 3 jalepeno poppers. The web site told me to wait about 45 minutes. The food arrived about 10 minutes early, and the food was hot, nice! The pizza was good, not great. The crust was the best part- super thin and crispy, not greasy at all. I felt like the sauce was your run-of-the-mill canned stuff and there was not a lot of cheese on the pie. The toppings were fresh but sparse. There was a heavy taste of some sort of Italian seasoning scattered over the pizza. To be honest, it tasted pretty close to one of the big box pizza chain's thin crust- nothing special. The apps were so-so. The jalepeno poppers were full of cheddar cheese, not cream cheese. The mozzarella sticks tasted of the frozen variety. The chicken wings were huge and pretty tasty actually. We had the buffalo style, but they offer a bevy of other flavors. Pizza Buzz was more of a pizza fuzz... maybe we'll be back, maybe not? TL;DR: Decent thin crust with quick delivery and an easy online order experience. Not too satisfied with the apps. read more

Ordered for delivery tonight. Food made it here in time, and was still warm, the pizza wasn't as warm though. I ordered a pizza, the spaghetti and the sampler. Everything is very delicious, their marinara is amazing, clearly made in house. I will be ordering Italian from this place more frequently for the great taste. Loved the fried ravioli! read more

I'm giving Pizza Buzz 5 stars - 4 for the food and 1 for the service. Personally-I don't eat pizza, but my family does. The first time we ordered I had the Italian sub-ok but not great. My picky 16 year old son had the buffalo chicken sandwich and raved about it. We made a special request for Alfredo sauce on one of the two pizzas, and they called to make sure they had the order right. Because they had the best tasting Alfredo sauce on a pizza we'd had, we decided to order again. This time, I saw an interesting pizza- the Tandoori Chicken Pizza. There was a great coupon for two large pizzas including one gourmet, so we ordered it. NOW- I can say there is a pizza on earth I actually LOVE! It's authentic and contemporary at the same time. The cilantro is perfect with the Indian flavors (surprisingly authentic) in the Tandoori chicken. I've read the reviews about the chewy style crust but my family loves it, and thanks to the Tandoori chicken pizza that changed my view on pizza forever-so do I! I love to support local business and Pizza Buzz so far makes me remember why. All of you with the negative reviews should consider that by and large you're passing ridiculously culinary judgment on a convenient, frugal and effortless meal, delivered to your door. We LOVE this place! It's family-owned and -operated and has the most amazing pizza. Our favorite is the chicken tandoori pizza with hand tossed crust. It's spicy and oh so tasty! Tonight we tried the Primavera salad and the garlic knots for the first time; would highly recommend both. We arrived here hungry and tired from a 12-Hour trek from Saint Louis; they welcomed us in with open arms and, when we told them of our road trip plight, invited us to use their tiny table so we could eat a meal outside the car. We ordered pizza with pepperoni and ricotta, a Caesar salad, and buffalo wings. The pizza was delicious with soft chewy crust that even the picky kids ate. The Caesar salad was yummy, dressing had really good cheesy flavor. I wanted so badly to enjoy the wings as I've been craving them, but they were so salty that I could barely eat 2 of them. I think they sprinkled some sort of seasoning after saucing them, which was just too much. I may order them again, but will definitely inquire if they can make them less salty. read more

Had food from here twice now, originally ordered the tandoori chicken calzone on a whim. I hadn't seen such a thing before, and figured it'd be worth a shot. Best decision ever. Prices are a little on the high side for a pizza place, but the calzones I've had have been excellent. Will probably try their pizza at some point too. read more

I was hoping for better after reading the reviews. Pros: Fast delivery and ease of ordering online. The delivery guy was courteous. The food was hot. Cons: The best way I can describe the pizza is MEH. Not much flavor and kinda chewy. I also ordered 6 hot buffalo wings. The hot sauce was Frank's red hot, or something very very close to that. First of all, Pizza Buzz has the best thin-crust pizza crust I have ever tried. It's crispy, but solid enough to hold the ample toppings provided. Second, I'll echo the prior review on the Tandoori Chicken pizza...it is quite excellent. We add paneer (a cheese commonly used in Indian cuisine) and extra sauce because we love the flavor combination. Third, the "regular" pizzas from the Buzz are superior to the average chain fare available in our area...plenty of sauce, cheese, and delicious toppings. I've never tried the alfredo sauce, but I will after reading the prior review! :-) All in all, Pizza Buzz thin crust pizza is the best around...I would recommend it to anyone! read more

Was really excited to try this, heard really great reviews....so disappointed! Ordered 2 small pizzas, spaghetti, and the appetizer sampler to try ($60!) Order was over an hour late from suggested delivery time and cold! More so the chicken wings in the sampler were raw on the inside (which I could post pictures here)! Delivery guy unfriendly as well! So I went to this place 3 times. I only go here because of the panner and tandoori chicken pizza. All 3 times the pizza was very cold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the first and second time but third time again is not nice. Also the pizza is chewy that my mouth hurts chewing. Great little hole in the wall, but don't let the size fool ya the fool is muy guapo and yummy. Make sure to try the meatball sub, the meatballs are the size of a Russian truckers Fist. We just moved to the area and during the move-in process my in-laws ordered from this joint. I am so glad they did. The delivery guy was nice and even remembered us when we came in at a later date. They ordered the Bianca pizza and the Supreme and it just hit the spot. We've been back a few times since then and will continue coming back. The Tandoori chicken pizza is another big winner for us. Great little neighborhood pizza place. I like that they have thin crust as an option and offer a more unique array of toppings (including chicken tikka masala.) I've ordered from them a couple times and though the pizza is thoroughly cooked, it usually doesn't seem super hot. The only thing I wouldn't recommend are the desserts; they taste good, but are always partially frozen. Horrible customer service! I will NEVER be back to this joke of a business mainly because of the owner (Jay) who was incredibly rude and unappealing to speak to over the phone. Not only was he no help at all when asking about the different pizzas he served me something inedible. It was absolutely disgusting. Cold, half cooked and had a very odd putting smell, even my dog was turned off by the stench. When i called back to see why, he was offended i was calling to say i wasn't impressed with his product.
