Steve D here with another review :-) The place has good pepperoni pizza, and here is how I came to that conclusion: When I can't stop eating it, until I'm stuffed way beyond what I should have eaten, then it's pretty good. What makes this pizza good is the fact that the pepperoni is cooked correctly. I define that as curled up in a concave "cup" shape around the edges, and the edges are burned about 1/16th of the way from the edge inward, and there is a small puddle of oil in the middle. If you don't think that is the key to great pepperoni pizza, go get one of these and try to eat a reasonable amount. It just isn't possible. If you compare this to pizza from a place that puts cheese on top of the pepperoni, keeping it from being cooked correctly, you will know what I mean. The bread sticks are OK. The cup of pizza sauce they give you with it is pretty small and cold. I usually get ranch dressing instead for the bread sticks.. Drinks are a good mix and you get free refills. Silverware is in tubs, you grab your own, and I've never had anything not be clean. The table tops are sticky, but they are big wooden tables and I think it's the clear finish that is sticky. I think they just need to be refinished at some point. Slightly noisy due to the TVs on the walls playing sports, and pinball/video games along one wall. The place is never very crowded except for once in an while when a HS game gets out or something. Staff is friendly and very helpful when you need something like extra plates or a box. Check the pizza factory website, there are usually coupons you can print that will get you three bucks or so off of something, or free breadsticks. read more

Got the all you can eat salad bar, which was very fresh! Their breadsticks were amazing, and a small came with a bunch including ranch - and marinara! Mmm! Pizza was delicious! They were friendly. The place had an old style atmosphere but it was huge! my bf was a regular with his family when he was a kid - theyre just like he remembers them. We'll be back. read more

I am picky about pizza. The cheese, the crust...everything has to be just right. We ordered a large classic pepperoni and it DID NOT disappoint. The large pizza was $20+ if I remember correctly, but it's the best option in Winters for quick delivery pizza. I can't wait to eat indoors and try the beers once COVID is over! read more

I came here during the tractor parade and I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I came in at the end of the night, they were obviously very busy, yet every single employee there was extremely friendly, kind and accommodating. 3 of them went out of their way to get us the pizza size we wanted, show us how to use the beer wall and deliver our food. The pizza itself was delicious, very cheesy and we'll cooked but not burnt. The dough they use is bomb. I wasnt expecting much due to the huge crowd and yet they went above and beyond. Last night we ordered a pizza online from the Pizza factory. They will bring it out to the curb if you text when you arrive. We had a large veggie, thin crust. The pizza was beautiful and absolutely delicious, with a crisp crust, perfectly cooked. In fact, it was the best pizza I have had in Winters and I have tried them all many times. The others are good but this pizza was great. It was NOT the typical pizza factory pizza as in other towns and locations. It was artisan. A bit pricey for food not that exceptional Had a cold subway type sandwich and another one of us had a small pepperoni pizza. We were the only three people in there ordering. Took around 25 minutes to get our food after placing the order. No one else came in, except for one person to pick up a take out order. The cashier was more interested of who was on the phone ; apparently trying to correct a computer problem; all well and good , but I've seen many a place where the front personnel have ways of acknowledging your presence while taking care of other business. Finally took our order, which was slow arriving anyway. All told , the overall ambience was mediocre, and I don't plan on returning anytime soon. read more

Tonight, I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza from the Pizza Factory. In a word...Exquisite! The pepperoni had a bite to it, and the cheese was melty! (Is that a word?) They had it ready in the estimated amount of time, and everyone was curteous. I know the crust was fresh, because Chuck told me earlier that they got hammered last night, so he had to make dough! LOVE this place! Their pizza and sandwiches are SO good! You can tell they make the crust there and it's great and the salad bar is always fresh. I absolutely love their cheese and garlic bread. I'm very disappointed in Pizza Factory! My son decided to treat us and the day he does we find a cockroach inside the pizza box! It's definitely not our first time eating pizza factory but now we don't really trust them. I don't know how a big roach (def pregnant too) got in the box because it looks like it wouldn't have fit through the side and was sealed with a sticker!! Richard Pro here with another review. THE CALZONES ARE TO DIE FOR. The first time I came here, I found the restaurant to be dim, have no customers, and some decrepit arcade machines were in the corner. I got a double sausage, double mushroom calzone. For $12, I found it to be okay. Yet somehow, the week after, I returned. And the week after that, I came back yet again. I soon came to admit to myself that I loved that fresh, piping hot calzone. Quality chunks of italian sausage...small yet chewy mushrooms...and that decadent crust....mmm...clearly the BEST part of the calzone. Your calzone will not come out burnt, and a large is indeed quite large. Not big enough for two when it comes to Richard Pro, but for smaller stomachs, it probably is. I find that everyone has a smaller stomach than I do. Of course, I do have a few complaints. I am no longer a regular customer due to some unfortunate incidents. A large calzone comes in five pieces, and as you can imagine the pieces in the middle have the least dough. For those pieces, sometimes the bottom of the crust was soggy, and the toppings were so overwhelming that it felt like you were just biting into cheese and toppings (which tastes HORRIBLE. Pizza just isn't pizza without a crust). That doesn't mean they should skimp on toppings, it means they need a thicker, fatter calzone to compensate. Also, eat your calzone fresh. I found the quality of my calzone to go tremendously downhill after refrigerating leftovers. That's not their fault at all, but if it makes my food taste bad, I'm reluctant to return cuz whenever I think of the taste it leaves a bad one in my mouth. As a result: 4 stars. A fresh, large calzone is amazing. The pieces which don't really have a crust still leave you with a mouthful of cheese and toppings so that's okay. read more

