My wife and I retuned to Blaze Pizza the other day for lunch. We both selected a " Build Your Own" pizza, so we could select the toppings we each prefer. It's such a joy to be able to pick exactly what you want on your pizza. We both also opted for the original crust with red sauce. Their service is always quick and the staff are helpful. We found a table and helped ourselves to soft drinks. Neither of us were able to finish the whole pizza, so we grabbed a box and brought them home to enjoy later. I came by to get pizza at a Friday night. There seems to be issues with service regarding to understaff and some attitude from one of the employees. I can see that there's a bunch of people waiting not just from getting their pizzas but even ordering them, which is probably why it took about 30 minutes to get mines. Regards to one of the staff members, they seem to have an overwhelming moment that they kinda carelessly throw toppings on some of the pizzas. I get that working there can be exhausting especially when there's like only 3 workers, but there's no need to throw toppings on the pizza like that. Also, the glass that borders the pizza ingredients is bent. I have no idea how that happened, but they should either fix it or replace it. No, I'm not reporting it because I'm not coming back. Ordered at 4:15pm. Order came out at 4:50pm. 35 mins. Don't order online, would've been faster to just line up. Missing ingredients. I really wanted to like this place because, honestly, the pizza is actually good--assuming they actually get your order right. Unfortunately, the "service" here is a total disaster and completely ruins the experience. It's a coin toss every time I order. Half the time the order is wrong, and the other half, I'm literally missing an entire pizza when the delivery arrives. How do you forget a whole pizza? The vibe inside is even worse. The staff looks absolutely miserable, like they're being forced to be there against their will. If you have the audacity to ask for extra toppings, they get incredibly rude and act like you're personally offending them. As they've continued to go downhill over the past few years in quality, topping generosity, consistency and cost, pretty much all they have left are their customizations. Blaze always hits! and extra hard on pie days. I went for the BOGO deal and they delivered as usual! I got the spicy red sauce and all the toppings with pesto and balsamic glaze. I show up a few minutes after I order and find out the meatballs weren't available. The worst part was the pizza. The ETA Of the pizza was 1:09 pm, 15 minutes after I placed the order. If there's a pizza you've loved in the past, but it's not on the menu board, they'll happily whip it up if they have the ingredients on hand. I recalled one with pesto and chicken and right away the cashier said "oh the green stripe! We can make it for you." Fresh ingredients on a super crispy crust. The side salad, specifically the BLT was packed! The caprese was a bit skimpy on the tomatoes but they were generous with the best part: the fresh mozzarella cheese. What happened to Blaze in Fremont??? We used to come here when the Build Your Own (BYO) was $8 and the line was out the door. Over the years, our visits decreased as the prices increased (but the line was still out the door whenever we drove by). We haven't been there in a while so decided to hit them up again last night (12/5). Now almost $15 for a BYO! Two parties in front of us, so virtually no line (the whole place was not crowded at all...maybe 5 tables were occupied and not that many more as our time at Blaze ticked on) but a lot of online orders were coming in. We ordered two BYO pizzas and no drinks ($31.51 total). The nice woman taking our order put ours in front of all the online orders. The guy making our pizzas was not rude but clearly in a hurry (so many online orders coming in). He was very skimpy on the toppings. I had to ask for a "few more artichoke hearts" and he put 1 (ONE) more on. 6 (six) tomato halves...just enough for one per slice! The onions were mostly just thrown in the middle of the pizza. And when I asked for garlic, I forgot to say "chopped" and he just automatically grabbed the roasted cloves. I tried to tell him "wait, no, the chopped garlic" but he was already throwing on the cloves while whirling around to put my pizza on a rack. I think my husband got three chunks of chicken on his pizza (I was so disgusted that I forgot to take a photo). The family of 4 (four) in front of us got their pizzas in normal time (5-ish minutes). Our pizzas somehow got mixed in on the pizza racks with the online orders and didn't go in the oven right away. Employees were horsing around and fist-bumping and generally ignoring customers. Our order was FINALLY ready a whopping 27 (TWENTY-SEVEN) MINUTES