Haven't been to a Pizza Plus in over 10 years, since I moved to Phoenix. We arrived at 11:15 and there were a dozen others eating already. We ordered a light lunch: chicken fingers for me and potato skins for her. It came to $16.33. I think they had to make the skins fresh cuz it took 15 mins to arrive. The chicken fingers were interesting: they were exactly the same shape and size. Years back, they pounded them thin so they had good crunch factor. Now they are thick (think half-breast of a small chicken). The potato skins were good but rather small. A good ratio of potato, cheese and bacon was used. We had asked for the ranch on the side, for dunking. It was a bit steep on the price tho. All-in-all, a step down from Pizza Plus 11 years ago but still pretty good overall. read more

Today at 1/03/2023 6:01 pm my order #71 was completed. Everything was good except some fries weren't cooked fully but we still ate them without complaining about it. All was good in till we realized that our pineapple pizza with jalapeños was missing. I wasn't going to call over one pizza. BUT the WINGS! No sauce on them at all. I could literally see the plain chicken meat and they were rock solid. But the Nitro wings were good but still really light on sauce. We had bbq sauce in the fridge so put that on the dry wings. At this point I wasn't going to call. But then I remembered that the last time I ordered something big from the same store I didn't even get my ranch or carrots or celery. And my family is big on ranch with pizza. So after remembering this I decided to call them. Before that I told myself being rude is not going to get you anywhere. But I wish I was because I was accused of lying from the manger/supervisor Cheryl or Sheryl. From the start she said we picked up the pizza 2 hours late which was not true because in fact, I live, not even 3 miles away. We were told pizza our will be ready in 30 and we went at 45ish minutes to pick it up. So she obviously really isn't fit for a high position like this. But went along with it because I thought if I disagreed I would get hung up immediately an not end up getting my pineapple pizza I ordered. You could just tell/hear from the tone of her voice that she did not care at all. No sorry or my mistake from her mouth at all. Instead she said "I looked at the pizza myself before we sent it out and everything was fine". And I thought to myself so the under cooked fries are good and the under seasoned wings were good . And the combo pizza that was supposed to be pineapple with jalapeños was good! But all I was asking for was my pineapple pizza since it was the birthday boy's favorite. Forward to the end of call. We didn't get anywhere and she obviously didn't care. She finally interrupted me and said bye. Then she went silent. Waiting for me to say something. Before she hung up. And I did I said, "Thank you so much ,God Bless you". After that nothing was said back from her just the noise of her breathing and hanging up. What a way to treat someone who comes in often and has the VIP thing. Whatever you do don't go to the location on prater way. And avoid being served by Jacqueline B. An may I mention when asked for the manger she sounded just like the person who picked up the phone. Never ordering anything of any sorts in till I get my pineapple pizza I was charged for. Go in on a typical day and see how much of a disappointment it is now. It's always dirty when I visit and the salad bar is always horrendous. oh yeah, forgot to include how unsanitary the bathrooms are. And watch out because they don't wear gloves and handle trash and then handle you're food. Just look at some of the reviews people. being from the "Bay Area" this was My first time here I was skeptical just seamed like a off the wall pizza place, since I never heard of it, but to my surprise , the thin style pizza was good and it came as a combo platter of wings, steak fries, and chicken strips! Whaaaaat! Dam good idea that's was like $40 or so, dam good price! The service was super good everybody was nice even customers family oriented, the tables were cleaned up promptly as customers left, the food was good soda was fresh, I wish they had one out in the Bay Area! We love pizza plus, normally. Long story short, our family is leaving reno, and wanted to get one of our favorite local pizzas before we leave. After 3 days of trying to call in for a lunch order (between 10:30a and noon, multiplecalls each day), always to not be answered. No voicemail, nothing. I've been trying to call the business for 30 minutes since they opened and either it's busy or they don't answer the phone! Hard to order pizza's when they don't answer the phone. Something for management to keep in mind. I've called a competitor and they answered the phone and got my order. Ordered for a group lunch the day of - they answered the phone at 9 o'clock and helped me out tremendously by agreeing to bring 5 large pizza's and wings. Delivery driver was right on time, food was hot & delicious. Ordered the Carnvivore, the Hawaiian, the combo, etc. First let me say that much pizza feeds way more than the 12 people I had at the meeting. I think at least 2 were untouched, along with 1/2 the wings. Not for lack of trying, and better to have too much than not enough. We will continue to order from Pizza Plus because they take care of our people who are on call 24/7. read more

