Just moved to the area and we have always loved pizza guys so we decided to try this location out. Ordered it online and went to go pick up. The pizza tasted amazing however, when I went into the store, I was greeted so kindly by a young girl with long black hair and glasses. She was very sweet however, there was another girl working with long blonde hair and a deeper voice, and she was very unfriendly She seemed bossy to the other girl. I was just rude to me. I appreciate the kindness and respect from the other girl. But the blonde girl was just rude for no reason. She snapped at me. Snapped at the other girl. Said they don't have change for my cash I gave. (I didn't give coins, I gave a $10 and a $20). I told her I didn't mind but when the dark haired girl opened the register she said we have change! I've been wanting to try Pizza Guys for a long time. I've had it a few times at work and have liked their different specialty pizzas. I ordered 3 medium pizzas and wings online and was able to find a 25% off coupon code. When I arrived to the store about 15 minutes later my order was already waiting for me. The store has a small waiting area and is geared for delivery or pickup only. The employees were super friendly. They told me about the free 2 liter soda for pick up orders and even honored the Yelp! coupon for free Dreyer's ice cream - double score!! The food was still warm when I brought it home. Everyone really enjoyed the hand tossed New York style pizza. The ingredients were all very fresh and the crust was chewy in the traditional sense which is different from the more airy and light crust that we're used to with Papa John's. Overall our meal was delicious and a great value. We look forward to trying the other specialty pizzas. read more

I haven't ordered pizza guys in a long while and now I remember why. I ordered from here the other day for delivery. I got a text my food was on it's ways about 5 minutes after I ordered it. And I waited for the doorbell or a knock or something and it never came. It had been about a hour at that point so I went and checked the porch. My food was laying on the porch. It was cold so I have no idea how long it was laying there. I have dogs so I know for a fact they didn't knock or ring the doorbell because I have dogs that bark at everything. The pizza was ok but I just wanted my pizza hot. I didn't put in the delivery instructions to just leave it at the door so I don't know why they did. And I also got cheesecake and it was sitting out in about 80 degree weather. Probably won't Order from here again. read more

We get pizza from The Pizza Guys when ever we have a Pizza Party at work. I ordered 5 pizzas off of Yelp for a later pick up @ 7pm accidentally had the pick up time for 12-12:30pm which would not have worked at all since we work Swing Shift. I called the store and the guy Vlad was so kind, and professional and said no problem I can fix that for you! Made the whole experience worth it online. Great pizza and great customer service! The pizza is ok, my son seems to like it, I prefer some other places. I have a problem with their "loyalty " program, it seems nice and all, but are you really rewarding your loyal customers when they can't use it for a delivery on one pizza? Or when you use it and the order would have totaled $40, but you use your points so it only ended up being $16, you don't give the 2 liter soda then, that you offer for free when you spend over $20? I mean really, your pizza isn't that good- Last time, time to move on. I know they're a big chain and I always try and support local, but I wanted to give a shout out to my delivery driver tonight. He brought our food and forgot the sauce. I inquired and he said there was no sauce on the order. I told him you were forced to choose one, so there should be, but it was no big deal. He called back to the kitchen and confirmed that he was mistaken, and promptly drove back and got me the 50 cents worth of sauce and an extra ranch. I am a pizza aficionado, and have eaten pizza at the birthplace of - pizza Napoli, Napoli, and many restaurants in Italy, particularly Naples. If you know Italian pizza, you understand that the American take on it is very different. Here is why Pizza Guys is my go-to American-style pizza: 1) the crusts are very good with the right amount of chew and the right crunch, 2) the sauce isn't ruined by rosemary or oregano (herbs that are almost never found in Italian sauces), 3) no yellow cheese - no way yellow cheese belongs on pizza 4) toppings are high quality and FRESH 5) not gobs of cheese 6) the staff cares about their product and the customer. I can always count on a tasty pizza from Pizza Guys. The staff and management are friendly, courteous and adult. I recommend Pizza Guys to American customers whose palates haven't been corrupted by bad pizza. read more

