I never thought much of this place until recently. I've lived in the Montrose for years and have only tried this place a couple of times, each time it was just "ok" and I wondered how this place stayed in business. Well recently I tried the italian calzone and I think that item alone is a reason to keep this place open. Their calzone is super good, with a great mix of cheeses and meats. I've already ordered this thing like 12 times, and I got my gf hooked on them as well. Nothing else on the menu that I've tried has been anything to write home about, so no 5-star review, but that calzone tho. read more

Just enjoyed their pizza for the first time. Crust had the perfect crunch and thickness for New York style. Also tried the hot wings and was very pleased with the level of spice and quality. Was a loyal Pinks Pizza customer but find their crust quality can be inconsistent so going to move my business over to Pizza Love. read more

Went to pizza love with my girlfriend for lunch on a Groupon. Pizza with appetizer. We were both going to have water to drink and dine in. There was no other customers sitting at any of the three tables in the place. After the order was placed the man said "to go right". I said no, we are going to eat in. He told me in order to eat in the restaurant I needed to buy two drinks. I was very confused by this as I just ordered 15 dollars worth of food but whatever. Give us two cokes. That's only 4 dollars. He said not enough it had to be 5 dollars or more to run a card and I didn't have any cash on me. So I had to order some more stuff I didn't even want in order to stay and eat in. While we're were eating another guy came in and ordered a slice of pizza and an appetizer. No drink. The man had no problem letting him stay and eat. I'm pretty mad at this point. This is my neighborhood pizza joint and I've eaten Pizza Love 10 times or so. Delivery is fast and friendly. The pizza by the slice is huge - maybe 1/3 of a regular pizza. I've had pizza, the meatball sandwich, and the lasagna, and none of it was especially delicious. read more

I ordered delivery. I wasn't amazed by the shrimp fettuccine alfredo, but it's pretty basic/hard to mess up. Personally I wasn't a fan of the bread or the salad I received, they were both really bland. read more

Had my food delivered, it was meh weird satisfaction. I had the beef ravioli, wish it would have had cheese on it. The sauce and was alright. I ordered a salad and did not eat it because they gave me the wrong dressing. The mousse cake was more like store bought pie. Honestly the best part about the meal was that it was delivered to me and I didn't have to drive in traffic. I would probably try the lasagna next time. I would make sure they gave me ranch. Ordered delivery last night online and the food was delicious, fresh ingredients and prepared exactly as we requested (no cheese on the ravioli, etc) Got the beef ravioli, chicken marsala, mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. Happily surprised. I ordered the chicken tenders and a Hawaiian pizza to be picked up. I got distracted at work so I was surprised when they called and told me my food was ready. I packed up and headed that way! The chicken tenders are made with herbed chicken so they were very good. Different from what I've had before. They make the ranch dressing in-house. Perfect for me because I cannot stand bottled dressing. The Hawaiian pizza had flat Canadian bacon on it not the little chunks that every other pizza place seems to be putting on their pizza. Really liked the crust -- it was crispy and nicely browned on the bottom and not soggy at all! (My pizza pet peeve.) But there was barely any sauce at all and too much greasy cheese. If I ordered again, I'd ask for extra sauce and half the cheese. read more

1) The pizza was good+ (7/10); maybe not the best pizza in the world, but certainly worth trying, especially because... 2) ...I'm not sure it's possible to buy this pizza at full price. Use a groupon deal or buy the daily special. Either will get you a good quality large pizza for under $8. Not bad... 3) Each time I've been, I've been very impressed by the service. The first time, the girl at the register gave my wife and me some free gelato as we waited. The second time, the worker upgraded our canned sodas to 20 ounce bottles for free. Very mediocre. The pizza rolls with the default two different types of cheese were basically dough with two sticks of cheese in them. None of that cool cheese that just strings out from a normal pizza roll. No seasoning....a bit disappointing. The philly cheesteak was the same, meat and veggies not seasoned well. Horrible customer service. I purchased a Groupon that expired July 2018. I went today to use my Groupon and was told they no longer honor groupons. My question to the "manager" was how was I able to purchase this if they no longer have a relationship with Groupon. Her answer again was that they still will not honor. I was so upset.