I ordered the party package over the phone last Saturday and Vanessa was awesome helping me make up my mind, I'm so indecisive. She was patient with me and knowledgeable about the menu and even noted to have extra wing sauce ECT and all was delivered five minutes early last Sunday to our daughter's fourth birthday party at Jump Man Jump. Pizza Plus for me is the best in Sparks because of what all they offer. When you combine their pizza, award winning wings, and steaks fries they are fantastic. Do they have the best pizza alone probably not. Especially when comparing to basically pizza only places like Blind Onion. But even when lined up against such places they hold their own. Do they have the best wings? Yes for a pizza place no one else competes. Do they have the best steak fries? Yes again. So now if you combine good pizza with bomb wings and bomb fires that my friends makes it the best. So if you're looking for a good place for a party to enjoy more than just pizza this is your spot. If you grew up in Sparks, then you know Pizza Plus is where it's at. Not the best pizza in town, but definitely my favorite wings in town (if I want them classic style- i.e. not Wingstop). This place is comparably priced, has THE BEST ranch, steak fries can be hit or miss, pizza is good (just not the best but will easily satisfy your pizza craving), and the wings are absolutely wonderful. The sauces are so good. I usually get the spicy flavor. It is spicy enough to add some heat to the wings, but not too spicy that your lips burn and have to eat them slow. Besides the fries, the quality of the food is consistent. Sometimes you can get fries that weren't fried enough or over fried. I've gotten mine under cooked more times than overcooked. Their pizza is better than all the fast food chains (Little Caesars, Dominos, etc) and not too greasy. Their wings are top notch. I only eat wings from here or Wingstop, depending on my mood. I only recently started going to Wingstop. Growing up, I only ate wings from here. They're that good. This place is usually busy, so I suggest calling ahead to place your order and pick up. On average, the wait is 25-35 minutes. The atmosphere is busy. I wouldn't come here if I wanted to relax. There are usually lots of families with loud kids or groups of friends eating here so in general, the place is loud. It's a great environment if you are looking for a place to eat with a large party (family or friends). Whenever my friends and I get together, we order from here. Overall, if you're craving pizza and wings, this is easily your best choice. read more

The attraction to this place is the price of the party packs. We fed an army of kids and adults for about $150.00. We got a bunch of pizza and a huge platter of wings. The staff acomadated us with no issue except the food came out at intervals which is understandable considering how much we ordered. The place itself seems to be set up to cater to large groups and is not super fancy. Bathrooms need a bit of attention but again the place was packed the whole time we were there. People use bathrooms. The pizza is a step above dominos and almost as good as round table. The ingredients themselves are probably not as great of quality but definitely not horrible. I have always loved pizza plus! Always a great deal, pizza, fries, wings... all for a great price. They are always so friendly when you call and order... even at 6pm on a Friday! I have never had a bad experience here and to be honest my food is always delivered earlier than expected... including big fight nights. My food is always right, always hot, and always yummy! YES, First time visit!! (and maybe last) This is a place I have really been wanting to try because I have heard so many great things about the other locations (Not this one)....especially their fries and wings! I would first like to start with the food which is always the best subject to start with most of the time :)... Food was pretty good. We had the #2 ($37.89) which comes with a large pizza, wings (half bucket) and steak fries (More than enough food for 4 people) and we ate every last bite of it LOL!! Fries had a light crunch to them and were flavored just right which gave them a great taste; especially when you dip in to the ranch. The cheese pizza was amazing and very cheesy but once it got cold; the cheese became tough to chew and all of the cheese will pull off of the pizza when you try to take a bite so be sure to enjoy it while it's warm. The wings were okay compared to Wing Stop but not bad; I've had worse. The sauce, we went with the original 'Mild' and to be honest; it really didn't have much taste and there was no hint of 'heat'. If your sensitive to heat then I would stick to this but if you like a little heat; I would suggest going up one notch so that you can really enjoy. Facility had a lot of seating, game room, salad bar and restrooms. Customer (us): "Hi there, good afternoon how are you...." Response from order taker: "Hi, what would you like?" (in a cold tone) One thing that really turned us off was how rude the person behind the counter was who took our order. Management should evaluate and consider putting her in another position where she does not have to deal with the general public. After our initial encounter, we almost opted to just walk out but said that maybe she was just having a bad day and let it go. Again, a different person who brought our food out to us was also rude! She called out my name so I got up to get the food from her and I said "hey thanks, I really appreciate you bringing the food over" Not a word from her.... Then, she came over again to bring our wings and fries and once again, I said "thanks again and have a great day!" Again, not a smile or thanks... nothing.... The pizza tastes like pizza should, the fries are crispy like fries should be, and the wings end up all over my wife's clothes like everything else she eats (I love you baby). My boss placed an order at about 1PM for pizzas with wings to be delivered right before 6PM. 6:56PM, and the food still isn't here. Considering it was for our pizza party for Superbowl, and we get a limited amount of time for lunch, time was an issue - hence placing the order hours beforehand. When my boss called to complain, the manager was full of excuses and finally said, "I don't care." You don't care? I've been eating at Pizza Plus since I was a little kid. If I could offer a single piece of advice to anyone planning on eating here, I'd say the scariest location in town is also the best Pizza Plus to eat at or order from. Yes, that would be the location at 2110 Oddie Boulevard. Right next to the pawn shop and the loan center. After you finish your meal, you can take out a payday loan and buy a gun. It's unfortunate that there are inconsistencies among the locations in Reno/Sparks because they really do make a good pizza and their other offerings are also quite good. They have good steak fries with a nice seasoning, tasty little chicken wings with a nice sauce, and some crispy chicken fingers that are always pleasant. With all that being said, you won't get that all the time. I don't know if it is the management, the cooks, the customers, the moon's alignment with Saturn, but it's a gamble sometimes. At its best I could argue that it is one of my favorite pizza places in town. At its worst, I could consider never returning. I think it's the 20+ history I have with the place is what keeps me coming back even after I have a poor encounter. If I had to rate the locations I've visited, Oddie is always #1, Prater #2, Vista #3 and the Mae Anne & Sierra Highlands location is a distant 4th. If you're brave enough to eat at the Oddie restaurant, you won't regret it. read more

