Highly recommend Pizza Costello. The owner is there every day serving up yumminess. There is not much room to dine as there is just 1 or 2 tables that each seat two. Only feedback to the owner is to smile and be a little more engaging with your customers. I've been there twice and thought maybe on the second visit he might remember me but I'm not sure he did. So Southern California is a barren wasteland for Midwest and NY style pizza. Hell, even the grocery stores suck. So this is what Big O's has morphed into. Big O's was ok. As you can see, I like my pizza cut in squares and Cosentino's, like Big O's are accommodating to the request. Everything was pretty good, but there was hardly any sauce and the cheese could've made it to the edge, along with another couple of minutes in the oven to cook up the cheese. It was almost there. I added another pic. A place called Savoy, a chain in the Twin Cities. You want to see what I'm talking about? Go to your search bar, type in Savoy and then add Minneapolis as your location. Scroll through those pics and you'll see what I mean. I'll have them again. I always do when I come to visit and I look forward to upgrading this review cause honestly, it really was close. read more

Had some pizzas for a family get together. Pizza was very good. I met the owner when I picked them up and he is originally from Jordan! His family has multiple pizza restaurants in Jordan that have been in business for over 30+ years. Pretty impressive. I wish them the best and highly recommend trying Pizza Castello! read more

Pizza Castillo is excellent. I'd recommend the supreme with everything And pineapple . The good old Big O Pizza used to be this same business location but things change and now it's called Pizza Castillo's and this is my go to pizza place when I'm in the mood for great pizza. Pizza Castello replaced Cosentino's Pizza about a year ago, so if you haven't been recently, give the new place a try! It's really good and supporting local business is awesome! We are a busy family and honestly eat pizza at least 3 times a week. We love AllStar, Ballpark, Terra Mia, and even Flippin. My husband had an errand to run in that part of MV, so he thought it would be a good idea to try a new place. I drive by it all the time so I was excited to try it. Sadly it was probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. It reminded me of bad hospital cafeteria pizza. The crust was flavorless, not crispy, not chewy, I can't even describe it other than underwhelming. I ate the piece that had mushrooms, sausage, and olives. The mushrooms were gross. The sauce was underwhelming also. I gave 2 stars because the garlic knots were not bad. While I will never order pizza from there again, I'm very curious to try the sub since that's where all the good reviews come from. I'll update my review then. read more

Another great visit and yummy order, but this time went out on a limb and got the white garlic. I was worried it would be too much sauce and gooey but tried it anyway! SO DELICIOUS! I like it better than the red sauce pizzas. Going to add a few more toppings next time! And they have the Dubai chocolate which I forgot to order, next time. I love this pizza! read more

Great Italian food!! Highly recommend! Prices are great. They seem expensive but the portion sizes are huge. We shared a calzone between 3 people and that was plenty of food for the 3 of us. I tried some of the meatball sub and it was so delicious! The bread was delicious and fresh and the meatball was definitely good quality. I highly recommend it! We only ordered our food to go so no comments about the service other than they got our order correct. Other people gave bad reviews for the items being incorrect. This used to be Big O To Go and is now the new Cosentinos. Very clean inside where you pick up or order your pizza so that's great. The chicken garlic pizza is really good and probably my favorite. Service is friendly and pizzas come out on time. Going to have to try wings next time to see if they are any good. Putting my marketing hat on that nobody asked my to... drop 2 free wings in each large pizza order so next time they order the wings too... just an idea.. read more

Stepped out of my comfort zone and instead of ordering from my usual places decided to order from Cosentino's. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with our pizza. We had The Works Pizza, which was so loaded with toppings, I wasn't sure how to eat my slice without dropping a meatball or two! I've never been fond of the heavily tomato-sauced pizzas and love cheese as much as the next person, however this pizza was delicious in its own right. The focus was the toppings (meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, onions, olives). There must have been some cheese in there somewhere, but I was so enjoying the toppings I didn't notice. Ordered through DoorDash. I wanted to try a local place that was new to us, so gave Consentino's a try. The toppings on the supreme were tasty and fresh. Good tasting crust too. My kids wanted the cheese pizza (because they have boring taste buds) and they enjoyed that too. Going to try Consentinos again in the future. read more

This place is super disappointing! The sandwiches are nothing like they used to be from Big O! Even though the a/c wasn't working so you really couldn't eat inside plus there was only a couple tables, the gentleman (owner?) jumped up to take my order. My husband is an Italian-New Yorker, so as soon as we bought a house in MV, he needed to find his meatball sub place. After some trial and error at other MV locations, he found his favorite place here! He must really like this location because he's brought home a meat ball sandwich at least 5 times in the last month. Today, he brought me a turkey sandwich and it was delicious. Piled high with turkey, a ton of raw onions (as requested), and lettuce. It was a massive sandwich I'm still trying to finish! We agreed the bread of the sandwiches is amazing. My family member placed the order but forgot one of my kids' pizzas so they whipped one up super quick. He owns another Cosentino's down in San Clemente. Love their fig and goat cheese pizza as well as the white sauce pizza, my husband loves the Inferno and Mango Habanero pizzas. Family favorite! Worth checking out, such nice people here. All the bad reviews must be from some hell of pizza connoisseurs because we feel we have a food palette for pizza and this place is great. Their menu is more creative than Big O's. The old place was super generous with their toppings it was practically drenched in them yes but I appreciate a pizza crust that isn't 8 mm thick! read more

Tiny little joint that caters to the to go patrons typically. Two small, 4 seater tables are located inside and thank God because we are not from this area and needed to dine in. The owner is very kind and accommodating. The fig and goat cheese pizza with balsamic glaze is amazing. My grandson had the pepperoni pizza and was also yummy. The house salads are generously portioned and only $8! What a bargain. It had tomatoes, pepperoncinis, olives, and mozzarella. The gentlemen was very engaging and helpful as well. The best thing about this pizza, is that you could actually taste the toppings, because they're fresh, they're really using quality ingredients. The pizza smells as good as it looks. I've been to the one in I believe San Clemente, and so glad that this Is now here local. They have a very charismatic staff.
