One of pizza spots to get a fresh slice of pizza of your choice. You have a lot of toppings on how you want to eat it. Pizza slices are little high but worth it. Menu has a lot of variety! My favorites are the Big Sur, Manresa, Pepperoni and Sausage. Then they have a many choice of toppings next to their mini Coca Cola Freestyle machine. I tried their habanero green hot sauce, not bad but had a spicy kick. They had dried spices like the Spice Bomb( parsley, oregano and garlic), garlic powder, basil, oregano, rosemary, black pepper, parmesan, their own cayenne pepper hot sauce, dried chili flakes. This is my 3rd time eating here, and it gets amazing every time I go there. Different flavors, textures, and love their sourdough thin crust. Always get pizza,wings are expensive but very good. I got this last 3 weeks which is the 2nd time. I went like 11:10am on a Monday morning to do errands. So a great way to start the day. Every visit is a different but amazing experience. Menu is 5/5! Not all Pizza My Heart locations are created equal (I've had some mixed experiences around the bay area) but this one is my favorite by far!! The pizza itself was solid: fresh, generous toppings, and overall just well put together in a way that felt noticeably better than some of the other locations I've been to. The dining room was also clean, which honestly makes a difference with a place like this where you might just be grabbing a quick slice but still want it to feel decent to sit in. The workers here were also knowledgeable and just generally on top of things, which helped the whole experience feel smoother and more intentional than your typical grab-and-go pizza stop. And of course, it's Pizza My Heart, so it's fun that you can get the t-shirts with your slice for just a couple extra dollars. :) read more

I have been to a couple of their other locations (Palo Alto and Santa Cruz) and was kinda excited on them opening one up in my town. I do like the look Pizza My Heart brings, very NorCal in branding and vibes. I've only tried their pizzas by the slice here...thus far. They offer about 9 of their signature pizzas by the slice, sitting behind a glass case. Upon ordering they will put a slice back in an oven for about a minute. It comes out pretty quick, I haven't had to wait more than 4 minutes upon paying to get my slices, whether eating there or for take-away. They also have about 4 types of premade salads right by the register that look like any grocery store level salad. Cheese Slice ($5.50/4*) This is their cheapest slice also the lightest. All their pizzas are NY thin, but that is not to say these are NY styles. The base/undercarriage of the pizza is very light without any puffing nor is there any significant crisping. Upon picking up a slice, it will droop big time, even after folding. Their tomato sauce runs on the sweet side, has hits of dried oregano and when paired with a decent dry mozzarella, actually produces a decent base. I like the truer NY styles more as those just have a more classic American-Italian flavor to them, but this was very decent in it's own way. I would get a cheese slice here again as a nice snack or to go with something else. Chicken/Bacon ($6.75/3.5*) I usually don't order pizza with chicken on it, but I tried my friends. No tomato sauce on this one, maybe a white garlic sauce. They do load the protein as every bite has thin slices of chicken breast and tons of chopped bacon. Totally taste like eating a chicken club sandwich just minus the fresh produce. I didn't love this but I also didn't hate it. If I ever got this as a whole pie, I would definitely add some mushrooms and/or another veggie just to round it out more. Caeser Salad ($9/3.5*) I was wondering why a salad would cost almost double as a slice here, but I'll tell ya why. It is a big salad, like close to a quarts worth, way too much for a 1 person side salad, ideal for 2. Since it was in a nice take-out plastic container I just took it home and ate it for another meal. Super Veggie ($6.75/4*) Pretty loaded veggie slice. Has huge hunks of canned artichokes, peppers, onions, roma tomato slices, mushrooms and olives. I rarely get pure vegetarian pizzas but I wanted to try this and would totally get again. It is light yet substantial. Big Sur ($6.75/4.5*) This is their flagship. It is a combo that hits. Pepperoni, sausage, whole roast garlic cloves, portabello mushrooms and green onions. Definitely on the saltier side but ideal with bites of a salad, which I had. Pretty much loved all the ingredients and when you got a whole clove of sweet roasted garlic, just sent ya to the moon. This will probably be my standby pie slice here. Service still a bit shy and hesitant cuz they are still very new. Seems like a lot of local kids in there, with a bunch of vets from other locations doing the training. Hope they can eventually find their first years staff and catch a rhythm. Welcome to the area and I'll support them as long as they are here. Great add to the pizza rotation and they already have a captured market cuz none of the other suburban pizza chains offer pizza by the slice. That is a draw for me. read more

