On our way back from a family camping trip we really wanted some Pizza so we found Pizza Factory on our way home. It was very big open space inside and only one worker, but the service was great. We ordered two XL pizza's and one Greek salad. The pizza was piping hot and so yummy. The crust was super good and I'm a sucker for some good crust. My salad was freshly prepared and was huge and exactly what I wanted in a Greek salad. My family is picky when it comes to Ranch dressing, but they loved the ranch. All in all this place deserves more then a 2 star and this is coming from a family of pizza connoisseur's.

Less than 1 star is more like it. If you like to eat pizza with a fork? Then this is the place to go. Or if you like soggy, greasy pizza.

Coming from Southern California, I'm used to places having very limited ingredient options for calzones, but the staff here were so accommodating and made the John special to House for me. The salad bar had all the classics and was a solid start. Seating consists of five tables for four and two tables for six. Unfortunately, three of the tables weren't cleaned and still had crumbs all over them. When I arrived, only one couple was dining in, so it wasn't busy--plenty of time to wipe things down. I picked the least dirty table available, but during the 25 minutes I was there, no tables were ever cleaned. On the bright side, the pizza was hot and fresh. I tried sausage & bacon, pepperoni, ham & pineapple, and the cheesy pizza. Everything tasted good, and the cheesy pizza had a nice crunchy bottom. Just a heads-up: the metal pizza tins come out extremely hot--I learned the hard way when grabbing a slice of cheese pizza. Overall: good pizza and a great lunch deal for the price.

I want to say many of the Strings locations have closed throughout the Bay Area, but this specific location in Jackson was such a nice experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was great ~ we ordered from the kids meal almost immediately, and they brought out a sippy cup and high chair within minutes. We ordered our entrees ~ I went with the Cheese Stuffed Shells and my husband the Spaghetti with hearty meat sauce and meatballs. We had yummy warm bread and olive oil/vinegar delivered to the table, and each entree came with a café salad or minestrone soup..so of course we went with both. The meal was fresh, comforting, and everything we needed and wanted for a quick stop to rest our bones for a nice meal on the road. Inviting interior, reasonably priced, and we even tried Amador Brewing beers, local to the area. To note, you can substitute gluten free pasta for an additional price. Extensive menu (including pizzas) for a little bit of something for everyone. Located in a shopping center, plenty of parking..would def come back when we're in town next year for our annual trip!

Very family-owned vibes while still feeling nice and welcoming. Service was great throughout the meal, and our waiter gave us some really good recommendations and information about the menu. They also corked our wine and kept it on ice, which was a nice touch. To start, we ordered the fried stuffed ravioli and bruschetta. We were also given complimentary fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic, which was a great addition. The fried ravioli was very good, kind of like a fancier mozzarella stick, and the marinara it came with was flavorful and balanced. The bruschetta was perfect: crusty bread topped with sweet, fresh tomatoes. So simple but so good. For mains, we ordered the carbonara and the wild mushroom ravioli. The mushroom ravioli was excellent, meaty and earthy in an addicting truffle cream sauce where the truffle flavor really shines through. The carbonara came out extremely hot, so it was initially hard to fully taste the flavors, but once it cooled a bit it was delicious. Maybe it could've used a touch more salt, but still very good overall. The pancetta was nice too, maybe just a little crispier and more rendered would've taken it even further, but it still brought that fatty, salty flavor I love. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu along with the chocolate and caramel cannolis. The cannolis were good, not anything especially memorable, but still a nice treat. The tiramisu completely stole the show. It was made fresh, which I was initially unsure about since tiramisu usually sits for a while, but the texture was amazing because the ladyfingers still had a slight crispness to them. We took the rest home, and after firming up overnight it was somehow even better the next day. Honestly the best tiramisu I've ever had. Great food, great service, and I'll definitely be back, even though I'm usually not even a huge Italian food fan.

I couldn't get enough of the croutons, dressing, and garbanzo beans with the fresh, crisp salad! I figured we couldn't go wrong with italian and this place was very close. I walked in and immediately loved the look of the restaurant. If you've been to Buca di Beppo it's kind of like that with lots of photos on the wall and italian statues around. It wasn't too busy and we were able to be seated right away. The table was set with a cute salad plate that I just loved the pattern of. Our waiter was young but friendly enough. The menu isn't the largest but it has all the staples. No pictures so I took to Yelp and Google to get a look at the food and see was was recommended. I settled on Eggplant Parmesean and my husband went with Fettuccini al Alberto. The waiter brought out bread and butter and parmesan cheese. The bread was ok, it didn't seem homemade and was a little bit like store brought sliced white bread. I was starving though so I welcomed anything to get started. I wish there had been olive oil and vinegar though. Next he brought out a big plate of polenta, which unfortunately was smothered in meat sauce. We had mentioned to him that we were vegetarians twice when we were ordering, so it was pretty disappointing to be presented with a meat dish. We pointed to him we couldn't eat the polenta with the meat sauce and he apologized but they did not offer to replace the dish with a regular red sauce. I was bummed because it looked really good and I really wish they had brought out a regular one. Seems like they could just use the red sauce as a standard so it After that there was a salad which had a red wine vinegar and olive oil, it also came with peppers, chickpeas and celery, which I thought was a nice way to add some color and flavor to the salad. We then were brought a lentil soup in a large blue bowl. The blue bowl seemed like an odd vessel but it worked. The soup was very tasty! Finally our entrees came. The entree portions were a little on the smaller side compared to other restaurants, however it is an appropriate amount considering how many appetizers they provide before it. I was surprised the eggplant parm didn't come with a side of spaghetti, but I could add some for $5. The eggplant was good, not overly fried and the red sauce was very tasty. My husband was very happy with the Fettuccini al Alberto (which was basically Alfredo). Overall this is kind of a funny place that had a quirky charm. I would come back again knowing what to ask for in terms of the polenta.
