The pizza here has always been the equal of the other pizza store in town, just different recipes. Not a problem. I placed an order online for delivery. At no time did the site inform me that delivery was not an option today. To be fair, the emailed receipt says "pickup" & I did not look at it until this brouhaha erupted. However... the person in charge was incredibly inflexible and intransigent when attempting to negotiate any sort of resolution. In short, the pizza is fine but the customer service blows chunks. Pizza was about average. We went with a large pepperoni and bacon pizza. Comes with 10 slices which fed 2 adults and 2 kids with a couple of slices leftover. I think it made it a decent value for what you get. You pay per topping. So it came out to about $18. My only complaint was it was a bit salty, I think from the bacon. read more

I was excited to come to Pizza Factory, because there is a Pizza Factory in my hometown, so in other words I rarely see them, and I was missing some "home-like" fast food! Toppings were the basic/usual, however, they did add bacon which was a little different that I am used to but it was still good! The food is not fit for my dogs. As for the service well Chuck and his employees are rude and need to learn that the customers are why they have paychecks. Warm but lacked flavor... Pizza: 3 Stars The mini pizza was average. Nothing great but not bad. Overall I likely would have rated this place 3-4 stars. What made me rate this place with a 1-star review is how they dealt with my incorrect order. I ordered white sauce with my pizza and brought it to the attention of the gentlemen who took my order. He brought it to the attention of the girl who was working the register/phones and asked her, "can you help him?" He promptly walked away as she responded, "can you?" Well, I stood there awkwardly as I was ignored. Gave me enough time to contemplate having them remake my pizza while my wife ate her dinner. Decided to wait at my table and after 5 minutes realized they weren't going to do anything about it. Ate my 3-star pizza with no apology and likely will never return. Went into the pizza factory and paid for my call in take out order...after a few minutes i went up to the counter and tried to buy a sprite for my son..the lady on the phone was chit chatting to a "friend" about her car insurance or something...then she walked off without even acknowledging me...the other lady let me pay for it after she took her phone order...then the same lady that ignored me said my order would be done in 3 minutes...i sat there for 15 minutes and had to go ask if it was ready...it had been sitting on top of the oven for 15 minutes...they never called my name..i saw her look at the order on the oven several times and she made eye contact with me several times...thanks for your great service...i live in winters and will never be going here again...nothing worse than being ignores..made me so mad it ruined my night...thanks again read more

I'll level with you - I have actually driven from Davis and Woodland several times just to come here for pizza. Pizza as delicious as can be. Pizza Factory puts Woodstocks to shame. The slogan speaks true - they're awesome! This place is plenty big, too, and I've never seen it really busy. Good for groups, kids, all that fun stuff. I would imagine it being packed on a game night for Winters HS - but I don't often frequent Winters, so I can't back that up. We have previously enjoyed the generally mediocre experience but last week we ate a veg pie, dropped $29 and my dog wouldn't eat the take home. I am not sure what else needs to be said, my wife simply said "horrible." Horrible it was, floors and bathrooms are not clean, veg was old, "olive oil" was soybean oil. After doing some wine tasting in Winters, my girlfriend and I decided to get dinner at the Pizza Factory. They had an offer for a free order of garlic bread with the purchase of a large pizza, so we ordered a large BBQ chicken pizza. It was nice that the garlic bread was free, because honestly it was underwhelming in taste and I would have been disappointed if I paid for it. The BBQ chicken pizza was overall pretty good. It had a thick and crispy crust, lots of chicken, and a sweet (but not overly so) BBQ sauce. However, the taste was really one-dimensional. It could have used a couple more ingredients like some red onions or maybe a mix of cheeses to create some more variety in the taste. For $20+ for a large, this pizza wasn't worth it. I would rather pay $5 and have the frozen California Pizza Kitchen BBQ chicken pizza. read more

This is the pizza I grew up on and it tastes just as good now. Same building, still have pinball!! The crust, which is how I judge my pizza, it amazing. That's why I always get some cheesy bread! What an awesome place, outstanding brick oven pizza's, with hand tossed dough and all the regular toppings, the best place in all of winters for a birthday party or super bowl games. with plenty of arcades and pinball machine's, and the big screen is the best, open floor plan with high ceilings and it has been recently remodeled. i grew up in this town and there has alway's been a pizza factory, but recently a locall woman purchased the franchise, the new owner Charlie Martinez puts her heart and soul into everything that restaurant puts out. I really cant say enough great things about this wonderful family run place. my favorite is the warrior combo, it's awesome. a definite 5 star in my book read more

Steve D here with another review :-) The place has good pepperoni pizza, and here is how I came to that conclusion: When I can't stop eating it, until I'm stuffed way beyond what I should have eaten, then it's pretty good. What makes this pizza good is the fact that the pepperoni is cooked correctly. I define that as curled up in a concave "cup" shape around the edges, and the edges are burned about 1/16th of the way from the edge inward, and there is a small puddle of oil in the middle. If you don't think that is the key to great pepperoni pizza, go get one of these and try to eat a reasonable amount. It just isn't possible. If you compare this to pizza from a place that puts cheese on top of the pepperoni, keeping it from being cooked correctly, you will know what I mean. The bread sticks are OK. The cup of pizza sauce they give you with it is pretty small and cold. I usually get ranch dressing instead for the bread sticks.. Drinks are a good mix and you get free refills. Silverware is in tubs, you grab your own, and I've never had anything not be clean. The table tops are sticky, but they are big wooden tables and I think it's the clear finish that is sticky. I think they just need to be refinished at some point. Slightly noisy due to the TVs on the walls playing sports, and pinball/video games along one wall. The place is never very crowded except for once in an while when a HS game gets out or something. Staff is friendly and very helpful when you need something like extra plates or a box. Check the pizza factory website, there are usually coupons you can print that will get you three bucks or so off of something, or free breadsticks. read more
