Pizza Scene is EVERYTHING! Great pizza, great garlic knots, just GREATNESS all around. It reminds me so much of NYC pizza. They really hit it on the nail. I love the tomato, basil pie but their other pies are great too. The garlic knots are soft, hot, and oiled up...OoO yeaaaa! They make the pizza fresh and they offer various pie sizes too. Just ordered the baked ziti with meatballs here. The price is not what they quoted (they added a dollar at checkout) on the menu and they told me three meatballs would be in the dish and instead they only had two. When I asked the store manager about it, she snipped back at me that they had changed their policies and that was that. No offer to make it right. HORRIBLE customer service and seriously bland food. Hello , I work at Opa Locka Airport , and we called on Christmas Day to order a few pizzas to feed our tower controllers ,air rescue crew , fire crew ,and police crew working today , I spoke with Gloria and she was extremely helpful ,and assisted me in finding a way to get the pizzas out here because we were just outside the delivery area. They also made the delivery as soon as possible and just went out of their way to help us feed the whole crew working this holiday ! She took her time explaining the menu to me and walked me through getting the best bang for our buck. Great little pizza place in Miami Lakes on Main street. When I lived a couple of blocks away I would order from here more often. I think this is one of the best pizza places in the area. I prefer to order a whole pie since it's fresh. When you go and order a slice sometimes is just sitting there a bit and not as fresh. Their garlic rolls are good as well and they have a bigger menu to order from. The physical location is small but you can sit inside or outside. They have a TV as well. Staff has been friendly when I have been there and its a great spot since you have the movies there and other spots to eat or get dessert. I will keep coming here and I recommend this to others as well. read more

We ordered Stromboli's and a cheese pizza tonight for dinner. They are so good. Food was great. We had delivered the order delivered like always and the delivery driver was friendly. With that said delivery fee is a bit high $6.22. I was a little disappointed when ordering antipasto salad and chicken wings was not available on the website along with few other things. read more

Always stop by here for my lunch break! Tiny spot meant for a quick bite or takeout orders. The reason I come here is because of their awesome lunch specials you seriously can't beat! Monday through Friday they have different choices each day and about five different dishes to choose from. Top choices for me are the baked ziti with chicken and chicken Alfredo pasta. They always put a lot more chicken than you would expect for a lunch special! Not to mention it comes with three garlic rolls. Genuinely surprised at the pizza quality of this small shop. Walked in off the street and ordered two slices. They were NYC style with crisp bottoms and stretchy cheese. Slices will run you between $3-$4 each. If Dave from Barstool Sports did a pizza review here he would think it's pretty good I'm confident of that! It's average for NYC standards but very good for being in Miami so it definitely deserves 4/5 read more

There's a quote that I believe in and it says that pizza when it's good , it's real good. And when it's bad it's still pizza. With that being said, the pizza here is always consistent enough for me to come back. It's fresh, cheesy, saucy , and VERY hot. I brought my little brother recently after summer camp and he was very happy with the pizza. The tall gentleman at the counter was friendly. Pizza scene is a great spot! They have the best wings in all of Miami, I know that's a lofty statement, but I stand by it. Firstly, their wings are baked in the pizza oven naked, not deep fried. Baking them gives you a wing that is not greasy and still leaves the skin lightly crispy. Then the inside of the wing is juicy and soft, plus they use the right amount of salt and pepper which makes the taste out of this world. These wings are simply made and that's what makes them special, they don't need a whole lot of hoopla, a million seasonings, or anything fancy. This place is really small with about 3 tables inside and some tables outside. Inside had a lot of cool pictures and had a Italian restaurant look to it. The garlic rolls were pretty good, not big, but they had a good garlic sauce to it which I did enjoy. However, that's the only thing I enjoyed. The pizza had a bit of a crunch to it which I personally enjoy, but it was lacking a good balance of cheese and sauce. The sauce was over bearing and it was sweet sauce at that. Which I absolutely cannot stand! I came here with my gf and my brother and we all shared the pizza. By the end of the night all of our stomachs was acting up and in the morning my brother had rash breakout. Most likely the pizza that I was given had some expired or close to expired sauce on it. Never coming to this place again as I've had better pizza from little caesars than this place. read more

