Next was a baked ziti with sausage. El dente wasnt in the mix, ziti was boiled too far, sausage was thin sliced but alright, once again their sauce was doable in an Olive Garden kinda way. Waitstaff was efficient and friendly, their job made easier since we were the only people there at 5pm. Try again guys. I'll be back for a five star pizza.

Philly's specializes in cheesesteaks, and they have a variety of specialty steaks named after Philadelphia athletes and other things. For the recent Yelp check-in, I ordered the Broad Street Bully, which is high tier shaved ribeye, whiz, provolone, onions, peppers, mushrooms and pickles. There was so much steak and filling, it fell out of the super fresh hoagie roll when I tried to eat it. All of the ingredients were high quality. Delicious! Philly's is one of the very top spots for cheesesteaks in CT. I also had tasty crispy fries with whiz on the side. And the seriously delicious Phried Philly Bread dessert, which is sort of like bread pudding with ice cream and tasty sauce. Service was very friendly. There's some seating if you want to eat there. We pointed out the OLIVES and the male asked, "Do you want me to take it back?" (UMMMM - YES - CROSS CONTAMINATION!) The waitresses came over and were EXTREMELY APOLOGETIC and didn't know what else to say. Eventually, a replacement salad was delivered. It should not take 45+ minutes to get a simple hotdog "special". The other meal didn't even require cooking - it was mounds of tuna, macaroni and chicken salad on pita bread. Neither one of us finished our meals because at that point, we had lost our appetites. WHAT a WASTE of our time, money and drive to Marlborough from Hartford. We will not be returning! The pictures they posted on Facebook looked delicious. But mine came without the onions or cilantro which was a bit disappointing. Third time I ordered a birria pizza which took over an hour and was very undercooked. I was hoping the new owners would do well but I don't see that happening and unfortunately do NOT recommend this place.
