Ordered a pizza with extra mozzarella, parmesan, and cheddar cheese. The "cheddar cheese" was cold cut up pieces thrown on top of an already cooked pizza. Photo is from seconds after delivery. Called for a refund and was told there was no manager, and that I could come pick up a replacement pizza, or call a number hooked up to a machine for a refund. You need an order pin for a refund which I never got. Been a customer for years but I'm done now. I work at a restaurant and would never serve this to a customer. Update: Gave me a $5 refund on a $27 order that I also tipped on. Done with this place

Visited this place after leaving Fine Arts museum. Small spot tucked in a shopping strip. Very large menu and 3 tables to sit with a few bar stools along the window. I used a Groupon that gave me a large pizza and app for $13. Food came out hot and very tasty. Will visit again. PS they don't offer fountain drinks or ice.

I so happened upon this place with a friend. I had the Love Supreme Pizza. The prices were great but the pizza was even better!!

Groupon generally does me no wrong - sweet deals, some steals, and pizza meals. When I saw a Groupon for Pizza Love, somewhere I've been wanting to try for a while, I snatched one (okay, maybe two) up and called myself a winner winner chicken pizza dinner. Walking into Pizza Love on a Saturday night, I realized I was no winner once I saw the large "Manager's Special" sign. The Manager's Special was one large 14" 3-topping pizza and an appetizer or salad (up to an $8.99 value) for $14.99 before taxes. My Groupon was almost identical, but more limited because I could not get a salad or an appetizer, just an appetizer. I asked the cashier if I could get a salad instead of an app with my Groupon and she was quick to say no. Just a warning - you don't need a Groupon! Don't limit yourself with the time sensitive restriction of the Groupon. No, the Manager's Special may not always be there but honestly, the pizzas and apps wouldn't have been much more had I not had a Groupon. Don't get me wrong, pretty good deal but you could get the same quantity and quality at a Papa John's or Dominoes. Pros: - The crust! If you enjoy thin crust, this place is for you. Each bite was crispy and crunchy! - Our waitress/cashier was super sweet - We received a free Garden Salad for our long wait time (see below) Cons: - Wait time - there was one person ahead of us with a take out order but it still took our garlic knots 40 minutes to come out, and pizza about 50 minutes - Garlic knots were rather oily and not as soft as I thought it would be - The hot sausage we got on our pizza was sliced SUPER thin. We barely had any meat on our pizza - The pizza flavor itself was a tad bit on the bland side, still okay but could have used more flavor The shop is small, with only a few tables. Ambiance is of a normal small pizza parlor. There's an empty gelato freezer at the front where you order, where the ice cold gelato use to live before global warming (RIP gelato). Try this place if you really are just running out of new pizza places to try. Skip this place if you are expecting something to knock your socks off.

We office close by and just found this Houston Gem!! Pizza love is so delicious! We needed a heart shape pizza and they're the only place around our area to do one and it was amazing! We gave a pizza to one of our vendors and they immediately asked who made it. We'll definitely be back!

Pizza love is located on Montrose, right by Walgreens in the shopping lot where berry hill use to be and where Starbucks is. The place is relatively smaller in size with limited seating and a few seats outside too. It's best to carry out. You can call in your order too. They currently have a groupon offer available for this location, so take advantage. What the groupon offer is a large 3 topper plus an order of appetizer (up to 8.99) for 15.98. The regular price is 24.98. Also groupon usually has an extra 20% promotion weekly so u might end up paying only about $13.00. I usually get the large pizza with mushroom jalapeños and beef, and an order of BBQ wings. The pizza is always prepared fresh with plenty of toppings bursting from the pizza and the cheese just stretching away from the pizza. They have a wide selection of toppings and a good selection of specialty pizzas which I haven't tried yet. Their Wings are pretty flavorful too. They have an order of either 10 or 20. My two favorite are the BBQ or hot. They are served with your choice of dip. This place is open till late nights, and serves as a great late nite snack. The employees are friendly and pleasant. It's usually the same chic that works every evening.

