    Pizza Guys Combo

I've been wanting to try Pizza Guys for a long time. I've had it a few times at work and have liked their different specialty pizzas. I ordered 3 medium pizzas and wings online and was able to find a 25% off coupon code. When I arrived to the store about 15 minutes later my order was already waiting for me. The store has a small waiting area and is geared for delivery or pickup only. The employees were super friendly. They told me about the free 2 liter soda for pick up orders and even honored the Yelp! coupon for free Dreyer's ice cream - double score!! The food was still warm when I brought it home. Everyone really enjoyed the hand tossed New York style pizza. The ingredients were all very fresh and the crust was chewy in the traditional sense which is different from the more airy and light crust that we're used to with Papa John's. Overall our meal was delicious and a great value. We look forward to trying the other specialty pizzas.

The tomato on the taco pizza was rotten. Too bad. I liked the sausage pizza we got there.

I ordered the Rosa New York style with gluten free cauliflower crust and it has delicious toppings, but the gluten free cauliflower crust is not the best I've had. It is on a more dense side, I wish it was just a bit more crispy on the bottom. The crust is definitely crispy. My boyfriend loves his NY American Combo, especially the fresh grape tomatoes/ the different colored kind! Pies were piping hot and still hot after a 15 minute drive home. Perfect amount of toppings, they did not skimp on the cheese or sauce either. Cauliflower crust was an additional $5. Pizzas came out to a total of $65 or so, quite expensive. They have options to buy by the slice, so you can try all their different options and see what is your favorite! They have New York style, Chicago style and Detroit style. Service was great from the gentleman than helped at the counter. Lots of seating inside and out for a quick eat.

If you don't eat pork don't expect any speciality ready made slices besides cheese. They have so many options, and so many customizations, but if you want any that don't have bacon, pepperoni, or pork sausage , you won't be able to unless you order a whole pizza ahead. The cheese pizza was okay at best, not good enough to go back to. The ambiance is beautiful, with incredible seating, and a clean friendly parking lot is great

Well, that being said we stumbled on Ciros Pizza Cafe. When we first approached the door, we were not sure on if we were able to sit down and eat but after walking inside there was not alot of places to sit, but there was a table that we found that we could sit at. After we looked over the menu several times, we finally decided to order Calzones. I got a customize your own Calzone with Portugese Linguica, Mushrooms and Black Olives and my wife got the Calzone Classic. For our appetizer we ordered the Goofy Stix. Let me tell you, the service at the restaurant was great. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, asking as we sat at our table if we needed anything. We walked to their Soda Fountain and got ourselves drinks. We sat at our table for maybe 5 minutes when they brought out the Goofy Stix. Let me tell you, those were wonderful, Cheesey, Garlicy sticks that when paired with a dipping sauce of your choice, is very delicious. After about 10 minutes they brought out our Calzones and they were hot, and cheesy and as my wife said last night "Not alot of bread but alot more toppings inside" Which was true. Most calzones you eat have way too much breading and not alot of toppings. But in this case it was the other way around. Way more toppings inside the calzone and not alot of bread. The environment of this place is your usual Pizza Parlor and while they did have Tv's on for us to watch, we normally kept to our usual conversations just because we really enjoy each others company. Yeah we did peep out the tv's every now and then just because we were curious what was on their Tv's but after having of visited this place, we told the Staff that we would be back. Thanks Ciros Pizza Cafe for a wonderful experience, great food and very delicious Goofy Stix.

We ate outdoors on a beautiful evening. Service was very good. We had linguini with white clam sauce and chicken parmesan. Both meals came with a nice salad and very tasty garlic bread. I believe I found them thru Yelp while looking around at cities on the way back to SJ. We walked in and easily got a table. The space is pretty big. I was worried I may be too dressed down. I was in athleisure and a comfy sweatshirt, but there were people in shorts and t-shirts, so no real dress code here. Dinner started with a complimentary cheesy kinda garlicky bread. The hubs enjoyed that. The scallops were an app. A lil dry. I think due to the way they seared it. But it was a good size with three scallops. The house salads were a nice intro into our mains. A good portion for a an inclusion. My pasta was huge. Plenty of seafood and sauce. And it was nice and creamy which was what I was craving. The hubs sole was fine. I'm not a huge lemon caper person, but it was a good temp. I don't believe the broccoli was sauteed in anything so it's just seemed veg. I like broccoli by itself, so this was fine with me. Nice impromptu stop on the way home. REVIEW #4038
