This is our second visit. We ordered the onion rings, mozzarella cheese sticks and garlic bread with cheese. All three were good but the garlic bread with cheese was the best. We also ordered a thin crust half sausage and pepperoni pizza and a large cheese stuffed. The thin crust was delicious. Cooked perfectly. The large cheese stuffed was huge. Mush lager than expected definitely larger than the other pizza places down the street. The waitress both times have been very attentive and very nice. There are a lot of good options on the menu besides pizza which gives many options to the entire family. This is a gem in Oswego and a must try if in the area. This is also BYOB. normally the pizza is good and the service is great . today we ordered what we always order. when we got our order it was incorrect. we then reached out to them to inform them that the order was incorrect and all they said that it was my mistake. I understand that they are busy on a friday and we told them that it was ok mistakes happen all we wanted was what we ordered. the women on the phone just kept repenting that it was too bad and she couldn't do anything about it other than charge us for what we ordered. I went to lunch today with my family and I have to say this is by far one of my favorite pizza places. The pizza is cheesy and delicious. Their calzones are always spot on with the right amount of ingredients and sauce and cheese. The crust is very buttery and crisp. The service is always fast and friendly. Pizza Cucina has decent quality food, but where they lack is customer service. I've ordered from them for many years brought in new customers for them to help them out. I recently ordered from them but when it arrived one side of the box was soaked in pizza sauce, which I presume that the driver mistakenly place the pizza lopsided. I was a little disappoint that half the pizza didn't have sauce because of this. I thought no big deal this was the first time anything like this had occurred, I was surely mistaken. I called and told them about the mishap the lady who answered the phone was friendly enough to offer a new pizza that day or a credit for another day. Not wanting to wait for another pizza that day I decided to go with the credit. The lady said she would mark that down for me and I said my thanks and hung up. Come a week later I call and try to use the credit I should have but apparently there wasn't anything marked for my number. The lady said she would try to call the manger and call me back I agreed confused on why it wasn't marked when it should have been. I call back about 2 hours later to ask what had happened and the lady said she would try to call her again as she has a second job which she should be getting off. I thank her again as she said she'll call me back with an answer which she never did. Now comes to today when I call again to ask about the situation and I was informed by the manager who was very rude by the way that I had called them several times about complaints and messed up orders that weren't. Me being baffled by her demeanor and accusations I plead my innocence as this was my favorite pizza place and I had never made any complaints. She continued on about how the owner was done with me when still confused I ask when this had occurred she very promptly said all the time and that my phone number was the complaints. Again I had never had any incident with them although my older brother whose phone number may be connected to my address did have some complaints with them thus causing confusion. I just want to be able to order from them again without this confusion or negativity. I'm just a customer who is polite on the phone, gives tips and brings them new business. Wow...best pizza I have had in a long time. The yelp deal brought us in and we will be back. We ordered the colossal pizza which is a double dough crusted pie with just about all the ingredients on it. The crust was thick yet crispy and had flavor, the sauce had a bit of a zesty flavor to it that I haven't found in a pizza in a long time. I used to love Benes pizza(out of business)in Crestwood and this pizza was close to my favorite pizza from that location they called it their old fashioned, it brought back memories. Looking forward to trying more off the menu in the future. It was all fresh ingredients. Also a order of the manicotti. It was excellent. Light airy pasta noodles. Tasted homemade to me. Love their spaghetti sauce. Great combination of seasonings. If you end up ordering, get a thin crust because the "double dough" crust tastes like some off brand I could buy at Walmart for $5. Not to mention the lady was rude while taking my order and not informational at all .. as a first time customer I want to know what this place recommends and she could not tell me anything and kept putting me on hold .. at least 3 times. I love this place! I recommend the buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks & fried zucchini. I enjoy their thin crust pizza& jalapeño poppers too. If you love chicken wings I really recommend trying their spicy buffalo wings. They are not what you expect since you would expect the red buffalo sauce all over the wings, these wings save you the mess because it does not have that sauce yet it still tasts delicious, spicy; juicy, just like buffalo wings.