I needed a pie delivered for our staff meeting. The first place I called (the nearest, and I knew their pizza to be okay) said they don't do their own delivery orders, and directed me to Ubër Eats or Door Dash. No thank you, I'm not signing up for another app. I hate middle men, much prefer dealing direct. Pizza Guys was the next nearest on Yelps list was Pizza Guys. Jessica was cheerful from the second she answered my call, walked me through my order (I hadn't yet pulled up the menu, so she was patient and helpful there too), and the pizza arrived at its scheduled time. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My brother and I ordered an extra large Hawaiian pizza on white sauce. We didn't realize until we got home that the pizza was made on red sauce. We specifically asked for white sauce. When we came to pick up our order, upon paying, we received on our end that payment went through, but the cashier said it didn't on their end. So we paid again, using the same card and again it said approved but no receipt was printed so he said let's try one more time using another card. We paid a 3rd time for this pizza and it showed approved again and on our end but not on theirs. Now we are getting frustrated because we have paid 3 times for pizza and all 3 payments said approved on our end. The cashier started showing attitude and just said "take your free pizza and go, just go take your free pizza". When we got home and called the bank, all 3 payments in fact did go through and we paid over $90 for a pizza that wasn't even prepared right. Now disputing charges with banks. Normally, I always have a decent encounter ordering pizza from this establishment, and even in this location since I have moved to the area. My roomie and I ordered a pizza last night, called in to place the order and I found myself incredibly frustrated as I felt like I was almost being rushed (with an hour to their closing time) by the person taking our order by phone. I gave the phone over to my roommate to complete our order. We were quoted 45-55 minutes they showed up in about 65 minutes- no big. However there was confusion as to whether we were paying with cash or card. Here's my advice to Pizza Guys themselves, when we check leave it on the door there is a reason, my reason is my dog loses it and I have young children. It states leave on door on the top of the receipt. But you will knock on the door repeatedly, linger outside on the curb waiting for us to open the doors, it's kinda a creepy vibe. I had a great pizza delivery experience. I ordered online and paid with credit card online. Their website was very user friendly. They make it very easy to choose what I want as my toppings. There's "Hot Deals" online as well; I went with the 2 for $24 today (2 toppings each, costs additional for more toppings). After placing my order, I'm given an estimated arrival time and my order was delivered 5 minutes before that estimated time. These guys gained my trust. :) On a cold, windy, rainy night, my pizza delivery guy delivered my pizzas still steaming hot. Thanks dude! Really fast delivery! Our first time ordering delivery they forgot our cheese bread, I called and they credited us back the cost of the missing cheese bread. The second time the order was complete, hot and quick delivery! The mushrooms on our pizza kinda tasted dirty, I didn't like that but it was good over all. I enjoyed the salad and cheese bread. I usually order from these pizza guys than any other in town. Game days they're really swamped with people and deliveries but push them out around 20 minutes or so after expecting longer. The quality is great and they put a lot of toppings that you have tons left over. They're not stingy. If something is wrong, they hook you up with a free order usually. I've gotten take out a lot because they give you a free 2 liter or ice cream of your choice and everyone greets you really loud when you come in. They'll even open the pizza and let you inspect it before you take it or they'll fix it if it's not up to your standards. I'm a huge Sacramento kings fan and they have awesome purple kings boxes to cheer them on! They also have an app in the play store and online ordering through their website. Pizza Guys - for about the last 6 months or a year they've been running a 3 topping large special for $10.00. I think they just recently bumped the price up to $12.00 but it's still a heck of a deal. The quality of the food is pretty darn good - fresh crust, fresh veggies, delicious toppings. I just had the most amazing experience with pizza guys in Folsom off East Bidwell! We ordered online and had a problem with it being delivered. The guy on the phone did his job but the coupon was not applying accurately. Havi (the manager) was able to correct and accuratley explain all charges to us.
