Best Pizza around. Best cheese sauce around. Limited to what I can chew, this tender pizza is perfect for me.

Ordered the Deluxe Special for Carry Out and asked for banana peppers instead of green peppers and was charged extra. Really? Was told 15-20 mins, took over 30 mins. Custumers who came in after we ordered, eating in, received their pizza before we did. Pizza is subpar at best and we had to re-cut it. Won't be returning. Only went because huband said Pizza King in Greenwood was great. Apparently this one is not. I guess it's a good place to take kids for the train. read more

Got here and no one was around to greet us, sat down at the table, no one informed us the order button was not working, so I pushed it 5 times, then the waitress came around to inform us of that, the change machine wasnt working, the little claw machine wasnt working ... this Place is going downhill! I love this place. Went there as a kid and definitely have the nostalgia aspect but there's just something about their pizza that is sooooo good to me. Love the whole train theme and the train that brings you your drink if you dine in. Definitely recommend. read more

So I wonder if this is a real pizza king. I say that only because I couldn't find this location on the pizza king website. And their bread sticks are different. Nevertheless, the sub sandwich was good but the cheese was slightly different than what I'm used to. I hate to see this pizza king get bad reviews! This first time I came to this location a few years back, it was an honest three star. My recent visit was nothing compared to past experiences! The menu has improved...giving more choice besides the good old pizza and sandwiches. They have a a handful of wraps and salads that are filling and delicious. I was also surprised by the beer options. They have some basics, but they also have a few local Beers. I give props to restaurants who support local breweries. The whole restaurant and overall experience was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful with describing menu choices. Our booth was clean...the tv was an added bonus, and the train brought our drinks!! I will defiantly return to this location. read more

I can honestly say a family of four ate all they wanted for $20. That's not a compliment. We've had good Pizza Kings before, and good Pizza Kings are great. This isn't a good Pizza King. The pizzas are unnecessarily greasy, tomato sauce is ... off, lunchmeat on submarine sandwich (normally a PK signature) tasted cheap, breadsticks were bizarre. I thought this was an actual pizza king chain but the food did not compare at all. The prices are definitely to high for the quality. The breadsticks were basically concession stand breadsticks and the pizza tasted like elementary school cafeteria pizza. read more

Adorable concept with the trains delivering to each booth. My 2 1/2 yo son loved watching the train pass-- they sent it around with toys on it. It delivered our drinks but not the food. Only gets 3 starts cuz the food is not very good, even if my son gave his sausage pizza a "yummy in my tummy" review. I ordered a Stromboli w pepperoni, but it was more like a sub sandwich w lots of that finely crumbled sausage, barely any cheese, and so little pepperoni I had to ask if I got the right order. Fair. The crust was excellent. Not enough sauce on the pizza. Toppings where enough. The lack of sauce made for a dry flavorless pizza. Overall this Pizza King rates lower than other Pizza Kings. *** Warning, this Pizza King is affiliated with the Lafayette Corp that allows them to charge what ever they want to for their food so do not expect the same prices as the regular Muncie Pizza Kings that advertise their Menu online. I paid $12.79 for a 10 inch Royal Feast at the Cumberland location the week before. I was closer to the Bluff Road location and decided to order from them for carry out not knowing there are two different types of Pizza Kings, I ordered (2) 10 inch pizzas and was charged $13.25 for a cheese pizza and then they added $7.00 each for what they call the Deluxe Specialty for a total of $20.25 per pizza. Total bill for (2) 10 inch pies was $40.50 without taxes and what I consider a complete rip off compared to the Muncie affiliated that advertises their prices openly online. My sister and I have been coming here for many years and for the past 3 times we've came in it's been around 830-9pm and they close at 10. The manager that works at nights makes a comment loud enough we can hear out in the lobby every time we arrive. The customer service is terrible for a business that is trying to rebuild. I am not sure what happened... They had the perfect pizza recipe, the perfect setup...who doesn't love receiving their drinks via a choo choo train?!? Past tense speaking. Our waitress was extremely rude and carried no personal skills what so ever. I was there with three of my nieces + nephews and the wait time for service, extra napkins, refills was completely offensive for being one of two sets of customers in the place. We nibbled on a salad, medium pepperoni pizza, and had every intention of trying the fresh baked cookies which were advertised in our booth. The pizza was mediocre, the salad had one third of brown lettuce pieces, and they only had one type of cookie of the five described by our waitress. Pretty good thin crust pizzas and breadsticks. The smaller pizzas tend to come out better. Everything is really greasy. There is a train that brings your drinks to you. The service is really slow, we waited about 5 minutes to be taken to our seat and then another 10 before our waiter ever showed up- this was with a near empty restaurant too. Really enjoyed ourselves here! We noticed the parking lot seemed a bit empty but we tried it anyway and I'm glad we did. It's been a long time since we have gone to a Pizza King that still had the train. The food was great and the service was good too. They have taken out the video games but the tv is still at each booth. I'll definitely be coming back. I would say that they have really turned things around for the better. read more

Pizza King is my FAVORITE pizza. I grew up in northern Indiana with Pizza King and we even had a Pizza King in our little home town. Everywhere I have lived in Indiana, I seek out the nearest Pizza King. Most get how a Pizza King pizza is made and what is required. This location does NOT know how to make a Pizza King pizza correctly. Pizza King pizzas should have meat MOUNDED on the pizza...not small amounts of meat where you wonder if you got meat at all. This location also does not put enough pizza sauce on their pizza. We asked for extra sauce on our last visit and there was no extra...some pieces did not even have sauce. Dry...dry...dry. We go because our youngest LOVES the train but we told him, this is the last time. We can hit the Pizza King in Mooresville, IN because it's closer and they make the Pizza King pizza right. read more

So yea, this PK is a little outdated and has the rail cars that deliver drinks and stuff and they have a couple retro video games....but uhh thats why i like it! Its usually not busy either. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. My family came to support my sons school as it was a PTA night where a percentage of the check would go. We waited 30 minutes for the waitress to make her way back after greeting us and getting our drink order then waited another 35 minutes for a 16" pizza, nothing else just simply a pizza before finally deciding to get up and leave. During the hour duration of waiting I watched a family who got sat literally 2 minutes before us give their order, eat, get their check, box up their food and leave while we were still sitting waiting on one pizza. I walked up to the register to pay for our drinks (something that should have been free of charge given the situation) our waitress accepted my payment with no apologies or anything, simply said "well your pizza is coming out right now." I explained to her as calmly as I could the situation. No manager approached me, nothing was offered to fix the problem, not even an apology for the inconvenience! After reading previous reviews of the less than mediocre food, slow service and personally having a horrible experience myself, i will not be a returning customer EVER! read more

pizza king has done it again! we had my daughter's 7th birthday party here yesterday in the party room and i just cant say enough! this is the 3rd time we have had her party there and we love coming back! david, who took care of our party of 30 was wonderful and we appreciate him so much! as the party host, i ordered some appetizers for the group and everyone else was free to order their own menu items. he kept track of everything, food came out quickly and he kept us stocked with ice and water for our apparently thirsty crew! the room was clean and already stocked with plates, silverware and cups. we love having the patio area to use as well since we had nearly 10 kiddos there. the pizza we ordered was delicious right upon receiving it and just as good later when we reheated it when i could finally sit and enjoy! thanks again to pizza king bluff road and david for making my daughter's birthday a success again! all of our out of town family was very pleased with the location, food and service as well! and kudos to david who sent the train around just so our train loving kids could see it even though we werent in a booth for our meal. they shrieked with delight and were so happy. he even did it a second time just to get their happy reactions!! read more
