Just like the owner, we grew up going to Pizza Factory in California City. They are bringing back what I loved about Pizza Factory that once was previously lost. I have been going to this Pizza Factory for quite a while. I always order the same pizza...an extra large with olives, mushrooms, sausage, and pepperoni. I order it on my way home from work. It has always been pretty tasteful...however...when I picked it up was cold and when I got it home, (5 minutes from the shop)...it was the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was REALLY thin, there was little if no sauce, very little cheese, and lacked any flavor. The toppings were about the same as usual, but it was so bad I couldn't get through the first piece...an ended up throwing it away. Not sure what is going on...but I won't be going back!! read more

I Ordered an extra large pizza for pickup. when I arrived the cashier was having a personal conversation with the person ahead of me, I waited patiently for 5 to10 min maybe even longer for her to finish her conversation about personal matters. I gave my name and paid for my pizza, she didn't open the box and show me the pizza as they usually do. I get home open the box and the pizza is burned, so I called to complain that my pizza is burned. The person on the phone who said her name was Rachel told me to hold on; she gets back on the phone and tells she looked at the video and my pizza was not burned. I said "I'm looking at this pizza and it looks burned to me." She then become argumentative with me, when I told her that its missing a part of the crust and it looked as if it had been torn off. My husband then gets on the phone and ask to speak with her manager, she says "I am the manager and I'm the owner." You are a manager and an owner of a establishment and this is how you speak to customers? Never once did she say I'm sorry your not satisfied if you would like to return the pizza we'll make you another on to your satisfaction. read more

New owner is super nice and has been working hard to make changes- however he changed the food so much that it is unrecognizable. The food does not taste the same. I think they changed suppliers too because even the sauce has a very different taste and not in a good way. The lunch buffet is limited choices because they won't make other pies until the ones out are being eaten. Customers should have their own choice or change the description to match the offering of limited options. I think the last straw was when they put cottage cheese in the lasagna instead of real ricotta cheese. Cutting corners is degrading the product. Really sad because he is a nice guy but the food is terrible. read more

Been coming here for a long time. Saw a dip in quality for a while but it's under new ownership now, and it's better than ever! The quality of the pizza is amazing, crust is well cooked and they definitely don't skimp on toppings. They have delicious pastas and subs as well, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Came here to have a party for my daughter and it's so ridiculously hot inside. I asked the lady that was working and she informed me that the owners will not let them turn on the air conditioning. I've been here at least a dozen times over the years but it was usually later at night or evening. To not turn on the air when it's 100 degrees outside and feels like 80 inside, is horrible, bad for business, and flat out ridiculous. How can they expect someone to visit their business when it's absolutely miserable in there? How about the staff that work there, especially the ones the work by the pizza oven? It just seems cruel to me to make employees suffer like that. *** When an owner wants to be cheap and not run the air, it makes you wonder what else they are being cheap on. *** Really disappointed because we really loved this place, but we won't come here ever again! read more

This place has my favorite pizza, so that wasn't this issue. The issue was the time it took to get my pizza delivered. I was told it would be 45 minutes to 1 hour for the delivery. After an hour, I called to inquire about my order and was told my delivery was the next in line. After an hour and 30 minutes, I called again and was told it was on the way? After an hour and 45 minutes, I was fed up and called to cancel my order and was told the it was one the way! While starting the process to cancel the order, the delivery driver finally showed up. I decided to accept the pizza and not cancel, mainly because I was starving!!! On a positive note, the pizza was hot, seemed to be freshly baked and tasted great. NEVER AGAIN. Girlfriend and I have been on two sperate occasions where our "order gets forgotten." We've sat in their dining room patiently waiting for our over priced pizzas to later find out they either "gave our food to the wrong table" or "accidently marked our order as takeout." The employees were unapologetic and unprofessional. After waiting over an hour both times we decided to NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE. EVER. I forgot to mention... I called after the second mistake and spoke with a manager that said to come in and get two free pizzas for the mistakes then I received a phone call from the owner telling me otherwise taking back what the young manager promised. read more

We have never dined here before and if it wasn't for the genuine hospitality of one of the owners CJ we might not have tried it. We met him earlier in the day and decided to give it a try. Ordered a small pizza and hot wings. The wings showed up in about 20 min. The pizza showed up in 1 hr 15 min. The wings were cold by then. People around us were upset that it took so long to get their pizza. When theirs showed up it wasn't cut. When they complained, they were handed a pizza cutter to cut it them self's. This is why we quit going here before the new owners took over. I grew up on Pizza Factory in my hometown and no other pizza has ever compared! So, imagine my excitement when I saw that I lived by one just 5 minutes away. However, they have greatly disappointed me. The same ingredients are there, but apparently there is a ration on ingredients that I didn't get the memo on. They continually are stingy on the sauce and meat. Whenever I have a craving for Pizza Factory I head on over to the one in Hesperia. All is not lost. We showed up at 8pm they closed at 9pm. They were very welcoming when we walked in. Got our pizza in a timely matter seeing we only had a hour for them to cook it and us to eat it. I am a pizza lover for sure. This pizza is very good. It's got that Greasy New York thin style crust any pizza lover can enjoy. Been eating here for a very long time. They do have new owners and Cj (new owner) was very nice and personable. Took the time to make sure we enjoyed are experience and even talked with my little boys. Which as a Dad I thought was nice of him to make them feel welcome. Plus they have a little arcade room. Nothing to go crazy for but enough to keep the kids entertained for 20 mins or so. We love the claw machine and trying to win prizes. My gripe in the place: The napkin situation: I feel they should have napkin dispensers at the tables. The pizza and wings can get messy and walking up to grab a crazy amount of napkins just makes me feel ridiculous. Lol... otherwise a great place to grab a good pizza fix. So we came to Pizza Factory today cuz my husband loves pizza and I like salad and we've been here probably about 10 times since the new owners took over and we thought today will run and get some pizza and hurry up and get my grandma to her doctor's appointment well like every other time with the buffet they don't have pizza out there almost all gone with the salad it took 15 minutes for us waiting for pizza to get on the warmer because they were not ready. I guess they weren't ready for people to show up at the buffet .they even messed up 1 guys order he had drank two beers and he goes will where's my pizza and she goes we forgot about it so we're put it in right now so the poor guy had to take the pizza with him if you guys are going to run a buffet have the food hot and ready between 12 and 2 your buffet times please because people that are in there are in a hurry and want to eat and get out or we're wasting our money by sitting around and not getting nothing. read more

if I could give negative I would, first the cashier is sick keeps wiping his nose on his sleeve...... second I go up for napkins one guy called the cashier over asked what is this meatball order ( about 10 mins after we ordered) so then I see them start our order. people that ordered after us are all eating so I go up and ask where our food was, as I'm walking up I see them put my order in the oven. So when the lady brings our order I asked what happened and she flat out lied, I told her I asked jyst to see what she would say. There are 6 people back there can't believe it takes 30 mins for cheese bread...... on top of that it is burnt on the bottom. won't be back.
