Not just "college special" nostalgia! We had a Pizza Milano right next to our campus in college and it was the place to go late night for an affordable bite to eat. We've ordered from this location several times. Their online ordering is smooth, their delivery is efficient, and their za is tasty! We switched it up this time and went with the Tuscan Chicken pizza and it was loaded with toppings. We also ordered motz sticks and zucchini and it could have been more plentiful, but was quite enjoyable. read more

I was in the area recently for business with my friend and we both decided we wanted some pizza. It was a late night for both of us and I myself hadn't had pizza for a long time and this was our only option, sadly! We searched the area online and also called several places and this was the only place open at the time and close to us. So we pulled into the lot and she went in to order our pizza. I decided to turn the car off not long after and walked in to check the place out. It was small and empty, but did seem clean. She was chatting with the boy working the register when I walked in as she is very friendly and very kind woman. As we were ordering our pizza and drinks he told her she looked like his mom who had passed away and she was flattered. He showed us pics of her and he talked so wonderfully about her and he was right we both did see the resemblance. So after that we grabbed a couple drinks from the cooler and waited for the pizza to be done. There were two other people working as well but both were also glued to their cell phones. Smfh! Not long after that to our surprise he said it was done and we grabbed it and walked out. When we got into the car the aroma of the pizza did smell great but what pizza doesn't, right!? So once we got back to the hotel which was 5 mins away, I popped the box open and I was shocked. It looked like a pieced together pizza from Chuck E' Cheese's. WOW! As you can see in the pic none of the cut marks on the pizza line up, the cheese in the middle looks like it was used to piece it together, the crust on both sides are different colors and there are no cut marks on the box on the cheese side. I was disgusted!!! This is what happens when you hire kids to work for you and they are too busy on their cell phones to actually do their jobs. I am going to report them to the BBB and also to the states attorney general for a multitude of things. If this has ever happened to you, message me. Gross!!! read more

We got carry out. Great pizza. High quality toppings. Ready really quick Large pepperoni extra sauce. $22. There was only one problem. The girl at the phone and register was very unhappy. She didn't want to be there. She slammed the phone down on a new call after saying please hold. Then never answered the call. Took my payment stone faced didn't thank me. I mean. Pizza is always great although while waiting for our pizza the employees made it very known throughout the pizza shop that they were unhappy with their boss and delivery driver. Constant F bombs and "she wants to make it look like she's busy". How they'll find a job tomorrow if there's no changes and degrading a delivery driver. Everyone in the pizza shop could hear this and the employees didn't care. Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable dining experience. read more

I've only ordered online and they gave a super convenient/user friendly. I am not from PA and this is only 1out of 2 places I've tried pizza... I think there pizza is ok and love the zucchini... tried pasta 2x and it was good the first time ... brings me to my next point - I find them inconsistent out of the 7x we have ordered. The prices seem outrageous ... I purchased a small pizza which is 4 slices (mini is 4 but smaller better for one) which is $9 and I ordered double pepperoni and double broccoli - as you can see the amount of broccoli is SAD & they charged $4.50 just for the broccoli ... the amount of pepperoni is so so or fair and that was $3 ..... again they are very inconsistent so it's a hit or miss but I need to try other places to have a fair comparison read more

Pastor Clark ordered me two slices of pepperoni pizza but when I got home it had anchovies. I took them back to see if I could exchange for pepperoni only and a male was very hostile saying that was what was ordered and he would have to charge me for a new order. I told him he could keep the two slices and left. However I went back in to speak with the owner to see if I could get a refund and he said he was the owner and then proceeded to raise his voice saying "Absolutely Not"...well I can tell you that it was absolutely embarrassing so I just left and am outside writing this review! Use to live off the Milanos location at Duquesne. The one in Robinson use to be good but is completely slipping. Just had a Burnt buffalo chicken so bad I wouldn't serve to my dog. I am not a complainer and actually this is my first yelp review. I also like to face things head on so I called and let them know their response was "okay" (glad to see they care). I'm officially moving on from Milanos after this experience use to be a spotty problem now it's frequent. read more

I'm definitely giving it 5 star. Pizza was so so so good that I can't begin to tell you. I ordered Seafood pizza and I couldn't even finish small pizza. I'd recommend that Order small pizza for two people. They are not expensive, and they have heavy toppings which I love about them. Cheese melts in your mouth like i can't describe it. Staff was very helpful and kept asking if everything's good. Only thing missing was some good music which i'm not sure why it wasn't even playing. I'd most definitely show up again, while I'm at Pittsburgh this week. They are surely and undoubtedly the best pizza restaurant. read more

This place is busy and the location is a premium. It wa s cold rainy evening in Pittsburgh. I was hungry for some pizza and decided to stop and try this place. Food - The pizza is very "bready" - not my favorite. I ordered a pizza loaded and by the time I returned to my hotel it was a soggy mess. If you like a think crust pizza (not pan but more like a pizza sitting on Focacia Bread - then this is the place for you). My likings are more thin crust and can hold the wait (i.e. anti-soggy pizza). Service - The service was great! The people at the restaurant were very nice and they were very busy. Cost - This place is a little higher than the chains but they have much more variety. I think if I was going to eat there again, I would try some of their other itmes. You may like as many others but I will probably follow some other recommendations on my pizza quest in Pittsburgh. read more