I have been at Pizza Scene a few times before, and it's been good, but today, I did not have a pleasant experience. We usually order a large pizza half cheese and half onions. The latter showed burnt, not caramelized as the cook tried to explained, as I know the difference and especially when I ate the one of the 4 with onions, I tasted it, I confirmed it they were burned. I understand it can happen, so I tried to be nice and understanding when I approached the server to explain. I was there with my teenage daughter and her friend. I explained my concern and showed the cook that 3 out of the 4 slices were not acceptable and if she could replace them, as I was going to have my 2nd slice and each of the girls were having another one. I did not care if they were either cheese as the rest of our pizza or onions. The cook tried to "negotiate" the replacement trying to convince me that she can do 2 single slices instead, because they were bigger. After some back and forth, I thought she understood and agreed to do 3 slices but they only sent 2 to the table and they were definitely not as appealing as they usually look, and for sure not any bigger than the ones I returned. In other words, they did what they wanted and did not listen to me, the customer, when I voiced my dissatisfaction. End result, I ended up with only 4 tasty cheese slices of pizza from the original large pizza, one that I ate with burnt onions, and 2 additional ones that were not up to expectations, and needless to say, short one from the large 8 slices that I ordered. Definitely not the customer service that I was expecting. read more

Horrible service. Ordered pizza at 8:40 for my kids through their website. Received email and text messages confirming order estimated delivery time and even delayed time by 10:00 pm. It is 10:30 pm never got my pizza despite getting a text at 9:51 pm that it was on its way. Wow, Miami Lakes is pretty. One of the reasons I started up the Eat Like A Local series was to explore parts of Miami-Dade that had nothing to do with South Beach and/or Brickell. It really is a big, interesting metro area if you allow it to be. What Miami Lakes may lack in nightlife, it makes up for in physical beauty (gorgeous tree-lined streets, nice parks, planned communities, and good, reliable pizza. What made me drive from South Beach to Miami Lakes for a slice? Well, the reviews spoke for themselves and pizza was pretty hit or miss around my parts so on a Saturday, there are worse things than to eat pizza in good weather. I'm so happy I made the trip. First off, the people who work here are really nice. In another part of the country, such a statement is trite... unnecessary. In Miami, it's a selling point. So, nice people. You'll want to arrive at an off-peak time and not with a whole lot of people. There's not much seating inside. Outside space competes with two or three nearby businesses, so on a busy day, you might be out of luck for seating. Come solo or get the food to go because you're going to want to get this food. Start with the garlic knots. Dripping with oil and coated in garlic, these bites are decadent, sinful and addicting. Get your own order. You won't want to share. You can order by the slice from the standards, specialty or you can make your own. I made two of my own slices: onion, bacon, sausage & pepperoni, green pepper, extra cheese. Both slices were fantastic, fresh (duh) and on a wonderfully flat, somewhat crisp crust. I also enjoyed the red sauce and cheese/type consistency. I know these descriptors sound weird but when you want pizza, don't you want to know these things? If in Miami, you should check it out, at least, once. I'm glad I did. read more

I do not have enough great things to say about Pizza Scene. It's a family owned business and you can tell that there's a lot of love poured into each pie. You'll probably think I'm exaggerating because it's just New York style pizza, but even in its simplicity, everything from the sauce, to the crispy crust, and the perfectly caramelizad cheese is comforting. My husband and I are regulars here because they are consistent, delicious, and the staff is personable and welcoming. We were fortunate enough to take a pizza-making class with them and the experience was so memorable and informative, but also community-building. We got to make pizza and have great conversations with strangers, and learn about the family behind the business. This isn't a regular pizza chain, it's a business built by regular people that have a love for good food and want others to build memories and enjoy family time around it.
