Wow. I never tried this place. I'm a round table guy. But there prices have gone up so high. I cant afford them. In the Nextdoor app. Someone talked about this place. So I gave them a try. To my pleasant surprise the family was delighted and my pocketbook did not cry or whimper their prices were very reasonable and their cheesy bread was off the hook got only where their price is good but I ended up getting a free 2leter soda out of the deal. There are a lot of pizza spots in Modesto and I've tried many of them, none of them come even close to Pizza Guys. Their garlic sauce supreme pizza is a household favorite and something we get many weekends a month. My favorite part of Pizza Guys is their attention to detail. I have a severe tomato allergy and because they know that they always package the marinara sauce my family gets for the breadsticks separately wrapped in plastic. During the height of covid they also packaged their pizza in a plastic bag that was sealed until you were able to open it. Great pizza, great service, an all around great experience. read more

I have been wondering about this location for about a month now. Has this location changed hands or management? The last time I was there I ordered boneless chicken wings and what I ended up with looked like round little meatballs covered with some type of seasoning which did not even taste like chicken. To boot the bbq sauce was in a different container and not on the so-called boneless chicken wings. I know I should've called to inquire about my order but time slipped by. I was visiting my folks in Modesto and we wanted to chill and order pizza. Not a fan of RoundTable, I found Pizza Guys on Yelp and was glad I could make a quick order online. I did so and it arrived just about 25 minutes later, all piping hot. The pizza was really good and the cheesebread was awesome. The dipping sauces I had ordered on the side were all there, and were a good size, too. Plenty for three people to share. Joe and I were wanting pizza. We both love thin crust, so we started looking on Yelp to find a place. Joe found Pizza Guys and told me to take a look. I am sooooo glad we chose Pizza Guys! Best pizza we've had! We ordered the Pizza Guys combo on a thin crust and an order of sweet bbq wings. That first bite of the pizza, I got a piece of sausage that was the most juiciest sausage on a pizza ever! The veggies were cooked perfectly, not soggy, limpy or under cooked. The other day I ordered the Loaded Cheezee Bacon Potato Bowl for the 2nd time because it is sooooo yummy. Haven't tasted my pizza yet. Just ordered it from Mario. He's the most friendliest & happiest cashier. He's so polite & helpful also very thoughtful. He greated each customer that walked in with a smile. He up sold me the cheesy garlic bread which I bought just because he's so nice. He is a great person to hire it when you have a business. Worst crust ever. It must have been old because it was soggy in the middle and so chewy on the edges it stuck in my teeth. The outside 3" was almost unchewable and the inside, no matter how we tried, never got crispy or even resembled cooked. What was really funny too was that not one single piece was cut all the way through. Only about 2" of the edge was cut, you could pick the pizza up whole. It's a bummer about the crust because the flavor of the pizza was just what we wanted. I love leftover cold pizza but this one was so bad, it had to be thrown out. Red sauce could use a touch more seasoning, but that is my only critique. The artichoke fiesta had a wonderful garlic white sauce (trying this one was a risk, as traditionally I don't much care for white sauce). The pizza is good for it's price. No complaints there. This review is for the customer service, which leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered two pizzas today and they put the toppings for the second pizza onto the first pizza and delivered one. When I told them about the mistake I was handed the phone by the delivery driver and talked to the manager. Not only did this conversation seriously take about 10 minutes but they didn't offer to do anything to make it up. They seriously wanted to charge me full price for 2 pizzas and let me wait 30 min for the second. I am not difficult to please, so anything would have been nice. I had to ask for something to make up for their mistake and she gave me 15% off. Kind of lame. She sent the second pizza delivery guy with a second receipt for me to sign for $5.99. I mean come on.
