There was only two customers ahead of us and it took at least 15 minutes to take our order, but it also only took about 15 minutes for our food to come. Pizza was very tasty and filling. We ordered a XL single topping 16.99 and an order of 4 cheese stuffed bread sticks. My family of 4 ended up taking home half of the pizza. read more

We've had their Ruben Sandwich before and it's a favorite of ours, especially the surprising kick from jalapeños, yum!! The side salad was really nice, shaved Parmesan and homemade dressing! There are three places in Custer that you can get pizza, but there is really only one option if you're wanting a GOOD pizza in Custer -that is, the Pizza Mill. This is a terrific, family run pizza restaurant that puts out some truly decent pies. They also have terrific non-pizza items (my daughter LOVES the wings, and my wife goes for the gyro with a side-salad). While it is true that their green peppers are sliced and not diced (I say this in the hopes that they will read this and repent someday:-D), not even this is enough to remove a star from their rating. If you are in the neighborhood and needing a pizza fix, they're definitely worth checking out! read more

Basic pizza place with a limited menu, but the pizza was excellent. We had the Timberman, a combo with a little bit of everything (meats and veggies). It was very cheesy. The crust was delicious and there was honey on the table to pour on the edge of the crust after we ate the rest of the piece. Yum! We also had cheese sticks which were covered with a bread dough, instead of the traditional coating. These were good, but they forgot to bring them out as an appetizer, so we ate them with our pizza. Thick outer edge crust. Great sauce. We also ordered a salad to go so we could have something to eat on the road the next day in our RV. That was delicious too! Don't get the mozzarella sticks if you are from the east coast. What we thought were breaded mozzarella sticks were actually mozzarella with a bread/pizza dough wrapped around and then baked. You place your order as you walk in and then you sit down. Small seating area inside but more seating outside. There are specialty pizzas along with standard combos on the menu. The pizza we had was extremely good. Great crust. The girl who took our order was very nice and helpful. Would definitely come back. Driving up, I wasn't sure this was what I had in mind for dinner. The restaurant is located in a small converted bungalow a little off from the action of downtown. Then we walked in and found a clean, contemporary and cozy interior that I'd categorize as fast-casual, if I'm using that term correctly. We were warmly greeted by a teenager at the counter and we ordered the BBQ brisket pizza, a bud light (the beverage menu was limited, hence the four-star rating). After a reasonably short time, the young man behind the counter brought us our pizza and checked on us regularly. It was fresh, delicious and uniquely crafted. The prices were about what I expected. All-in-all, I'd definitely return and I wish them well. As a newer business, they're off to a great start. read more

Stopped here for dinner after visiting Custer State Park. It's a small place, with five tables and additional seating on the patio. The dining room has a nice rustic but modern feel. After ordering at the counter with a very nice girl, we only waited for about 15 minutes before our pizza came out. Very tasty, lots of cheese, not too greasy, and puffy outer crust that you can dip into honey at the end of your meal. Perfect little place for a quick meal for my family of four. Note to families: It's a good place for kids, but they only offer soda as a drink and there is no changing table in the bathroom. read more

So looked up pizza joints in town and pizza mill looked good, and boy was it ever. Surprised how small the inside was but felt homey the pizza was probably the best I have tasted and had pizza at a lot of different places. Even the crust looked homemade, never seen or had twisted crust before. We had the logger special with cheese stuffed breadsticks for 25 bucks, best we ever had. On vacation-staying in Custer. Local recommended Pizza Mill. Ordered for delivery at 8:10 pm (they close at 9:00) and they happily took our order, even though they said it would take 45 minutes. Great pizza. The cheese pizza was very good and they have honey for the crust. They used severs different cheeses which made it unique. The personal pan pizza had good toppings but wasn't as good as the larger pizzas for some reason. Share a medium or large pizza instead of a personal pan. Other than that excellent pizza. read more

Great little pizza and sandwich place. Had the smoked brisket sandwich which was excellent. Brisket had great Smokey flavor and very tender. Their bbq sauce had a nice spice and flavor.
