Excellent pizza and good friendly service. I've learned over the years the way you can test a pizza place is by getting its classic pepperoni, if you finish it's crust, and the dough freshness. This passed on all those. I got the small half deluxe and half pepperoni on white sauce. Was ready in about 10min, was piping hot so it was delicious with nice freshly tasting ingredients, crispy dough and pepperoni, stretchy cheese, flavorful vegetables and really good Italian sausage. They had some crumbs of Parmesan cheese especially around the crust that made it have that little extra mmm mm. I like that it wasn't too thin of a pizza and not too thick either, was just right. Clean fresh sanitized restrooms, nice seating inside and outside larger table for bigger groups. Definitely recommended. read more

Amazing staff, by the time I place my order and wait a few minutes the pizza is usually done. That oven is super quick, usually 15 minutes from the start of the order. If ordering on Halloween, place your order super early as they are swamped but they do their best to accomodate. I am ordering around around 3:00 next time and will warm it up when I am ready to eat this Halloween. read more

I've been here twice now and both times have been good. I got the special both times- medium 1 topping pizza for $6.99 + tax. I always get the old world pepperoni and it's worth it to feed me for dinner and lunch. They have other toppings as well such as regular pepperoni, sausage, chicken, etc. But I cannot pass up the crispy pepperoni cups. They also included garlic dipping sauce and marinara sauce since I requested them (free of charge), and parmesan cheese packets. So it made the deal even better. Marcos is located in the same parking lot as Lowe's so it's not hard to find. The service has been great and when I put in my order, they usually have it ready within 10 minutes. They do online ordering as well (that's how I've been putting in my orders). If you're hungry for pizza, this place will hit the spot. It's not the best pizza, but it's decent and for $6.99, you can feed a family and definitely worth it. Go check it out. read more

I have always wanted to try this place since my nickname is "Marco", it's like my pizza spot! But there aren't that many locations in our area. The commercials on tv are always running but there are no locations!!When I finally saw one in person, I had to drop everything and try it. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The dough/crust was sensational. The flavor of the toppings was comparable to Dominos or even Round Table (if you are familiar with the chain). You can taste the love overall that these pies were prepared with. There was a special going on for $6.99 one topping medium pizza which was so absurd I had to buy one. This earns a pizza here with the price of Little Caesar's but with the flavor of Round Table. Truly, a pizza masterpiece. They were prepared in under 10 minutes and the staff was helpful with the selection, being it was my first time there. I am definitely going to make the trip out here to get another pizza. I noticed Marco's Pizza was a new pizza restaurant that opened in the Southport area, and I wanted to check it out. I read some of the reviews, and it sounded like most of the issues were from the grand opening. I came in on a weekday evening, and it was not too busy. There was plenty of seating inside and outside of the restaurant. There is a patio outside to enjoy the nice weather. I brought my puppy and it was great to have the puppy in the patio. One of the workers also brought out a water bowl for my puppy. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni pizza and 10 pieces of chicken wings. I ordered the thin crust after reading the reviews about the pizza having too much crust. The pizza came out pretty quick and it was nice and hot. The wings also came out hot and I chose a side of jalapeno ranch to dip the wings. I enjoyed the pizza and I am sticking to ordering the thin crust pizza from now on. I am not a big fan of crust. The wings were too saucy for me, but that's a personal preference. I will have to order it with the hot sauce on the side next time. The staff was attentive and made sure I had plates, napkins etc. Overall, this pizza restaurant is a great addition to the area. My brother tried this place the day before and mentioned how great it was so I thought why not try it again for him but a first timer for my mother and I? We ordered an XL half customized pie - half Hawaiian and combo (whatever is on a Costco pizza combo hahaha, tried to mimic it) It was great, the crust was very fluffy which I'm a fan of and I don't usually like to eat the crust off of pizzas. I preferred the Hawaiian more than the combo, but that's just a personal preference. I also scored a discount online before ordering so that's a huge plus! Food is always great. Me and my wife have gone multiple times over the last year and never had any issues. Have ordered many things from pre built pizzas, to build your own, both dessert options, pizzoli and bread sticks. All were delicious. Staff are usually friendly, have even gotten to know a few of the workers. It is always cold inside, if you run cold I would suggest bringing a sweater. If you happen to be in west sac and craving pizza, I would suggest walking in and enjoying some good pizza! read more