A friend ordered a pizza from this place even though I've refused to eat there for 15+ years because of serious lack of consistent quality. We were not disappointed. The pizza LEAKED fluid out of the box on the way home! The crust was a soggy as was the white absorbent material underneath. The veggies (I didn't mind them a tad crunchy) but were way under-cooked. There was also a complete lack of flavor. If the whole pizza had been like the crust it might have been edible, but as it was soggy and not cooked properly it went in the garbage. We ordered a pizza from Round Table as a replacement. We called to talk to the manager, who of course was not their - surprise! Not worth the time or $$. I loved the cheese pizza and the cheesy garlic bread...and yes it is addictive.

We vacation at Lake Solano and have been here a few times. The pizza and hot wings are great and the service is excellent.

Great service and got our food pretty quick. Especially for it being busy and the 3rd day!

Not great. Pretty expensive for a pizza with only a few toppings. And the pizza itself was decent, but the flavor was not impressive. A yelp check-in gets you a dollar off, which was nice. Good service and fun atmosphere for the kids, just wish their pizza was better. read more

We stopped here on our way back from a hike. The service is H O R R I B L E. . . The 3 kids that work there are unprofessional. I went in and although there was a line, the two other employees didn't bother to help any of us and instead continued to gossip and laugh. Also, I pointed out to the cashier that the bathroom was a mess and they did not bother to clean it or apologize. The pizza is too overpriced for the low quality AND it took way too long to get it. Horrible experience and the food was just not good. First we waited 40 min for our food. It was 111 degrees outside and NO AC on inside. There was no ice available for my drink. My fiancé ordered a pastrami sandwich and I had the spaghetti. We ordered to go and the way they packaged my spaghetti it leaked and soaked through the bag and ripped it. The spaghetti was just not good, it tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. I ended up eating left over round table for dinner. Such delicious pizza...good selection of beer. Not happy with the salad bar though if you compare to round table. Lettuce is always dry.

After a long drive home from San Diego, I decided to try one of their pasta dishes. I figured quick and easy right? Wrong!! The gal told me 40 min for baked lasagna. I told her I didn't want to wait that long, so I ordered a greek salad instead. I was then told it would still be a bit as they had to make it. I'm thinking " at least it will be fresh". 15 minutes later, still waiting on my salad, and they were not busy. Upon getting my salad, I notice the lettuce is not romaine, and I ask what kind it is. The menu says fresh romaine. They apparently didn't feel the need to follow directions, and I got the crappy iceberg lettuce off of the salad bar. Iceberg? Really? And they didn't even offer to refund my money. The least they could have done, was to say" I'm sorry, we're all out of romaine, would you like iceberg? I will never go back. So tired of crap restaurant with crap service these days. The problem lies within these young kids who don't know the value of good customer service. I'd rather stay home and cook. At least I know what I'm getting. Pizza Factory lost a good customer, we did order from them frequently. If the menu says romaine, then that's what you should get!!! read more

This is great pizza. Very noisy for eating in so we usually get take-out. The take-out box has a lot of funny sayings on it. We like Woodstocks in Davis and I would say this is as good and much better than most chains we've tried. Plus they deliver! read more

I don't know what went wrong but they took almost 2hr to deliver the pizza to me. I was very unimpressed! This was the second time eating here. The first time was not good, so we thought we'd try again. Maybe it was an off day. When I went to order, the toppings we wanted we out. Really? ok...so we picked other toppings, ordered salads, and other things. We go to make our salads, and there was hardly anything to make a salad with! We ended up with lettuce, croutons, and dressing. The restaurant was NOT busy. There was one other family inside besides us, yet the tables were not bussed, the pizza and bread sticks took FOREVER! My husband had to actually go and ask if he could grab our pizza that was sitting on the counter getting cold. Although we ordered an XL pizza, it was the same size as our bread sticks (large). When I communicated our frustrations, I was simply told, " oh, sorry". After my husband complained they offered to make another crappy pizza. We were grossed out by the 1st, not taking another one, but thanks. So I asked for our money back. The cashier called the "owner" who gave us a $5 gift certificate for our trouble. What a slap in the face! I spent a lot of money, and all they could do was a $5 gift card, or remake this same crappy pizza? I will NEVER return!
