    Pepperoni Pizza

Never really had an issue with this location... until yesterday. I ordered 4 pizzas in total. All were dry, with many missing spots of marinara and cheese, leaving the dough exposed. Stuffed crust pizza had very little cheese in the crust. We actually threw a whole pizza away.

such a good and delish value!

Hadn't eaten this place since I was a kid until we recently ordered the giant box of goodies and I was pleasantly surprised! We got this whole thing for around $25 - 2 pizzas, cheesy breadsticks, and wings! The two of us ate on it for multiple days, it was such a good value. Giving this place 4/5 due to the next order we made from here - the mozzarella bite crust pizza on all the commercials right now. I don't know if we got a bad one or what, but it looked NOTHING like the commercial lol. I know that's the typical commercial vs. reality complaint, but what was delivered wasn't even close to what you see on TV. I think the bites were overcooked. The cheese inside wasn't runny like it should be and the breading was waaay thicker than it should have been. Order the boxed deal, not what you see on TV!

I was craving a classic pan cheese pizza one day and ordered one online. They ever have a little pick up from window option online which was super convenient. The pizza was how I remembered it when I was a child. I have memories of going to this sit down establishment back when all the pizza huts used to be built and sharp like a red hut. Those family sit down meal days are over now. It's pick up not friends!

I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House

I will gladly and without hesitation put Canyon City Barbeque up there as some of the best Barbeque I have ever had in my life. When I say I dream of their Barbeque, I mean it. Just writing this review my mouth is salivating as I think back on the food. We ordered the Canyon City Sampler, and it is without a doubt the way to go if it's your first time. It was enough meat for 3 hungry adults with leftovers. The sampler let us to try every cut of meat they had, and every cut is barbecued to the highest level of quality for the cut. The brisket and ribs were our personal favorites. I was also blown away by how perfect the chicken was. Every side is pure deliciousness. Don't sleep on the cornbread. I wish we would've ordered even more. The texture is perfect. Crisp crunch on the outside and perfect moisture on the inside. The way cornbread should be. The Mac and cheese and coleslaw were absolutely delicious as well. We all wish we would've bought some of their Barbeque sauce to take home. They have 2 main sauces, one for pork and one for beef. I would happily drown myself in either. Our server was very polite, attentive, and made amazing recommendations (though I'm now convinced I could close my eyes, point at the menu, and be a happy camper lol) I seldom have reason to be in the area, but I now will be looking forward to making a trip back to specifically to grab some Canyon City Barbeque.

I ordered the all day special for $23.99. Includes 1 chicken leg quarter, choice of 2 beef ribs or 4 pork ribs with choice of 2 sides and a roll. I chose the beef ribs! Not many restaurants have beef ribs on weekdays. These ribs were not dinosaur bones, but did the trick. I can get pork ribs anywhere, but to get beef ribs any day of the week? My kind of place! Meats were delicious and tender and covered with BBQ sauce. BBQ sauce was tangy and they have squeeze bottles of it to have at your table. Loved the mash potatoes and rice.

My boys became somewhat addicted to the Box Combo with fresh lemonade over the past couple of years. After every soccer or baseball game I'd swing by and treat them to a meal. We'd easily spend over $100 per week here. Yeah, it ain't cheap! About 2 weeks ago I ordered their regular fare at the drive-thru and headed home. After the boys finished their meals I cleaned up after them. When I checked to see if they had finished their drinks, I noticed something unusual at the bottom of one of the cups. When I pulled off the lid for a closer look I noticed wings on a tiny insect. I inspected the other cup and saw what looked like a small piece of pulp, which I assumed was from the fresh squeezed lemonade. As a courtesy to our favorite eatery, I called Cane's to alert them to this issue. When I relayed my reason for calling and asked to speak to the supervisor in charge I was informed they were unavailable but I could call back the next day. I suggested it would be better for the location manager to call me, and left my name and phone number. I saved the drink cups on my kitchen counter overnight so I could have them handy when the Cane's manager returned my call. The next morning I was disgusted to see several small bugs now crawling around the lid of the cup that had what I thought was pulp. The "pulp" was more likely a birthing sac for these winged bugs! So, I now count the minutes for the call from Cane's so I can share my disgust. Problem is, they never called. Gee, thanks. So fast forward 2 weeks and the memory of that incident is fading when my boys beg to go to Cane's after their ballgame. Yes, this is clearly an addiction. Since they both played great that day I put aside my disgust from our previous visit and get them their usual Box Combo only this time with a Dr. Pepper since I don't want to go near the lemonade again. Ok, here's where it gets absolutely F'd up. After they are done eating I clean up. What do I see at the bottom of the Dr. Pepper cup? You don't want to know!! I call Cane's and demand to speak to the GM. I am told to hold for Marguerite. When I express my concerns she assures me they keep everything clean. I insist on meeting with her asap to show her what "clean" is NOT supposed to look like. I meet her 2 days later on a Saturday morning and show her all the cups, which I held onto just so she could see what my kids had been served up. It's one thing to hear these incidents on the phone but entirely different when you actually see the disgusting proof. She seemed unfazed and asked me, "what would you like me yo do?" I informed her that I shared my experience as a courtesy, the kind of courtesy you extend to a loyal, faithful, long time friend. I suggested she inspect her chain of supplies from the fresh lemonade, paper cup storage, and ice dispenser. Two separate incidents with BUGS in my order is unacceptable. As much as my kids love Cane's in Azusa, we can never go back. With Options right across the street like Chic-Fil-A, Panera Bread, Popeyes, In & Out, Panda Express, The Habit, Cava, etc you must earn our trust and loyalty. That's right Cane's... we buggin' out!! ‍ Do better. Or not.
