Accompanied by a side of perfectly orchestrated I also had their squid ink risotto. Very distinctive flavor mixed within this squid ink plate. Bay scallops mixed within the squid ink and risotto. I just wish it was a little softer. I thought it could've used perhaps 5 additional minutes! Topped off with 2 perfectly cooked diver scallops! Table was available right away. Cocktails were impressive - and we started with a dirty martini and a Negroni blanco. The garlic bread made with Bub & Grandma's bread is a clear winner. Our server Emerson was top notch and steered us through the menu and drinks and was informative and friendly as very professional. When he'd walk through dining room, he was scanning to see if anyone was trying to catch his eye. And when I did he came right over. None of this look straight ahead stuff I sometimes see when it's a busy night. You can get out of Donna's for a reasonable price if you stick to garlic bread, salad and one of their excellent pasta dishes (5 of the dishes are in the $25-$28 range). We splurged and got the scampi (from France) what a sauce, truffle gnocchi, amazing chicken Marsala with amazing mushroom sauce $32) and the Cesar salad was delicious and not mailed in. We ate early (my preference these days) and if you don't see any openings for reservations, ask Resy to give you an alert -- you'll get notified when reservations open up. Emerson said they always hold some tables for walk ins. PS -- I normally don't leave such long reviews, but I have some friends who are chefs and who own restaurants - and when I see other Yelp reviews where someone leaves a one star because the hostess was allegedly rude when everything else is great -- I just hate to see how it can affect a restaurant. I have no relationship with this restaurant at all. I don't know any anyone who works in it or owns any part of it, but I just don't like to see people abuse the reviews -- the restaurant business is tough as it is. And as someone who has worked downtown and driven through Echo Park for 30 years - I think Donna's is a great addition to Echo Park.

For pasta, I almost always come back to the Rigatoncini alla Vaccinara with oxtail ragù, guanciale, peperoncino, and pecorino. It's rich and comforting and one of those dishes I look forward to ordering again. I also love the Spaghetti all'Arrabbiata when I want something with a little heat. The tomato sauce is bright and punchy, with just enough spice to keep me going back for another bite. I've had the pizza and liked it, but if I have limited room, I'm choosing the pasta. Their cocktails are consistently good. Their espresso martini has made more than one appearance at my table, and at this point I consider us to be in a committed relationship. This place seems to be on a campaign to litter my neighborhood (and my property!) with fliers. Why would you want to support a business that would uglify everyone else's space? If you want to send a mailer (or even stick a flier in a mailbox so it doesn't just become litter), fine. But this peppering people's houses and apartment spaces with fliers? It's the move of a business that does not care at all about its community... which means no one in the community should have *any* reason to patronize it. (Also, for what it's worth: not a single person I know has ever told me that the food here wasn't terrible.) Go elsewhere! read more

I like them, actually I love Pizza Moon. I've been buying from them for a long time (almost since they first opened 10 years ago). Food is always fresh and tasty (I've tried almost everything on the menu). Pizzas are especially delicious. My personal choice is Margharita with pepperoni added. Good delivery time and friendly staff. All my neighbors order from Pizza Moon. I give them 5 stars as they have been a great addition to our neighborhood. read more

My daughter was visiting from Chicago and we decided to order our New Year Dinner from Pizza Moon. The food was scrumptious!!! The salads were very fresh. They definitely use high quality produce supplier. It seemed like produce was purchased at Whole Foods store-high quality. Pizza dough was so soft....it was melting in my mouth. We stayed at the near by hotel and came to Pizza Moon for a quick slice of pizza. To our surprise the place was nice and clean with plenty of parking spaces. So we ended up having a dinner inside. We ordered a meatlovers pizza (Wow!), 8 buffalo wings (they were huge) and linguini with shrimp. Portions are big for a price. Staff is nice and friendly. Defiantly recommend! read more

I really like the food at pizza moon. I live on the westside and I pick up sandwiches and wings on the way to the dodger or laker games. The chicken sandwich is my favorite sandwich anywhere. I love the wings as well. I have gotten the pizza a few times and they are also very good. If I lived closer to the area I would order more often especially with the low prices. read more

I expected a little more than 5 butterfly shrimp with my order, but the shrimp were really good. Tottino's green salads are different. They have olives, broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers, tomato, red cabbage, carrots and lettuce. Such a garden variety of vegetables, which I love. I would prefer less crudely cut vegetables, because they're chunky and you end up having to cut them yourself or eat them by hand, but they are delicious. There's a lot to be said for knife skills. The nuggets were good. The taco wasn't bad, considering Tottino's isn't a Mexican restaurant. There was a lot of meat, cheese and lettuce in it. They have a lot of variety, which is what drew me to them in the past and will draw me again in the future. The only food I left was some of the fries. I recommend Tottino's to anyone who likes good, fairly priced food.

A medium pizza with two toppings $10 plus tax. I would pay for that price only if it was "that good". Come here only if you want pupusas or sweet bread. Don't get your hopes up. No parking lot. Park on the street at your own risk.