later! TWENTY-SEVEN!! The toppings have just gotten WAY chintzy and the service is less than mediocre. We didn't notice anything off with the cleanliness. We didn't get any drinks but we could see other customers who did and one of the drink dispensers on the soda machine was not working. Also I forgot what the juice is that they have but the orange one is ALWAYS low or empty, and no different last night. The new ETA has now been pushed to 11:01 PM -- that's a 90-minute wait for one pizza from a place that literally markets itself as "Fast Fire'd." Meanwhile my son and I are sitting here starving, watching the tracker like it's a hostage situation. DoorDash support has apologized more times than Blaze has flipped a pizza tonight. If you're staffed too thin to handle delivery orders, turn delivery off. Don't accept the order, don't take my money, and don't leave a hungry kid waiting an hour and a half for food that was supposed to be "fast." read more

I'm going to be generous and give them 3 stars. The first thing I'll say is with one exception, everyone seemed to be giving a reasonable effort - there was one guy who had a dgaf attitude. Line was a bit slow even with the "build your own" but not terrible. They were disorganized in the cooking. When we got there they only had one pizza in the oven at a time. However, that got up to 5 a few minutes later. The rack they stack them on for queueing got out of order, so they weren't being cooked in the order the order was taken. Also, they usually have a system where they match the little metal numbers they stick on your pizza with the paper they put in the box. Somehow that got screwed up too, so the guy taking the pizzas out and serving them got all screwed up (he was trying). Also, for some reason, no one scraped the burnt pizza remnants out of the oven. Every other Blaze I've been to does that every few minutes. They even had to refund someone else's pizza because it was so burnt. When I've been to other Blaze locations if you order a dessert, they put it in the oven and warm it for you. I ordered a brownie and asked if I could get a corner. The young lady at the register told me the only ones she had were pre-wrapped that day. And in fact she wouldn't sell me one (and I am happy she did this) because they weren't fresh. Not too crowded, but very loud, especially with the music. I lucked out and got the last cup lid, but it must have sucked for everyone after me. Also, one of the napkin dispensers had a ton of dust all around it like it hadn't been cleaned in - well long enough to build up a ton of dust. My pizza still tasted great. Bottom line: not thrilled, but not mad either. Wouldn't be my first choice to go back to, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay away either. read more

Too many incorrect orders, and today is the last for me. Whether it's online order, in-store, or delivery - I've received more incorrect orders than what I actually ordered. Today I was in store, the cashier put my ticket with my name on the box, I didn't open until I got home since I was in a rush and it's loaded with my specific allergens. And it's not just me, so many friends swear this location only hands off wrong orders. As someone with food allergies, it's literally throwing my money into the garbage. There were only two employees working, and both were unfriendly and unprofessional. If the manager(jessica) is extremely unprofessional and rude, what does that say about the establishment? When i went in i had to wait 10 minutes to even get started on the order since the employees were hiding in the back, when the employee did finally come (bigger mexican guy), he was extremely unprofessional and was on the phone while making my pizza. Apart from the terrible service, the store is a mess the line was extremely dirty and the trash cans were full with garbage leaking from the top. I used to come here when the white guy was manager, and it was my fav spot until the store turned into a mess. But ever since .management changed, the quality and cleanliness of the store have definitely gone down. We have been here three times and all three times the experience was horrible. Blaze is a chain so the food is just the same as all the other ones but the customer service here is the WORST. None of the employees have any basic manners. There were so many of them back there and none of them wanted to take our order. One time we ordered online and it took them ages to make it. We expected the delay to be because it was busy but when we went to pick up the order, the place was empty and the employees were all just standing around chatting. When they finally sent a text confirming our order was ready half the items were missing so we had to ask for them. The employees waved us off dismissively. No apology for the missing items. Nothing.
