My daughter and I are pizza snobs and we had been traveling and hadn't ate pizza in a week. We stopped here unexpectedly and I wasn't sure which place to choose after so many conflicting reviews. The pizza was great and the online ordering was easy. They delivered it right it our hotel room. It was hot and cooked perfectly. The pepperoni has a little bit of a kick to it and is very good. There's two, maybe three places I would regularly pop in for a pizza of consistent quality and experience, and Pizza Guys is one of them. It's local to home, too, and have tons of coupons, which is a bonus. And for the locals who aren't a delivery sort, they tend to bonus you with a 2-liter of soda pop of your choice. Lots of good varieties. Pizza itself is so-so. I feel like there's not enough sauce in it and isn't hot, just warm. I live literally 1 minute away and had it delivered, it should'n't be just warm. Well I used to be a pizza hut fan and then we moved right next to this place. It was just easier to order pizza from them and have my husband pick it up on his way home from work. (you get a 2 liter soda for picking up your order). We eat pizza once every couple of months and usually are persuaded out of it due to fear of heartburn. I have to admit the heartburn effect is not so strong in their pizza. This is a big deal, because pizza & heartburn are like Siamese twins. I didn't expect much from this pizza place since there are so many out there to choose from. It was a bit of rolling of the dice we thought. I tried the Hawaiian pizza with extra ham and cheese and it was very good. I then looked closer at the pizza and noticed they use very high quality ingredients. I just want to say thank you for not being cheap and putting good quality ingredients on there. I definitely will order from here again. Also what was great about this place was that we live 4 exits away and they still delivered to us. Just wanted to thank the manager Laurie for going above and beyond in the level of customer service. We had a mix up with a pizza order due to city wide curfews and protesting and ended up not being able to have our pizza order delivered in time before the curfew started. Laurie made a point to call us the next day and let us know that we had been refunded and offered complimentary pizza for our inconvenience. She was professional, sweet and very helpful. Had a great experience when I returned to this store after a while. The store mgr had noted in their system that my previous order (several months ago) had some issues. They made up by charging me medium pizza price for my large pizza order this time. My order was correct and I felt their pizza had more generous portions of ingredients compared to other pizzas we've tried from chains and local restaurants. Easy to order online. Delivery was fast. Pizza was made as ordered, and pretty good. Crust was a little thin and soft, and taste was just ok. But the value was really good compared to mountain mikes. We love our Pizza Guys! My family orders from this location once or twice a month. While it isn't my favorite pizza (I am not much of a pizza lover though), my kids and hubby love it. What I absolutely adore about this place is their amazing customer service. The quality of the food is good, errors are rarely made on orders, delivery is within the estimated delivery time, etc. When we last ordered, they made an error on the order. My son can't eat red sauce due to an intolerance to tomatoes. His cheese pizza came with red sauce on it. The pizza was supposed to last for two meals, so I decided to call and ask if we could get a replacement. When I spoke with the person who answered the phone, they seemed to already have an idea what the issue was, immediately offered to send a replacement pizza, checked to make sure my son didn't have an allergy (actually offered to cut the pizza on a clean board with a clean knife), and assured me it was no trouble to make it right. Not only the manager (Jim?) did not apologize, he said it was out of his control and I was wrong for ordering online, pick up is always recommended. Pizza Guys is my hands-down local favorite - I never order pizza anywhere else anymore. They use a good balance of ingredients that taste fresh, and it's not overly greasy (just enough to be delicious). The cheesy garlic bread is very decadent, with garlic cream sauce under the cheese. (You can even get the garlic cream sauce in lieu of tomato sauce on the pizza, but that's a bit too much for me.) Their delivery service has been extremely reliable, even last New Year's Eve evening when lots of other places were closed. If you pick up your order instead, you get a free 2-liter of pop. They offer on-line ordering for either pickup or delivery, which has worked flawlessly for me so far. You can even leave the tip online with a credit card, so you can order delivery even if you have zero cash on you. Coupons are easy to find in the weekly mailers, or if you're ordering online, they are posted on the web site; you just enter the coupon's three-digit code to apply it. read more
