    The beautiful train decore.
    Emm M.

This is a national treasure. A pizza king that still has the drink train. A trip back in time to a different era. The inside of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. There's a lot of train decore, beautiful hardwood, and tacky patterns. It's got a very 80's/90's look to it. Most of the seats in the restaurant are booths and drinks are served on a model train that does rounds. There are TVs in each booth, too. This is a great place to take kids. The servers were extremely friendly, too. The food is just standard pizza king pizza. But I like it. The sauce is really good, the bread sticks were warm and fluffy, and the pizza tastes great. In an era of cold stainless steel aesthetics and bland beige colors, this restaurant's interior stands out. It's definitely tacky, but in an inviting and comfortable way. And in a time of self service kiosks the friendly staff at this location is an amazing change of pace. You need to come here. Restaurants like these are are getting rarer and rarer. If for anything for the drink train.

10" Traditional Thin Crust Pizza with Ground Beef, Green Pepper, and Onions

Dining in a train station is the theme here. Two wings of dining rooms with high back booths creating a lot of privacy. Model trains pass by the window in the booth. There are individual TV screens in each booth. Service was pretty fast, starting with a greeter to seat me in booth number twelve. Shortly thereafter a server stopped in to take my drink and pizza order. I did peruse the menu and would have ordered a sandwich but I was in the mood for a pizza all week. I ordered the traditional thin crust with ground beef, green pepper and onions. The pizza was good with numerous ingredients but not as many toppings as my Mooresville Pizza King. Nevertheless the pizza was good and flavorful. I do love the thin crust. The thinner the better in my opinion. The restroom was clean and stocked. The parking lot is fairly large and seems plenty adequate.

I have been coming to this pizza King for many many years. It was really great when the kids were small. The atmosphere is great. It is based like a train station. Each booth has a window in it that has a background scene and the drinks are delivered by a train. The kids love watching the train go by all through the meal and are especially excited when stuff comes for them. The server was great. She was very friendly, Young, and very helpful. She kept coming by to make sure we had everything we needed and took care of us very quickly. We ordered garlic bread with cheese on it and a pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. The pizza had a very crispy crust tons of toppings and cheese and was really great. It's one reason it is one of my favorites. The garlic bread came two slices with tons of cheese on top, pizza cheese. Garlic and buttery crispy crust and very soft bread. It was a very good starter for the meal. A great experience as usual.

    4 Cheese Filled Breadsticks

This was my first visit to this location and any Pizza King in at least 10 years. I think I went once in college with my friends parents who were diehard Pizza King diners. We were greeted and sat right away. There were a few families dining but it wasn't overly crowded on aSunday around 12. The server was pretty friendly. We started with an order of cheese filled breadsticks with nacho cheese dip. They were ok. I'll probably eat anything with nacho cheese dip so I'm not too picky there. We also each ordered a personal size pizza since we couldn't decide on toppings as a family. I had the veggie. It was a little salty but not bad otherwise. The price for the amount of pizza you get is a little on the expensive side. But let's be honest. If you're dining here it's because you want your drinks delivered to your train via model train. It was such a fun experience. I know it's for kids but I'm 35 and I enjoyed it. I want all my drinks delivered via train in the future. The whole restaurant is train-themed with the lobby resembling a train station. I also loved just how big the booths were. You could fit at least 6 people comfortably and they had high walls so it was like your own little train car.

Going To Pizza King For My First Time! Their Pizza Looks Good! And Breadsticks! They Have The Restroom

    Sarah S.

TLDR: Classic Pizza King with a train and friendly staff. Breadsticks are forgettable, salads are terrible, but the pizzas are solid! Pizza is also great when delivered. Dining areas could use extra cleaning and a shame they use Styrofoam for to go drinks, as it's not eco-friendly. Four stars for food and service. --- Craved Pizza King on my visit to Indy and my mom and I went to this location. I have also had delivery the week prior. 1. Location is well maintained. Interior booths could use extra cleaning, specifically the train windows had kids smushed fingers prints all over it. 2. Service was very friendly. Our server was a teen girl who was extremely friendly and sweet. 3. The trains are still pretty cute. I could have lived without a big patriotic train though with eagles and flags all over it. But, Indiana loves its patriotic stuff. 4. We tried pretzel breadsticks at my mom's choice. They were bearable, but, I've never been a fan of Pizza King breadsticks. They were pretzel in look, but had no salt on them. I ate one and called it the quits. 5. We asked for potato skins but they were out, they have not been able to find a new supplier for potato skins so they are not offering them at this time. 6. I had a salad when I got my pizza delivered and thought it was a screw up - shredded iceberg lettuce like is served on tacos with one tiny chopped tomato and cubed mozzeralla on top. It was terrible, but the Italian dressing was great. Turns out this is how some locations serve their salads. I will not get it again. 7. Was happy to see our sodas and waters served in reusable plastic cups. I have been frustrated by the amount of single use plastic and Styrofoam in Indianapolis. The to go cups are Styrofoam. I really wish they'd move away from that and modernize to something more eco-friendly (paper or biodegradable). 8. 10" cheese pizza was delicious and hit the spot in that unique PK way! I'd go back to this location, but, would like to check out others next visit. The one I grew up with is in Greenwood and has moved from its original location. However, the trains are fun and a unique attraction. Four stars for the service, trains and pizza. p.s. If they would have had a t-shirt with the King on it I would have bought one in black!!

I have plenty of help eating this pizza.

