They did not disappoint when I asked for my specific order. Extra cheese is a must for me on pizza and they definitely gave me what I wanted. We also tried the halal pepperoni on our pepperoni and mushroom pizza and it made the taste 10 times better for me. I just came from an appointment heading to see Mom and needed to grab a quick bite. OMG, yummmm! First off, I was impressed by how clean this spot was - we've all been to pizza spots that have cheese or flour on their board but when I walked in this place was clean. I walked back to my car after ordering to wait (COVID-19) and when I walked back in they were wiping down the counters and equipment; THANK YOU! The pizza was DELICIOUS - I got half/half, Classic Veggi (no bell) w/Spinach Garlic Chicken for Mom. Mom LOVED the pizza as well and said at least 3 times while eating, this is good, this is so good. Some girlfriends and I ordered delivery from Pizza Guys a few weeks ago. It took 45 minutes to an hour for our pizzas to arrive, when the estimate was 30 minutes. The sauce was ok, but I would've been fine without it. You can tell that it tasted.. fake (if that makes any sense). The toppings were good though. The pizza was good, though it didn't wow me. We got the chipotle chicken and Buffalo chicken. The chipotle chicken had the kinda sauce I described earlier, still really good! The buffalo chicken had bacon, which wasn't in the list of toppings on the menu. I actually preferred this one (after picking off the bacon, and yes, you read that right, I dislike bacon and have no shame about it), it was more flavorful, though the chipotle chicken came at a close second. Would I order from here again? Maybe, if they had a good coupon deal (which is what we used for this order) and I was in the area. But even then, I'd probably choose another place. No offense to Pizza Guys, but for me it was just another pizza place easy to pass up. read more

Check your math when you come here. I think their cash register is over charging on taxes. I ordered a 2 large topping pizza; had a $14.99 special coupon and the total came out to $17.55 Immediately I knew that they wasn't right. I asked for the tax percentage and she stated 8% I told her that if it was 8% the tax should be $1.20. I was not given an itemized receipt that will break the total up (hmmm); makes this more suspicious. Not coming here. I think over charging me was very dishonest. The cashier gave me back $1 cash. I can only imagine how much money they've gotten over on people not checking. Thought I'd post this for the principal, because it's definitely not about the $3 I really hope they fix the tax table in their cash register. read more

They are ok and as for last minute options this is better than most of the chains out there. Pizzas got here in a reasonable time the garlic cheese bread is a favorite for the kids. Pricing is inline with what you are getting and they have been consistent over the years. I am not going to blow this place up for something it is not. I recently ordered through Door Dash and was SUPER hungry and feeling in the mood for Pasta. I looked for Pasta and Pizza Guys in Hayward came up, although apparently there is one in Fremont which is closer to me. Confusing. I ordered the penne with sausage. In the notes, I asked for "spinach and mushroom." About 30 minutes later I get a call from my Dasher saying that they couldn't add any of the mushrooms or the spinach or else the oven would have caught fire. Hm. Interesting. My order came in a cute little box with a foil box full of the pasta and two pieces of garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread was the best part of my order. Hot, chewy, fragrant, and very yummy. I wish I could have just ordered an entire thing of the garlic bread--it was super yummy. However, for the main course, I was very disappointed :( It was basically just penne pasta, lots of tomato sauce, and sausages. There wasn't any flavor besides a really strong acidic tomato paste taste. I ended up leaving my house, buying groceries, going back home and putting it all in a saucepan, adding mozzarella, onions, and spinach to cut the acidity of the pasta. I ended up spending over $25 dollars for a pasta dish that should've just been 7.99. Pretty bummed, and wishing I had lots of garlic bread and zero of the pasta, but alas, you can't always get what you want. read more

I love this pizza guys location the staff is fast and friendly, the food is always great and I love a women owned family run business. My favorite is the cheesy bacon pizza rolls SO GOOD!! They cook them just right so all the dough is cooked inside and out. I strongly recommend adding those cheese bacon pizza rolls to your order you won't regret it. I've been to other pizza guys locations but this Hayward location keeps me coming back! They know how to treat and cook pizza dough really well. read more

They've been my goto pizza place for the past couple years but today's order was no where close to usual standard. The pizza was not as good as usual and the chicken wings was near unacceptable. Just received the worst looking pizza I have ever seen! Do not order pizza from this place! The employees are tampering with the food and eating parts of the orders. Very nasty! When I called the guy admitted to doing this and could not give me an explanation why he did this or where the missing slices were.
