Large Sicilian Pie nasty
Savannah C.

We waited an hour for a Sicilian pie and 12 buffalo wings. We got home and the pizza was all sauce is was seeping with sauce. It was gross. It wasn't cooked and cold. The wings were sooooo over cooked and dry there was no sauce on them. We were spitting it out. For $40!?!? I'm confused

Pizza corner is a solid 3.5 stars for sure. The prices have increased here a bit but so has every other pizza spot. The meatballs are good the pizza crust is thin, the pizzas are tasty, not much to complain about (although there's no fresh garlic on the grandma pie which I like) Eh all in all it's a fine enough in n out shop, nothing spectacular but worth the try.

Would give zero stars if I could. Just spent $85 in there and get home missing an item after I was told "everything's there" get on the phone and he says "oh yeah I have it right here" maybe a call before I get home? Open up the food when I get back, $85 worth of grease. Given this place many of chances and will not be going back. Grilled Chicken Panini

I have been going to Pizza Corner for over ten years and have tried most things on the menu and have not been disappointed at anytime. This is my "go to" place for pizza even after moving from Holstsville to Smithtown. I enjoy the grilled chicken calzone and usually get their chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan pizzas. Their grilled chicken panini is excellent. All of their specialty pizzas are good. They mostly do take out, but do have a large seating area for families or groups. I drive out my way to go here, give them a try.

Anyway.... I was hesitant to give em another shot, but after hearing about new ownership, fair is fair. And I didn't think my previous review would be "fair" to them. So I made my obligatory "3 visit" rule (I try out a place 3x times before writing a bad review; after all, everyone is entitled to have a bad day, right?). So.... I'm happy to report NOW that the place was clean, the staff were pleasant and friendly, and the pizza was GREAT. Lots of choices (I'm a by the slice kinda guy), all tasted fresh, and frankly, it's pretty damn good. With that: 5 stars, and a hearty recommendation! Enjoy!

Mondays and Tuesdays, a complete dinner is $21.95 and includes choice of salad with fresh greens or caesar salad, main dish, unlimited soda and for dessert, a choice of cheesecake or a mini cannoli! Last night, arriving at 7:30, there was only one table open. It was crazy busy with 2 birthdays being celebrated. My usual night to dine there is on Tuesday, no reason in particular, and it was nice to see, at first, that they have a person named Carmelo singing while playing the keyboard as entertainment! Will come back to this in a moment! The food is always great and consistent. On an especially busy night while I was there they didn't falter on service or food! The salad is fresh and they offer Thousand Island dressing, my favorite! I find that to be a rarity to have at an Italian restaurant but lucky me!! My baked ziti was an amazing blend of everything, the pasta cooked perfectly! Did I mention there are prepared entrees in a big refrigerator when you walk in that are practically free?? It's filled with a variety of ready made dishes including pasta, chicken, seafood and desserts! Everything is priced at $6.00! That is an over the top great deal on great food to me!! Ok, back to the live entertainment! Carmelo was very good! He sang Italian songs as well as popular ones! He even took a moment to sing Happy Birthday to the people celebrating that night which was very nice but....he was loud, a little too much!! The restaurant was noisy to begin with! A combination of the restaurant completely filled and the loud music and singing I couldn't hear my daughter, AT ALL! Instead of talking, we conversed via text the whole time we were there! Except for a few 5 minute breaks, this was extremely annoying to me but for some, this might be a good thing! I will absolutely be returning to Medford Pasteria as I have yet to try their pizza except.... I will not be eating there on Mondays!

The hero roll was a fresh, seeded semolina bread--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken cutlet was generously sized and fried to perfection. The cheese was plentiful, and the sandwich wasn't overloaded with sauce. When I opened the bag and saw the hero, I was pleasantly surprised. At $13, it was a substantial sandwich and a good value. Many restaurants charge similar prices but skimp on the filling, leaving you with little more than a bread sandwich. On my first bite, I immediately noticed the tangy, acidic tomato sauce. While many people enjoy a bright, acidic sauce, it's not my personal preference. I also encountered a chewy bite, likely from the tendon that sometimes runs through a chicken tenderloin. It's the tough white cord-like strip that can occasionally make its way into a sandwich. Overall, I'd rate this sandwich an 8/10 for value but only a 5/10 for flavor. While the portion size and quality of the bread and chicken were impressive, the sauce wasn't to my liking. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
