Riverside Pizza & Pub is one of the better hangouts for those having good times. A wait is worth it mostly. The prices are okay for the big portions. Coming in here it was a few minutes before getting seats at the bar. It's often a longer wait for getting a table. There's often games people are watching. A great place to come for it. Has plenty of big TVs on the walls. It's about $8 a pint for local beers. That's kind of a lot. A lot of cocktails are cheaper at happy hour. It's about $11 for a martini. These of course go pretty great with Italian food and they're cheaper at the happy hour too. It's about $13 for the Build Your Own Pasta. You choose sauces and toppings. Of course pizza is the main thing to get. There's a lot of great specials Got stuffed eating so much from here. It's got a couple other locations which are pretty much the same things to get really. There's always a crowd especially on weekends.

Our favorite pizza is "the works" pizza without olives. I think we've ordered this twice now, and I say "I think" because it could've been more - my husband is the one who usually requests pizza like it's daily bread and naturally would do the ordering :) If you order "the works" without any modifications, it contains sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, mushroom, onion, green olives, black olives, and green peppers. We've only tried the pizza made with traditional thin crust, but they have different types of dough you can choose from for a slight upcharge: double dough, pan, stuffed, etc. This pizza is perfect because it checks the box for meats (him) and checks the box for veggies (me). We also order a side of marinara which comes in a little tub like a "cup" of soup; it is worth the $5 to dunk your crust in. That's how I will always order pizza, with extra marinara on the side. We've had their wings and a few other apps too. if you're ever in the mood for really good thin crust that holds up against the toppings and is still tastes right out of the oven when if you order delivery, maciano's is the place. They are perfect for game days, or really any occasion when you're craving really good 'za.

During the great snowstorm of Friday February 9th. My wife an I decided we wanted a good hamburger. Shoveling makes you very hungry. Not wanting to start up snow covered vehicles, My wife decided to walk down to Cucina. We live in Montgomery, but Oswego is a stone's throw, across the street. We don't usually take chances on ordering specific menu items from stores, we are not used to. We decided to take a leap of faith and try a mushroom burger from Cucina. I was amazed at the size and taste of the hamburger. Actually, I could have cut it in half and saved a portion for another meal. I must say, it compared to a gourmet burger from any upscale restaurant. I give this particular menu item an A++. I will definitely plan on going back and trying other menu items. Five stars for me because I appreciate subtle flavors. Sauce Man makes his similar to my Mother-in-Law; both go back to the old neighborhood on Taylor St. (Little Italy).