Customer service is awful, the first impression of this establishment is the person answering the phone for takeout and delivery, this has been an ongoing FAIL with rude and nasty customer service I had stopped ordering from Milanos for about six months, but decided to try again because the pizza was good, and with Covid, I understand things are rough all the way around so over the last 3-4 orders the customer service continued to be unacceptable and the pizzas started arriving with so much cheese and sauce that the crust is raw in the center they continuously over charge, add service and delivery fees, don't apply coupons, and then when questioned why and what they are you are treated very poorly, Front of house employees should be treated with respect of course, and they need to remember they are the face of the company for those few hours and at the end of the day the way they talk to and treat customers will determine whether or not the business is able to provide them with a pay check.... no customers no business make Sure you get your total before you gI've them your card info or you may pay $25 and change for an 18$ pizza very poor business ethic. I Do not trust this business and will never go back read more

My husband and I were staying the night at a hotel in the area and the nice man that checked us in gave us a list of local restaurants and said if we were looking for delivery, to try here. I ordered online and our order was here in half an hour, 15 minutes faster than we expected. Prices were average, pizza was delicious! We just got something basic on our pizza because we were just hungry...but now I wish we would have tried one of the specialty pizzas! There was a ton of cheese and the crust and sauce was amazing. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza, look no further! read more

Walked in Robinson location for a sit down lunch with 2 of my coworkers. We all ordered the 1/2 hoagie lunch special. Coworkers received their lunch after 10 mins. After 20 mins, I went back up and they said it would be right up. 10 mins later it still wasn't ready. It was obvious that they forgot my order. As my coworkers were already finished when it was finally done, I asked them to wrap the sandwich up to go. No apologies! Worst part about it, we were the only ones in the restaurant and they still lost my order read more

Will Never Order From Here Again Placed an order online at 5:50 and the email said order would be here by 6:36. Of course no order, so I waited until after 7:30 to call and check on the status of my order that was already charged to my credit card. After sitting on hold, I get told we don't have your order are you sure you live at your house and not one down the road? After being put on hold again while the person goes to get the manager, I was then told the manager was too busy to talk to me and would call me back....sometime. I went here every time I wanted good pizza in the Robinson area. I'd also go to say that, other than Police Station, this was the best pizza in the Robinson area. It's a mark above Police Station only because they have a menu that goes beyond just pizza. Their bread sticks are some of my favorite. They are very buttery and garlicky with crumbled Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Pizza Milano may be a big fish in a small pond but I still think it could compete with the pizza downtown. It's not nearly as greasy as Mineo's and the toppings are just as fresh. The types of pies they put on their menu are also very unique. The Ultimate Meat is incredible and even includes lamb as a topping! read more

I was in town for work and didn't know the area so I ordered from here because they would deliver to the hotel. I ordered online, the food came hot and at the exact time I asked for it. When it arrived I was also surprised at the portions, the pasta and salad could've easily fed two to three! Everything was delightful, a great place for a wonderfully classic Italian meal! Ordered delivery to my hotel Sep 28 Pizza - lots of cheese and it tasted real. loved the ground sausage. the crust was 100% made fresh and hand a great taste! It reminded me of the old Godfathers back in the 70's. Appreciated it was NOT another cheap NY Style Pizza rip off! Italian Hoagie - so I asked for it without salad dressing and bake it with pizza sauce...and the guy thought I was crazy & said in 10 years no way had ordered a hoagie like that! It was absolutely fabulous! This is my favorite Pizza shop. The sauce that they put on their pizza is like nothin I've had. Their Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp is too good not to get. U go there, and it's so hard to not get everything on the menu. Accolades to Pizza Milano. read more

Got the appetizer platter. Definitely not worth $10. I read a lot of reviews stating that there was not enough sauce on the pizza- I agree. Got extra cheese and there was barely any sauce on it. It was also very salty. What would ever get me to order from here again? The hoagie. Got the Deluxe Italian. Fantastic. Enough to feed 3 people. Big 16" of goodness. Loaded with meat. This request has been honored multiple times in the past, but this time, we were met with a flat rejection. Upon inquiring, the explanation was vague and unconvincing - I was told that the cheese could slide over to the other half, which I assured wouldn't be an issue and they could cut the pizza from wherever the cheese stops. Persisting, I called back hoping for a better resolution, only to be informed again that accommodating our request was off the table. The reasoning? "New workers, new way of service." This shift in service ethos was not only disappointing but also insensitive to customers with genuine dietary restrictions. The individual handling our call lacked the empathy and willingness to assist, which was quite disheartening. It's essential for eateries to understand and cater to the diverse dietary needs of their patrons, and it seems like Pizza Milano has lost sight of this customer-centric approach. I order from this place a lot, and I have a big family and tip the drivers good, well I did. Tonight I had the worst experience with the delivery driver. He brought my food which was a total of $48 I gave him a twenty dollar bill and a fifty dollar bill which totals $70.00, I tell him to give me $10 back. He gave me the $10 back which would give him a $12.00 tip. He leaves gone for about 10 mins comes back to my house to tell me he gave me the wrong change. Remind you this man is now knocking at my door when I'm a lone in my house, telling me I owe him money. Demanding the $10 in change back. All he keeps doing is showing me my receipt with the $50 dollar bill, I said sir I gave you $70 a $20 & $50 he kept saying no I didn't. I told him call his manager right now while standing on my porch. And how much do you leave the Pizza shop with count back you will see I didn't not rip you off he couldn't even figure out how much he left the pizza shop with. Please look for people with math skills and customer service skills, why would you leave and come back to my house?