Hate to give two to three star ratings but wow this pizza is just not that great. It's okay but star pizza down the road is much better than you have romanos down the road as well. The pizza has decent flavor. Very greasy. Now the wings are terrible. Taste old cold and hard. Not a fan of the wings at all! Prob will never go back. Nothing stands out here. No wow factor at all Friendly fast service that's about it Not the worst bit for dam fire the best.

Upon entry I was greeted with a unique aroma of spices and a bright and clean dining area. At the back of the restaurant on the self-service kiosk, I ordered two dipped and dusted chicken sandwich combos with fries for one order and the desi kimchi for the other along with the mango lassi drinks. The chicken on the sandwich was juicy, flavorful and paired well with the crunch of the lettuce and tanginess of the kimchi; not to mention the soft potato bun. The fries were seasoned well and tasted good with both the delicious and naughty sauces. The mango lassi was also good but interesting with a thick consistency and a pretty sweet flavor. Additionally the staff was friendly and prepared my order accurately. Overall, I had a great experience here, receiving fresh, tasty food at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

The setup is simple and unpretentious, but the food speaks for itself. I'm not sure what they put on that chicken, but it was incredibly well seasoned and perfectly cooked. It was juicy on the inside with a crispy, flavorful exterior. We also ordered the fries without the spicy seasoning since I don't do spicy, and they were absolutely amazing. Whatever seasoning they use is the real secret to this place. I couldn't stop eating them. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a delicious, satisfying meal without all the fuss.

The combo meal comes with fries, which we shared. The fries were great. They were hot and crispy. The burger itself was good. I wouldn't say this place is an authentic Mexican food spot, but it's close enough. Tex Mex if you will. We were trying to find something to eat in the area to meet up some fam and came across this place on Yelp. I actually had it bookmarked for awhile so I was more than happy to cross another spot of my to do list. Located in a busy shopping center in the Heights, there is alot of parking available, but at busy times, you may need to drive around a little. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but there was plenty of seating inside as well as a small patio outside. I like that they also have board games and what not so they aren't trying to rush you out, but want to make it seem like a hangout spot. Customer service was amazing from start to finish. The young lady taking our order went above and beyond explaining their concept and describing each item they had. During our meal, they checked in on us frequently and made sure we were enjoying our experience. You may or may not have guessed it by the name, but Roll Em Up Taquitos specializes in taquitos. A taquito is a rolled up tortilla filled with different toppings and then deep fried. How can you go wrong with that! They also have items like tacos, a taco burger, taco salads, bowls, nachos and loaded fries. We came for the namesake item. Between our group, we got all the different varieties of taquitos available. I got a 4 pack in which you can mix and match fillings. I went with all the options of beef, chicken and potato. You then pick your topping style. They have loaded which is a cheesy, saucy options. OG is more of a traditional preparation with lettuce, queso fresco, guac and sour cream. Enchilada style is doused with enchilada sauce and cheese. I got mine loaded. The packs also come with rice and beans. For 13 bucks, it's a pretty hearty meal. The taquitos came out freshly made and had the most wonderful crunch with every bite, even with all the sauces. I imagine getting them to go or waiting awhile might take away from how it is intended to be eaten. I tried bites of the other variations and they were all tasty. I think I like the OG way the best though. The taquitos were delicious, but the big surprise was how delicious the rice and beans were. We couldn't stop talking about how good it was. We also tried a side of the street corn in a cup. This item was not a fave of the table. It was too citrus forward and something I would skip next time. For drinks, they have fountain drinks, refreshers, Jamaica and even horchata. I went with a mango refresher which was very refreshing and tasty. To finish it all off, we had to satisfy the sweet tooth with some churro donuts. These things were so so good. They made sure to bring it out towards the end of the meal so they were hot and fresh. I recommend everyone requests it that way. I wish this spot wasn't so far from home. Well maybe it's a good thing because I would be here often. I will most definitely be back if in the area.
