We were very pleasantly surprised to find this gem! The outside seating area is beautiful, they've got umbrellas for shade and flowers all around. We did decide to sit inside after being outside all morning. We started with the crab and lobster cakes special. It had caper aioli and OMG, it was delicious. It's a special, so it's probably not on the menu all the time. My husband had a Stromboli and I had the cheese pesto tortellini, both were large portions and very tasty. I took half of mine home and it made a great second meal. We did have to take a slice of cheesecake home and it was outstanding as well. Their wine list was very tempting, but we didn't try any of them. The service was great, too. Our server was attentive and very friendly, he always had a huge smile on his face and we felt genuinely welcomed by everyone there. STAY AWAY! I was really looking forward to trying this place. However, today I found out that they charge an ABSURD **18 percent** service fee ("Creating Happy People" fee) AND still encourage additional tipping. This is a clear example of how tipping has gotten absolutely out of hand in recent years. Didn't notice until the end, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered at all. It's such a shame because the food was actually good and the waitress was very friendly. But there is no way I could ever justify this. Never again. read more

First visit here. Loved it! Excellent food, very fair price. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta is imported from Italy and is very good. Meatballs and sauce was as well. I really liked their ambiance, they have soft music playing so you can talk easily and fresh roses on the table. Wow, how nice. Service was excellent, we will most definitely be back. It had been a couple years since we'd eaten at Pizza Pasta Villa so we decided to stop in since we liked our last experience. Previously the food was authentic, service was great, and we enjoyed our dinner. This time our experience was awful; hands down one of the worst dining experiences. We waited at the front area and had three employees ask why we were there - had to explain repeatedly we wanted to be seated for dinner. The restaurant closed at 8PM and we arrived at 7:10PM. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there - we even offered to leave it they were not seating anymore. The stale bread was spilled all over our table and they did not bring the dipping oil. It took forever to get food so when we received our appetizer - burrata, basil and tomato - we requested more bread. They did not have any more bread - really? Our dinner order was lost and greatly delayed so our waitress offered another appetizer at no charge. The calamari appetizer was probably the best item we had. The three shrimp scampi dishes finally arrived, but not my husband's lasagna. Nobody checked back and it took us forever to flag down someone to get the lasagna. The shrimp scampi was awful - no garlic, tasteless and the pasta was sitting in a ton of fluid. Like bland soup. Strangest shrimp scampi ever. The lasagna was flavorful and hearty. We wanted to leave so we skipped dessert. While we were paying our bill, two younger staff were clearing and resetting tables. They started to fight and throw silverware and table linens around and then one slammed down a wine glass next to our table and glass flew everywhere, including next to our table. Really an expensive and disappointing experience. We will not be back - ever. read more

Finally tried this new incredible place in our hood! We had Pasta al Forno, Spinach Ravioli, Caesar salad and gluten free chocolate cake for dessert. Sauce is out of this world amazing! We will become regulars here! Can't wait to try other menu items. read more

Wow!! Trust the reviews you read - 5 Stars is earned and deserved here.(Let me just start this out by getting that out of the way.) I had a very late afternoon appointment with my dermatologist and afterwards, was ready for some grub to celebrate being done with this situation. On the way home and thinking how much I really wanted to try something new so, where do I go? Why, Yelp 'restaurants near me' of course! This name popped up and I saw there were only 7 reviews all 5 star. Yes, that caught my attention immediately. Had to give this a try and from the moment I walked in until the moment I enjoyed a mini cannoli at home from take-away, I was so happy I did. While I was sad to see the previous tenant had closed shop, I was happy a new restaurant had come in it's place. Walking in you feel like you are walking into a familiar space that is full of good memories, good food, and old friends. It just has that vibe, seriously. I can't explain it but, it does! The staff was quick to greet and seat me and my friend and made quick work of lighting the small oil lamp at the table just adding to that overall cozy ambiance I had already been feeling. It felt like being back in Italy in a very good way. Our server was Soul (we heard it as Raul but, the receipt showed otherwise) and we were also attended to by 3 other servers throughout the night, all of them genuinely friendly and happy to be there. Soul was quick to offer his suggestions for my wine and to offer to start us off with their breadsticks with olive oil and balsamic along with a little something extra I have never seen a restaurant do - finely minced garlic on the side and yes, I did eat most of that garlic! And, of course, there was marinara that was amazingly fresh and delicious. The breadsticks are small twists and are the perfect size for enjoying without getting too full to eat your meal. I decided on the Capellini Primavera Aglio E Olio. Being a vegetarian has it's challenges but, I love a simple pasta dish such as this. Next time I would definitely try the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and thMy friend decided on the Spaghetti and Meatballs AND Sausage which is not exactly listed on the menu but, was easily accommodated. We also had the Italian Salad as recommended by our server and I don't think I have ever had such a good salad dressing at any other time. Again, I can't explain what it was but, this dressing needs to be bottled! It was so fresh, light, and just the perfect mix of oil and vinegar to the point that neither one overshadowed the other. I wanted to eat so much more salad because of this! Soon after, our dinners arrived and I was greeted with a dish full of fresh, vibrant veggies and perfectly cooked and seasoned pasta with olive oil. Simple but so satisfying. My friend enjoyed the meatballs and sausage spaghetti as well; having the sausage come sliced vs in big chunks as is the norm was a very pleasant surprise as well. By now, there were many more diners who had arrived and only 2 tables on our side remained open. The happy chatter between them and the servers was fun to experience and made me in no hurry to leave. There is something about sitting in a restaurant with happy people who are all sharing a common bond at that moment. No worries, no raised voices, no politics - just good company and good food; what more could you ask for? Oh right, dessert! You could ask for dessert! And we were asked if we would like any, of course. The selection was presented to us in a glass case as we walked to our seat so, we had an idea of what we may want to take home with us. We went all in for the chocolate cake because I just can't resist. Soul had recommended the mini cannoli but, the cake won out. To our surprise, he arrived with our cake along with another container of two mini cannoli with a small cup of the cannoli filling as a gift to us. Yes, he won my heart even more with this gesture - and I was already smitten and planning my next visit! For a restaurant that has only been open for a month, they certainly gave the impression of having been doing this for years and doing it well. It is so wonderful to see a new local business coming out of the gates at 5 star quality from top to bottom. I wish them the very best and can't wait to come back for another taste of delicious food prepared with love and service that makes me feel like family. read more

