We're here for the pie!! Village is the best local pizza place around here. We don't live nearby so it's a treat for us to come here. The pizza is consistently good. We have never been disappointed. Beware it's crowded and loud most of the time as large parties come in. We aren't the only ones who enjoy Village Pizza. Their wings are also good and they have a large variety of pizza types. Well as good as the pizza is it helps if they make it and you get to eat it. Sat here for an hour waiting and finally went up to check on it. They never even put the order in. Recently tried Village Pizza and found their Pizzas are wonderful. Will switch to them for future orders. Our only complaint is if you want any add on or changes, those add on or changes costs are not listed, so you need to call and ask, which is a time waster and can be confusing. Good size lobby with tables & booths available. Clean & welcoming. Great for family eating. They have a game corner with board games & card games. Friendly staff, many option on the menu. There's a bar attached to it as well I believe the name of it is the Wheel House. Food came out in a timely manner. These pizzas were fresh and large! We had several families and the location fit us easily. There is a casual but very clean atmosphere. We ordered a variety of pizzas and all were delicious. The pizza had this thing crunchy crust while still maintaining a soft bread. Ordered the village idiot and it was perfection. Did a mini with oysters and shrimp. Village Pizza has been here forever! They have a great bar and restaurant. Tonight was crazy busy ! Service was still fairly good and we were lucky to find an open table. I'm giving a pass on the dirty table because they were so busy. The village Idiot is our favorite pizza; lots of sausage, pepperoni and ham on a very well cooked crust. The sausage they use has a lot of fennel seeds and so make sure you like that flavor. It is loaded with ham and pepperoni too. We also enjoyed the shrimp salad. One large is enough to share with a lot of bay shrimp and a great salad mix. The black olives, tomatoes and sunflower seeds add the perfect flavor. Now this place was really amazing. The pizza was ok, bit above average and had to order at the counter. Everyone was nice and friendly. In one corner, as you enter, they had a bunch of games that could bring to your table. We came here as this place was a mortuary well before being a pizza place/ bar. There were a few stories about haunting spirits yet nothing was apparent. We were able to take a brief tour too and that was interesting as second floor is a banquet area for larger groups of people. This will be my go to place next time in Anacortes since really enjoyed the ambiance, and the stories. Stopped at our local Dominos to give it a try. This was a popular choice during my college days and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a large pepperoni and was happily surprised at the ultra low cost, approximately $8. The pizza was great, the staff couldn't have been more friendly. This is by far the BEST pizza place I have ever experienced and I LOVE pizza so I eat it everywhere! We just moved to Anaco and we go to Village on a weekly basis and get the same things every single time! Pepperoni pizza, a side of Buffalo wings, 3 root beers and ranch! So disappointing. Ordered a sausage, mushroom, onion pizza. Minuscule amount of paper thin mushroom (so thin it didn't have a taste of mushroom) with a couple small pieces of sausage on each slice and those were on the edge of the crusts -- no sausage or mushrooms on the rest of the pizza. Well I was super pleased to find a family oriented classic style Italian restaurant. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs which is an amazing meal it's a lot of food first of all you get for massive meatballs that are topped with cheese and then baked it's super good. I also got an order of the chicken wings which is 10 wings for 10 bucks awesome deal super fresh hot really clean tasting oil and there were three choices I think of wings I went with the classic and it was delicious got some blue cheese to dip and I was good to go. Ordered delivery on a Tuesday night with one medium The Garden Delight and one medium The Village Idiot. The pizzas arrived within 40 minutes and were piping hot. The two medium pizzas easily fed 5 people and we had plenty of leftovers the next day. The pizzas were generously covered with Parmesan and are some of the best pizzas I've ever had. This is my first time coming to Village Pizza and I have to say I had higher hopes for this place. The pizza looked very appetizing but it actually lacked flavor. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but there was definitely something missing. The restaurant started to get packed around 5 PM so the fact that we came at 4:30 gave us time to order and have our food out within minutes. I think it's a good place for a quick bite after work or a lunch with family/friends. The menu definitely had many choices but it was confusing if you weren't a local. Our waiter was very kind and made the experience way better. He went out of his way on one occasion and that's why I put two stars. Excellent customer service and delicious piping hot pizza! I was attending an outdoor live music event nearby and decided to order a pizza to be delivered to the event. I called to order and the fellow who answered was patient and unruffled even though it was a Saturday night during dinner rush. I didn't know the exact street address of the event but rather than being annoyed with me, he patiently looked it up so the driver would know where to go for delivery. When the delivery driver arrived (earlier than the initial ETA) I was not waiting for him in the parking lot (like I was supposed to be) but he called and left me a voicemail patiently explaining that he was in the parking lot. I walked out and eventually found him. He was friendly, polite and unhurried, in a situation where he could have been exasperated, flustered and brusque. I tipped him accordingly and said thanks! When I returned into the event with my pizza, it was still piping hot and I had to wait for it to cool down before taking my first bite! And it was delicious.