I've Been very disappointed with Marcos our past few visits. When it first opened, the service was great. But it has been downhill the past few months. About a month ago, we ordered the cheesy bread. When we got home, the dough looked flat as if they didn't put yeast in it. When we called the store back, they acknowledged they had a problem with their dough, but didn't seem to rectify the situation. When I called back the next day to inform the owner, she gave me a $20 credit towards our next purchase. Last week, we went to cash in on that credit. We placed the order via telephone. It took almost 5 min for the person to answer. Once we placed the order, they said it'd take 30 min for pickup. 30 min later we went to the establishment. When we got there, it was chaos behind the counter and in the kitchen. There were 10 kids working back there, and a lack of organization to their process. The phone was ringing off the hook with no one seeming to care to answer. When we got to the counter, they said it's be 5 more min. 5 min later, they said it'd be 5 more min. This went on for 20 min. We finally paid as we thought our food was coming out of the oven. As the staff were scrambling to find our pizzas and ticket, I asked what was going on, and they said they just put the pizza in the over. This was over an hour after we placed our order. I don't blame the kids that we're working. I blame the owner, as there didn't seem to be anyone in charge there. This was a busy Friday night, and the lack of ownership presence was evident. While I enjoy their pizza. I will not be going back until ownership changes. read more

Little Caesar's quality pizza for triple the price. Avoid this place. No reason to go here when round table and papa murphy's are nearby and a store bought frozen pizza taste twice as good for half the price. Pepperoni pizza was just nasty - all ingredients just taste cheap as possible and it was so greasy the crust and bottom of the pizza was soggy and wet. There was a coupon on the Marco's Pizza website for 8.99 for a large two-topping pizza and when I tried to use it they said the West Sac location doesn't honor the deals listed online. Their deal was 14.99 for a large one topping pizza LOL. To be honest Even with the coupon the pizza was nasty and not worth it. I especially do not like how whoever owns this location is too stingy and greedy to offer the company's coupons listed on the website. That is insane. After a long day,, didnt feel like cooking and took the easy way out - ordered some pizzas to be delivered. We were all exhausted and starving!! Placed an order for delivery at 9:25pm. (Their app says they close at 10:30pm) Received a confirmation email and tracked the order on their app. Expected delivery at 10:05pm. Drove from Elk Grove to West Sac to give this place a try. We have been seeing commercials almost daily so why not try this place out. Took about 40 minutes due to traffic but I will say the quality and ingredients in the pizza made it worth the drive. The downside is the fountain drinks are terrible. The Pepsi taste like dish water mixed with a faint splash of root bear and the lemonade is just water with no lemon flavor and the gentleman (I'm being nice calling them that) were poor at customer service. The floors were sticky and there are pizza boxes piled on tables which makes it confusing whether we can dine in or not. When asking if it was ok to eat inside the answer was yes in a snotty way. We had to ask for plates and napkins and that seemed to be a difficult task for the gentleman who served us. Regardless of the staff we will be back, but maybe to a different location. read more

Pizza arrived after an hour and 5 minutes, when I called , I was put on hold for 22 minutes. They can't handle a busy service.

We ordered a large deluxe pizza and two medium one topping pizzas. The two medium one topping pizzas were both pepperoni. I was pretty disappointed in the pizza in the sense that we asked for pepperoni and some slices didn't even have pepperoni. The slices that did have pepperoni had like one to two pepperonis. If I order pizza here I will just stick to their special pizzas and not their medium one topping pizzas. read more

Nothing like RT pizza. The crust is fluffy and was cooked all the way. There was a lot of cheese and I would have preferred more ingredients and the mushroom be more cooked than fresh/wet. I did not know what to expect really but now Ill he able to order more precisely. They do not have artichokes... that's kinda off putting. Last Thursday was my first time eating their pizza. I'll order again when Im craving gluten and dairy. It was comfort food and likely will replace RT pizza for me. Ordered: deluxe pizza and veggie with white sauce. Delivery arrived at 40 mins.