I'm already a fan of Pizza My Heart in general, so I am sOooOoo happy they opened up near me! I've been twice and it's been smooth sailing. The pizza has been solid and the line moves fast. The different employees I've had interactions with were all pleasant and friendly. I like a good pizza by slice spot, so I usually order a slice with meat and a veggie slice. My faves are Castroville, Little Sur and Manresa (I LOVE ricotta). For meat pizza I like Fort Point and DLex Chicken and Bacon... you can't go wrong with their pepperoni tho! read more

I stopped by the grand opening for free slice day and it was poppin'. It's wild to me that they gave out free pizza from 11am through 8pm and not just for the first x amount of customers. The employees were all so sweet and managed everything well while keeping everything clean with how many people were passing through. I was also shocked that they offered free condiments like ranch. Even with the massive line, they still heated up every single slice upon ordering so the pizza was fresh and crispy. Went 2 days in a row. I stopped by yesterday and got a slice along with a blue shirt, they do have the white and red shirts too. That's my favorite thing about this chain, buy a shirt get a free slice. I have numerous PMH's shirts from numerous locations. Since it's only a little over a dollar more to get a shirt with your slice, I think it's a good deal. Yesterday I got the Hawaiian and today I got the chicken and bacon. Both slices were good. Slices are thin with a thick crust. Service was good. Friendly and helpful staff. It's a roomy restaurant and located over by Safeway. They also have salads and little cups of dressing. Welcome to Fremont, Pizza My Heart! I've been going to different locations of the same company and I'm glad that they opened their doors after months of construction. Yesterday, we were told that they will open their doors at 11am, but also told that they're still preparing for opening when I got there around noon. An hour later, I came back but they're still working on it and that they need a few more hours to get it done. So I decided to come back tomorrow. I believe that they're in a soft opening phase since they're doing a "Free Slice" day on Thursday, which I think it's Grand Opening Day. Probably gonna be a lot of people getting free pizza on that day. I'm also coming here tomorrow for that day. Just like any other location I go to, pizza tastes the same, but that isn't bad news. I like how consistent the quality is. Also, I don't see a lot of pizza slices on the display, but again, they just recently opened and I don't blame them. Huge fan of pizza my heart & love a new location opened closer to me. Since this location did recently open it does get busy however they are well staff & it didnt take long at all for my turn to pick my pizza to checking out and waiting for my pizza to be warmed. Pro tip for first timers: get their stamp card, after 9 slices you get a free slice! Super easy if you order with multiple people. The store had plenty of seating & is overall clean. Used to frequent the Capitola PMH location over the years (been going for since the 90's), but eventually stopped after one too many disappointing orders where the pizza had major flop to the crust even when asking for it to be baked more. First couple of orders here had me remarking in surprise at the amazing lack of flop. Yay! Really enjoyed the crunch to the crust. Tasted delicious! Felt satisfied after one slice. Feeling hopeful the flop issue is sorted! But, alas, with the last 2 orders this past week, the cheese slices were remarkably paper thin, cut noticeably narrower/smaller and had the disappointing flop, which bites. Very few people would get full with 1 slice based on the narrow-cut, ultra thin slices I had the last 2 times. On a good note, the flavor is consistently delicious! Service is pretty good. Also they have a points card you can get stamped to get a free slice. Unfortunately, PMH is a miss for me on the value for the price with the smaller, narrower & ultra thin pie slices. read more