After taking my grandbaby to gymnastics, I was looking for some place to take her to dinner. My daughter recently moved to the area, so I'm not as familiar with the local businesses. Pizza Kings have become so hit or miss over the years, so I was both excited and unsure when I decided to check this location out. So glad we did. It definitely feels like an older location. The age shows, once inside. However, it did feel clean and that's what matters most to me. I'm a fan of vintage and nostalgia, so I was personally tickled to discover they have a train that delivers drinks and small items to the tables. My granddaughter really got quite a kick out of that. I ordered what I believe she said was a 10" deluxe Pizza. I asked for the smallest, personal size and she said something along the lines of that being the smallest size available. Not sure if they were out of that size dough or if they don't carry it...I was trying to manage a 1 year old and distracted. It's been so long since I've had Pizza King, but I swear there's a smaller size. No one complained about me bringing home leftover pizza so, win win. It was also really good and exactly what I'm looking for when I seek out Pizza King pizza. Our waitress was very kind, soft spoken, and did a great job keeping an eye on our needs and bringing things timely. I appreciated being able to immediately pay at the table, thru a portable point of sale. Will definitely return.

Great breadsticks and thin crust pizza - especially their meat lovers if you are all about eating something loaded and meaty. My husband is a fan of it. We didn't know they don't serve 7" after 4pm, so he didn't order it this time. We had ordered the largest veggie pizza this time actually. Love how the toy train comes to serve any beverage. Their ambiance is set up like that as an old train station and I really enjoy it. Each booth has a tv to keep your kiddo entertained. Family run location and always warm and welcoming restaurant.

Pizza king is a fun restaurant where it's train themed. A little train brings your drinks and each booth has a TV. I came here for a birthday party so we had the private room. The server was friendly and got our drinks as we were walking in. We had a variety of breadsticks and two large pizzas. The breadsticks are far superior than the pizza. There are plenty of games for kids to play as well.

Here's what we ordered Shrimp tempura 8/10. 4 pieces and comes with sweet chili sauce. Pretty good for a restaurant that doesn't specialize in Japanese food. Tea leaf salad 9/10. Good flavors, slightly spicy, good addition to have at the table. Dry beef salad 10/10. So yummy. Flavors were great and if you ask for it spicy it will be SUPER SPICY so be warned lol. It had a good pepper and cilantro flavor. One of the best things we got. Baby pork ribs 9/10. You get a lot of ribs for the price. They're a little on the dry side but they pair very well with rice and veggies. Gailan 10/10. This was the best thing we had! So good and necessary to add freshness to all the spicy and flavorful dishes we ordered. It's chinese broccoli stir fried with garlic. Very good. Kway teow with chicken 6/10: good flavors but too sweet for my taste. Kungpao chicken 9/10. the chicken was super crispy and delicious. It was a little spicy and sweet. Mango lemonade 10/10. So good. It comes with a lime slice that makes it even better when you juice it with your straw. Overall great food will be back to try more items. Make sure to order sides of rice to go with everything as it is not included. A lot of the saucier dishes skew on the sweeter side. Love this local spot!

One of my personal opinions is that the mark of quality and attention to detail in any restaurant that moves large volumes of food is cleanliness - and the salad bar was pristine! From the charcuterie to the fresh vegetables, everything looked fresh and delicious. The fact that there was not one speck of food or debris littering the floor or the areas surrounding the bowls was clear indication that someone was monitoring that area with meticulous detail. The meat options brought to our table were diverse, well prepared, and brought to the table slightly faster than we could eat them! We never found ourselves waiting for anything as the service was incredibly attentive. A very nice and much appreciated personal touch was added by a couple of check in visits during dinner from Gabriel, the sales manager and Sebastian, the general manager - both of whom showed genuine interest in how our experience was. Add to this outstanding service from our server, Jessica. We learned that this is a family owned and operated restaurant which explains the pride that was clearly apparent in every aspect of this dining experience. It's not often we eat such large volumes of food - but as soon as we're ready for another truly indulgent dining experience, we will be going back to Ten Cuts - even over some of the more popular and well known Brazilian steakhouses!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the female bartender doing shots with customers. She then came over and tried to play it off and said we could sit wherever and gave us menus. Our server came over and brought us water and then told us "whatever it says we have online, we don't have" before walking away. He didn't come back for a super long time and we were about to get up and leave (wish we had) right before he finally came back. I asked how big of a piece of salmon they serve if I were to add it on top of their kale salad and it was a decent size so I chose that for dinner. My husband got the BLT (the whole reason we went there for dinner). I ordered a glass of Prosecco and my husband ordered a beer that they had on the menu up front, but he was told they actually didn't have it. He ordered the Mexican lager instead. While we waited for our drinks, my husband was reading the board by the front entrance and it was full of July 4th specials, but we are halfway through August. Our drinks came out and my Prosecco was great (the only good thing from our entire visit). My husband's beer was bad/flat and he took one sip and never drank anything else from it. Our server either never noticed or didn't care. Then, to top it off, the next day they posted online about having trouble with their lines, so they knowingly served us/charged us for a bad beer. Our food came out and I was IMMEDIATELY hit with a strong fish smell, which is not normal for salmon. The taste was even stronger than the smell and I tried to trick myself into thinking it was because they cook it differently, but it grossed me out and I started looking online to see if it was okay and it is either from it spoiling/improper storage or cooking at way too high of a temperature. From our table we could see into the back that their cooler door was left open our entire time there, so I'm guessing it was spoiled/improperly stored. Needless to say, I didn't finish my food. My husband said his bacon didn't taste fresh, but still ate his sandwich. He said his chips were stale and didn't eat any of them after trying the first one. The terrible dinner combined with the wall behind us covered in a bunch screws and nails poking out with nothing hanging on them, the floors being filthy, and the staff being inattentive made us unsurprised that they only had one other table and a couple of people at the bar while we were there on a Saturday night. I would not return here again.