If we could give it no stars at all, we would. Whoever is answering the calls tonight at 7/26/15 at 7:13 pm, should never work customer service. My boyfriend was on the phone with her first, he literally had to repeat his phone number more than 7 times. She kept asking the same question over and over and he was on the phone with her for probably 2-3 mins already and still hasn't gotten to say our first order (we wanted to order 4 different items). Then he hands me the phone, and she starts naming off things we didn't even ask for or wanted. The first order was a medium pizza with creamy garlic ranch sauce with chicken, bacon, and pineapple. She was literally stuck on the creamy garlic ranch part for over 3 mins. Kept saying different sauces that I DIDN'T WANT. Then I say with chicken, bacon, and pineapple. She starts to say, "Okay..so medium pizza with..." So I say, "chicken, bacon, and pineapple." (For the third time by now.) Then she goes, "okay....so medium pizza with..." At this point I say, "I really need to repeat myself again?" So I ask if there's anyone else that can take my order and they're so busy so I just hung up. We've ordered from here plenty of times and have never had this much trouble. Over the phone for over 7 mins at least and never even got more information than just our phone number. Went to this pizza place last night and had a generally bad experience. Have ordered to go from here a few times and never had a problem but made the mistake of eating at the restaurant last night, which will NEVER happen again. Ordered a pizza and platter of wings and various other things. They brought the pizza out quick. The two other families we were with said that it takes them a while to bring the platter out, so I didn't think much of it at first. Then we started seeing the people who came 45 minutes after us get their food. We had ordered 45 minutes ago and had already finished the pizza. My wife went up to the young girl at the counter and asked where the rest of our food was. The girl had a huge attitude, A's said it was already delivered because they didn't have the ticket any more. My wife asked for the manager, who eventually got our food out, with no apology. All my wife got was attitude and rudeness. Aside from that the food was good but we will never eat at the place again because of the rudeness, attitude and incompetence. This restaurant has really gone down hill in customer service. I "had" been a customer with Pizza Plus for 28 yrs until today! Not only was I rudely hung up on when I called to place my order with an employee who could not fully understand the English language, but I had to call back again to finish my order with a different employee who quoted me 3 separate prices on 1 combo choice which in turn made me change my order to something less expensive. I then called back an additional time to verify my order total with a "manager" and explained what had occurred during both calls. I was told that my order would be corrected to the original order and quoted price and that it would be arriving in 45 minutes to 1 hour. 1 hour later I received a phone questioning my soda choice because they were out of what I purchased. I questioned how this would even matter when my order was already on it's way to be delivered at anytime and I was told that the delivery driver had not even left. Therefore, my order that was placed at 1:38pm did not even arrive until 3:19pm. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF SKILLED EMPLOYEES. read more

When in Reno.. Came in on mother's day with mom. Our first time here. We got the veggie deluxe, it was hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The people working here were super nice and friendly. I'm not a big ranch fan but I saw everyone on yelp raving about it so I asked and they threw it in for free. (It's a tub o ranch and some fresh veggies, which they usually charge for) They even gave my mom a hand made flower for moms day. Nice touch!
