I wasn't with him when he ordered, so not sure if this was for pickup or delivery. I was busy, so he ate first, but I had the pizza later. The hubby had it for a late dinner. I believe we got The Big Daddy: x-large, thick crust pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni ($22). From the receipt the total with tax was $24.06, so that sounds right. The crust was thick and chewy. There was a good amount of toppings. Honestly, it kinda reminded me of Costco's pepperoni pizza, but should hit the spot if craving a pie. And the pricing isn't too bad for an xl pizza. I used to love this location but no longer do after today's experience. I placed an order for a large Mo' Meat, medium Tuscan garlic chicken and cheese pepperoni rolls. I wasn't home when it was delivered so my family started eating the pizza. I go check it and find out the large is a pepperoni not a Mo' Meat. I call Pizza Guys and the guy says I'm sorry I must've mixed them up. He asked if I wanted a small discount for next time or another pizza. I said another pizza. He asked what name to put it under after I had just told him my name. Asked it if I wanted it delivered or pick up. I agree to pick up. Then he says the $20 and some change. I said excuse me you messed up and now are charging me for the pizza and if I didn't choose that a small discount for the next time. Basically it would be $3 off from the original price. He said oh well I'll go talk to my manager. I said no forget it. I will no longer give business to this location if this is the way customers are treated when you mess up an order. read more

This is my family go to for pizza in the area. Most times the pizza is great. I normally do not like to leave bad reviews but this time i had to. I had ordered a large pizza for my 6 and 4 year old daughters for dinner. When i brought it home and ate with my wife and two little girls we noticed the pizza was burnt. I don't normally inspect the pizza before i go home since this has never happened anywhere before. It is not acceptable to sell a burnt pizza to a family. If the cook notices its burnt it should never be sold and a new one should be made for your customer. You never know who will be eating your pizza. My girls were really excited for pizza but settled with burnt pizza and me taking the burnt toppings off by hand so they can eat. read more

DON'T order through the app. If you order through the app it says locations, doesn't show a map of locations. Then when you check out it is supposed to sent a verification text and it doesn't. You get a text saying "Your Pizza Guys order is ready for pick up." It doesn't say location so if you didn't notate the address than you. We were craving stuffed crust pizza and this was the only place open that had stuffed crust. So we ordered and came up to Gilroy. The website is glitchy because I selected 2 times stuffed crust pizza. I get there to pick up and told them I ordered through the webpage stuffed crust and they showed me it didn't have stuffed crust. So if you want what you order... call, dont use the webpage that needs IT attention. We ordered garlic rolls and we gobbled those up those were very tasty. We have been ordering pizza here for the better part of a year once a month. Everything is expensive nowadays, but we spend around $100 plus tip each time for 2 pizzas. The last time we ordered, it was apparent they'd changed their "signature crust" to a cheaper, tasteless one. Crust is still a part of the pizza and a lousy one downgrades the final product. The price certainly hasn't decreased with the quality, so we'll be going elsewhere. read more

I can't lie and say this is the best pizza ever, but when you include value, convenience, efficiency and taste this is a 5 star establishment. I placed my order the old fashion way - over the phone. I was torn between a couple specialty pizzas and of course the order taker reminds me about half/half. What a perfect Ying and Yang of a pizza as I ordered the Fireworks and the Creamy Chicken Pesto. My favorite is the spiciness of the Fireworks. It's just the right amount of spicy level and this is coming from a habanero spicy person. The contrast to spicy is the mild and white sauce based chicken pesto. I can't really taste the pesto but it could be because I just ate the spicy one. They're so different that I feel like I'm eating 2 different pizzas. It's great because now I know I'll be back to order the Fireworks and next time I'm going to add their Signature cheese filled crust. I love how they tell you when your order is ready with a text message. If you're in the area, you can shop at grocery outlet next door. Oscar took my order over the phone. He's very courteous and pleasant sounding. He asked for my contact info and I received a text message immediately! I ordered a large combo to be ready at a specific time. Fast forward a bit, I got a text message 3 minutes before the designated time! I picked up my pizza, took it home, and started eating. My bad, I didn't think of taking a photo so below reflects what was left! It was really good, but I think the sauce needed a bit of a punch. A dash more of oregano, some salt, maybe pepper would have helped... In retrospect, perhaps I could have added some parmesan, which would have helped. And for the price point and quick service, it's definitely somewhere I will be frequently ordering from whenever I'm craving pizza or wings! We built a personal pizza since we weren't too hungry and just wanted a couple of bites to try. The crust is not thick like Chicago, and not thin like New York, somewhere in between. And it's so fluffy! If I could compare it to a thickness of another pizza I would say maybe BJ's pizza? I love their tomato sauce. It's full of flavor! We topped ours with pepperoni and anchovies. We also ordered the buffalo wings which were incredibly juicy with lots of meat on it! I'm a huge fan of their wings and I love that they don't skimp on the Frank's hot sauce. So for a tiny establishment it amazes me how quick their service is. It's pretty much the same price as everywhere else and the location is convenient. It's nice to have an option as dominos, round table and mountain mikes have been all we could choose from for years around our neighborhood. I hope these guys are giving them a run for their money! Pizza Guys restaurant is the best-kept secret. How did I not know about this place? Their pizza is flawless. The crust is perfect. I chose the thick crust option and found it to be just the right thickness. It was flavorful and crispy, yet it was soft inside. Their pizza sauce had the right amount of spice. I found the toppings to be plentiful but not overdone. I ordered sausage, green olives, and mushrooms as my toppings. The sausage was flavorful and tender. I highly recommend their pizza. Additionally, I ordered their lemon pepper wings. They were cooked to perfection. Pizza Guy's wings were succulent, moist, and not greasy. I had given up ordering wings because of the bad experiences I had had with Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings. The worst is Wingstop's wings. Every time I received my order, the wings were sitting in at least 1/2 inch of oil in the basket that they serve their wings. Buffalo Wild Wings were greasy and flavorless. I used to go all the way to the location on Cherry Ave. I'm so glad this new Santa Teresa location opened up a few months ago since it is so much closer for me. I order from here every weekend for family pizza night. The pizza and service has been consistently good, never any issues. The Tuscan thin crust is nice and crispy but still holds up really well. It's not too greasy at all. I really liked the diced tomato on top, it added a nice freshness element that I didn't expect.
