Yes I paid with cash and how do you think a business will do if the credit card system goes down even for a few hours? The food was great which is why I'm not giving it one star. What made the experience bad was the way we were rudely treated by the staff during the curbside pick up. The female employee rudely yelled at us saying we needed to park only three cars away from the restaurant when we were probably parked four or five cars away due to the limited parking. Nowhere online or on the phone were we told this. She just handed us our pizzas then walked away. I get it, it's tough to work during these times, I'm working too, but that's no excuse to treat customers still supporting your franchise badly. They have a special for there large pizza, $10.99 with three toppings the pizza was all wrong. We wanted half cheese, and half three topping. Only two pizza joints in Mililani I will patronize, and this is one of them. If I need an oilier, criper crust then this is the one. I get emailed the specials all the time so it's easy to get drawn in. Since it's right in the Town Center next to Zippys, the parking can be crowded. Either circle around til someone leaves or stretch those legs! The store itself is tiny, only enough room for a couple of waiting chairs. No dining in here. I do appreciate the screen to see wait times and orders. Gives some sense of hope for the ones that are on a time crunch. Well, usually this Pizza Hut is pretty terrible. I'll admit I stopped getting pizza from here because they dropped the ball so many times and had a significantly rude employee. That being said, I feel like their management team is making huge strides to fix their issues. Today I accidentally ordered a pizza for carryout (which I never do) and I was wondering where it was. So, I called and found out it was for carryout. The manager himself drove the Pizza to my house. Although it was 45 minutes 'late' do to my poor internet skills, he took the time to immediately drive it over. I could have probably been a pain in the ass and got a completely new order and tried to blame their website until they gave in and gave me another, but I didn't. The drivers are nice, the food is always great, and my order is normally delivered within the estimated time. This time, I added an order of fries my normal order. When I opened the boxes, the fries were Missing. So I called 643-1111 to express my concern and ask to have my fries delivered right away. I was connected to a manager at the Mililani store, it was a female, and she told me that they were too busy to deliver my fries. Which is understandable, because it was the middle of the dinner rush I guess. So she instead offered me an $8 credit for my next order, useable at any location. Knowing that the fries were only $5, I thought that was a pretty good deal, so i was totally ok with this. 1 month later, I called to order Pizza Hut and wanted to apply my $8 credit to my order. The lady on the phone told me that I had no credit. I told her what happened on my last order and assured her that the manager gave me a credit. She accused me of lying, so she connected me to the Mililani store. They also said that I had no credit and they could not honor it. I was very upset and ordered from dominos instead. I still order from Pizza Hut, but this is very concerning that they couldn't honor a credit that was promised to me. As a past restaurant manager, I would've just given it to the customer if they said that was promised to them, especially if it was a regular customer... SMH Pizza Hut. You could've had a 5-star review from me, but instead you get 1-star. Update: I went to Pizza Hut to pick up my Carry-out order. 11/9/19 This place is inconsistent. Last time I ordered half marinara sauce and half garlic Parmesan and there was no problem. This time when I went to pick up my pizza they told me they can't do half and half with the sauce and they made it all garlic parmesan. - without even calling to let me know because had they called I would've asked for all marinara since my husband doesn't like white sauce on his pizza. Often the order takes longer than the promised time but this recent visit it was a half hour later than the promised time (hour after ordering). Wouldn't have been so bad if they would at least provide updates on cause for the delay. I did curbside pickup which is also confusing because not sure if I should go in to check. I prefer Pizza Hut over other pizza chains. This store in particular is pretty convenient being in the backside of towncenter so it's definitely less crowded. It is a small store not ideal for dining in at all. They are always pretty fast and pizzas tastes delicious. Sometimes if they mess up your order the make you another correct one and give you the mistake one for free! He told it would be a 'just a few minutes and someone will be right out'. Well... after 30 minutes, had to walk in to get the pizza. Spoke to the manager and gave my complaint. Very small Pizza Hut, this is a carry-out or phone order location. Located right next to zippys, this Pizza Hut has been here forever! Very nice service and excellent deals! There is even a small tv screen next to the drinks section, where it tells you how much longer your pizza is gonna take and a estimated time for completion. I highly recommend you come to this location and not the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut location that is near Burger King and the Library. Did not really care for their customer service and I got food poisoning there a few years ago. Haven't gone back since. Anyway, back to this location. The drinks are very overly price! $1.99 for a bottle of water and around $3.50 for a two liter soda!! Before coming in, buy from either Walmart or from Longs.