Today was the grand opening of Pizza my Heart in Fremont. I got there at 10:25 am and there was a short line. I think I was patron number 6. Met the owner, super nice family guy, and found out that he has 30 locations and the business is family run in order to maintain high standards. I chose their new pizza, pesto feta chicken, and it did not disappoint. Huge slice. Loved their blue Fremont 2026 t-shirt so purchased one to add to my Pizza My Heart collection. 100 percent cotton, the men's small is large for me, so perfect as a sleeping pj. Omg what a horrible choice to come here! My husband and I LOVE sliver pizza down the street but decided to go to pizza my heart, because we've gone to other locations in the past and it was decent. But the reason why I'm giving this place a 1 star is because when I had asked if the Big Sur is like a supreme pizza the girl started explaining everything that's on it... I didn't need to know but that wasn't it, it was also because Danny, who rung us up looked miserable and incorrectly put in our order. He had asked if it's for here or to go, and I said to go, yet the receipt said to-go. My husband and I sat down and our pizza came out on the metal plates because I said for here. I got the Big Sur and the Maui Wowie or whatever they called it and my husband got pepperoni. It was so bad I had to drench it with the two sauces and pepper flakes, and Parmesan. My husband who likes nothing on his pizza even had to put Parmesan and pepper flakes which is unlike him. As we were eating and almost finished, we were wondering where our bread sticks were as it has been about 20 mins and so I stood up and asked about it and it has been sitting in a box on top of where they cook the pizza.......so if I had not gotten up to ask I would have never gotten it?? I looked at the receipt our whole order says to go when I specifically told Danny for here. So why did our pizza come out as for here but our breadsticks were to go and why was our name not called? We opened the box and it was the saddest looking breadsticks I've seen in my life! Worst than little Cesar's!!! We gave up after eating two pieces. I've always been a HUGE fan of the whole Pizza My Heart experience - and when I heard that one was opening up in the Fremont Hub where the old Mod Pizza (pick your own toppings) I was really excited. I've been to several of the Pizza My Heart Bay Area locations, notably Santa Cruz, San Mateo, Dublin, San Jose. This new location mere miles away from home is a textbook location. The experience is identical from walking into any of the locations. Big glass case with all the pizza options, people working in the background making the pies, salads and drinks, and the register to pay. If you've been to one, you've pretty much been to 'em all. This location seemed oddly familiar, with much of the same layout that was used by the previous Mod Pizza - same seating arrangement, same bathrooms and drink fountain locations. Much of the background kitchen looked as it did when Mod occupied the space. The Pizza here was a little different than the pie I've eaten at other Bay Area locations. The crust was very VERY thin. Depending on your tastes, this can be a good or bad thing. I didn't mind, as it had a nice crunch and was durable enough to fold in true NY pizza style. Another notable difference was the red sauce at this location tastes much sweeter than I recall as compared to other locations. Again, this might be cause for heated, polarizing opinion - but I didn't mind it. The toppings were generous on our 2 slices, and we felt that it was well worth the price of admission ($6.70 + tax). Overall, this is a nice neighborhood addition and I'm relieved to see another pizza joint opening up in the same location as the one that closed beforehand. It can get noisy, especially so if there's an obnoxious cringe little jerk dude, with an obviously fake and over emphasized TV laugh track laugh nearby. He basically laughed at full volume right in my ear when I was waiting in line. It was a strange high pitched howling type that got deeper and louder as it trailed off. Very similar to the scene in Jaws where the old dude scraped his fingernails on the chalkboard. Moments later, fate, being the massive Biy-atch that she is, placed the obnoxious little Hobbit dude right at the table next to ours, where we were again treated to his over-the-top, too-loud, over-emphasized laugh where he was mainly laughing at his own jokes and "witty" comments. My take - the pizza is good, albeit different than other Pizza My Heart locations. If you've been to the previous Mod Pizza that used to occupy the same space, you're in for some massive deja vu sensations. There is no Spice Bomb mixture in a glass shake container on the counter as I've seen at select other locations. A solid and welcomed choice in this neck of the woods. *bonus tip* - bring earplugs if that loud little jerk-wad happens to be in there eating lunch at the same time as you are, laughing like an imbecile drunken hyena at his own crappy jokes and humorless comments. read more

Good pizza! Nice store, well staffed with nice folks, clean. I ordered a gluten free crust and it was much better than the cardboard most other pizzerias offer.