Pizza Pasta Villa was sold November 2024. The new management & service is pitiful. On June 30th 2025 three of us ate at Pizza Pasta Villa because we had previously eaten there several times and loved the food & service. My boyfriend and his father ordered a special which came with a side salad. They brought the 2 salads and my dinner but I didn't want to eat my dinner until my boyfriend and his dad got theirs because I would be done with it before they got theirs. Then I realized it was not even what I ordered. I had ordered a pasta dish with shrimp. I asked if they would bring me a complimentary small salad that I could eat while the men were eating their salads since they made a mistake and brought the wrong dinner to me. The waitress said she would. Later a young female dressed in blue jean short shorts and & a cropped hard rock concert T- shirt with her bare belly exposed came to my table and told me she cannot bring me the salad. I told her the waitress said she would and they should stick to their word. I asked for the manager and was shocked when she said, " I am the manager". I gave my dinner back to them since they brought me the wrong dinner then the dinners came out for the men. They did not want to eat theirs in front of me and their dinner got cold while I was waiting for my correct dinner. Then they brought the shrimp only without the pasta dinner. When my pasta dinner did come out, we realized there was no salt, parmesan cheese or red pepper shaker on our table. Because of the managers sarcastic attitude, we didn't want to bother anyone so my boyfriend headed to the store to buy salt. Someone overheard this and only then where condiments were brought to the table. The attire of the manager and staff is what you'd see at a high school football game and the manager needs training in customer service, manners, timing and sequence of bringing food out. This place used to have class but that has changed with the recent new management. The food was good but the service was terrible. read more

Are server did a great job tonight. He put together a great setting for my wife and me. The food was great as usual. They had a new appetizer lobster and crab cakes that was very delicious. I'm so glad this restaurant opened! This is the best pizza in the Bear Creek area; for our first visit we ordered the classic Stromboli, bread sticks, capri and Genoa pizzas and they were all very good! Perfectly thin crusts that stayed crispy even with all of the toppings and the Stromboli dough was rolled very thin which highlights vs overwhelms the filling. We will definitely keep ordering from here. The service is quick and our order was 100% correct. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would but at least 1 is required to make this post. The fettuccine tastes like 2 pound of salted butter tossed in noodles. Bread stickers were hard as a rock. Pizza was cold/bland and tasted like the sauce came out of a jar from the dollar tree. There used to be an Italian restaurant at this location about 15 years ago so I was excited to try the NEW Italian restaurant that took its place all these years later.....HUGE mistake. Save yourselves the waste of money and eat ANYWHERE else. Little Caesars has a higher recommendation from me than this place. read more

We were very disappointed at our last visit. We have been here many times with friends and always had good service and food. The experience last night was horrible. The entrees arrived at different times and one entree was never received because we were told that another waiter had stolen the meal for his customer. After not receiving the meal until we had all finished our meal, the waiter offered us a 50% discount off the meal. (It was almost ready and was going to be boxed to go) We were told we would get bread with our meal which we had to ask for after some of us had been served our meals. I don't know if the business has been sold but something was really off last night. read more

Alright, here's the deal: my family visited PPV and we ordered pasta dishes which were all very good. In fact I thought their lasagna was outstanding. Not long afterward we found ourselves hankering for a hunk of pizza so we decided to try theirs and ordered delivery. I am sorry to report that the pizza was sorely lacking. Soggy, thin and rubbery. With so many options for pizza available in this area you really need to step up your game in this department. With a name like 'Pizza Pasta Villa' we expected the pizza to be at least as good as their pasta dishes. Instead we were left with small, droopy, substandard pies. However I would recommend their pasta dishes anytime. read more

This review is based solely on service as up until now this has been a staple in our dining out excursions and have loved the food. Tonight we were seated in a mostly empty restaurant but after 10 minutes not a single soul came over to acknowledge us or take our order. No manager on site to discuss service issue. The 3 staff at the window stated one of the girls was supposed to be our server. Her excuse was she was waiting on a other table in another part of restaurant. When I say this restaurant was empty, I mean empty! Not one other table had patrons in the front. And apparently team work is not in the staffs vocabulary. Sadly although thus has been one of my husband's favorite places they have permanently lost customers today. read more

The staff has been friendly and efficient every time, and the dining area is clean and has an Italy feel. The restaurant is close to my house, so it's easy to just pop in for dinner. Recently had dinner on a Monday nite and was so happy and excited to finally find an authentic Sicilian Italian restaurant that met my standards, I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago with fantastic Italian cuisine. The food well exceeded my expectations. Some of the best Italian food my wife and I have ever had. I just didn't see that coming. I had the Villa's "Bolognese" Lasagna and my wife had the Spinach Ravioli. The Ingredients were fresh including the salads and the bread was warm and fresh as if they made it especially for us. We had the mini Cannoli's for dessert. I don't usually get a dessert but after last night, I'll start leaving room. The service from Saul was exceptional. He made us feel special. As to the ambiance, we were seated at a table for two and were able to enjoy our conversation without having to speak in loud voices. The surroundings were very nice.
