It's pizza.....except the kind of pizza that is weighted with a cheese epidemic! I have never had a pizza with so much cheese that I had to scrape most of it off just to find the dough (ok...exaggeration but that's what it felt like). I'm giving Pizza Factory three stars because of past experience, but the last two pizzas we have gotten from them were 1 star at the most. Very little sauce, not enough cheese, and overdone. The pizzas are quite expensive but the quality doesn't justifies the price. We have lived in Anacortes for 12 years and will try them again, hoping we just went on off nights the last two times. I hope they haven't gone downhill but it seems like they might have. read more

Stopped by Pizza Factory a couple months back. It's now a regular stop when passing through. Great pizza, a buffet salad bar which is kept stocked and clean. Several craft beers on tap. The owner and staff are very friendly and make the experience even that much better. Several flat screens in the dining area. The pizza crust had the right crunch/chew to it, but was flavorless. The sauce wasn't great. Our combo calzone was overwhelmingly stuffed with peppers and onions and skimpy on the meat. The best thing we found here was the salad bar. Everything was clean and fresh, but $4.50 for a small bowl seemed high. read more

Phoned in an order for two large Hawaiians to go. Came to $40 when I picked them up (overcooked, chewy crust). There was a sign on the wall for extra large two toppings for $15 special. Asked the counter guy why they didn't mention the special on the phone. He said they had a lot of new people (so?). Rip me off, I won't be back. Doesn't matter, I don't live there. I could not be anymore dissapointed. The pizza was fantastic as always, however when I walked in their was a young black haired lady working who blatantly ignored me while she punched away on her tablet or iphone, or whatever you'd call it.... after I gave a slight notice me im right here caugh she finally noticed me. If it was possible to give a lower rating I would. Ordered a pizza from them Thurs. night for a neighbors 89th birthday party. I bit into a piece and found a metal washer in the pizza. Luckily I didn't break a tooth. Or it could have been worse, a kid could have choked on it. I took the washer, still stuck in cheese back to the Factory. A bunch of kids there, they could not of cared less. They phoned their manager ( I guess) and then told me he said they could give me my money back. Some of the best food we've had in a while. We split the chili, lasagna, and a small seahawks pizza. After ordering we had just enough time to challenge each other to get the high score on pinball before food started coming. The food was all very good. Each of the items was the best of its kind we've had in a while. The pizza had a thin crisp crust and was piled with toppings. The chili was perfect. The lasagna was nice and cheesy. The pizza was great as leftovers. We were seriously considering only eating here for the rest of our trip. We had never heard of this chain before we found this place. Our biggest problem with this place is that the nearest one to our home is a hour and a half away. Luckily our next trip is to Port Townsend and they have one there. read more

We ordered delivery. Had seven people in the house. No one heard the driver knock, no one saw car headlights in the driveway. They said we had to go pick it up. They didn't try to deliver and Im sure they owner would have loved his $60 order being completed. read more

We were staying at the hotel right next to the Pizza Factory, and was told repeatedly to tell them that we were staying there and we'd receive 20% off of our total order. So, since we had just returned from a 5 1/2 hour whale watching excursion, we were tired and didn't want to go looking too far. We walked in, and there was no menu board to be seen anywhere. We took one of the brochures that had the items and prices, and had to wait for both order takers to get off of the phone (call-in orders), then take care of the customers in front of us, then she finally got to us. The very FIRST thing that we told her was that we were staying at the hotel, and she said "20% discount. Got it." My husband got the custom calzone with ham, pepperoni, sausage and beef, and I got the lasagna and a side salad. She hands me two plates, and I have to tell her that only one of us is getting the salad bar. She takes the other plate back and puts it back on the rack (eww...). Tells us our total, and my husband and I are looking at each other like, this isn't right. She hands us the credit card receipt, and shuffles us off so she can answer the phone again. Now. On to the salad bar. It was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in awhile, there was food all around and in other crocks. The lettuce mix was rather wilted, and they had added spinach to the mix. EWWWWW. If I wanted spinach, I'd have added spinach! Don't add it to the general lettuce mix. I do have to admit, their ranch dressing was really good. We sat and waited for our food. When my husband went up to get it, it was packaged to go. The woman who was handing the food out looked at my husband and said, oh, it's for here. Go ahead and sit back down and I'll bring it out to you. We were still kind of upset at the total amount, so when she brought the food, my husband then asked for an actual receipt, and explained that we were staying at the hotel. The woman told us to hang on, and that she'd go and see what the deal was. She brought us back $6.00 and told us that the girl who had taken our order didn't take the discount off. Her demeanor actually saved the visit. The food itself was hot, although my husband's calzone was a tad bit over done, my lasagna was AWESOME. The garlic bread that came with it was rather meh, but the meal was good. read more

In Anacortes Pizza Factory reigns supreme. It's not the best pizza I've had in my life but its good! My husband and I can't agree on pizza so we always end up getting two pizza's and eating more than I care to admit. If you live here in town I recommend it! read more
