And they were fair about it and they have a sign out by the front door that said the wait for the pizza was an hour and 15 minutes. We got multiple pies and they were all good. The Greek salad and. This place came highly recommended so I expected great things! Unfortunately, we left disappointed. We got a cheese pizza and Hawaiian pizza. Neither had much flavor and the pizza was very thin. As you can see in the photo, they have an outdoor area for eating, which is perfect this time of year with beautiful weather. They also have a few tables inside. We didn't need table service so I'm not sure if they have it; you order sit down and they bring your food. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The vibe is fun and upbeat which you realize as soon as you park. We opted for inside seating; the music was just a smidge loud, but fun. Pizza: Thin crust, Chicago style isn't usually my preference; however, this was probably the best thin crust Pizza I've ever had. The restaurant is casual with a beach feeling. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Inside they have a gas rotation oven. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ordered a salad first with extra dressing. It was very fresh. We even noticed the salad station was very clean and organized. We had a large pizza AMI. It was very good. We received what I would call "stank face" and coldness. We (being an all Asian group) didn't get recognized at all when we ordered. Small but mighty! We are self proclaimed pizza snobs and stopped in here our first day on the island, while we waited for our beach house to be ready for the week. We got a cheese and margarita and both were fantastic! My husband, who's from NY, and very particular about his pizza, said it was some of the best pizza he's ever had. My 9 YO so who usually only eats 1 slice, he had 3 and asked if we could order more. Highly recommend! This place is not a typical tourist pizza joint. I almost always try a margherita pizza the first time visiting, as I did here. This was superb!! AMI is where I love to come and just enjoy the island atmosphere, I'm about an hour away from the north end of the island. You do pay a lil more but it is a tourist area.
