This is probably the best pizza I've had in Rochester. It's as good as that thin crust NY pizza place you crave. The hubs and I got a meatball and banana pepper pizza. The crust was perfect and crispy but soft where you wanted it to be. Toppings were really good and the seasoning was awesome. I really liked their red sauce. The hot wings were perfect and you don't get those half broken wings you get from a lot of other places. We live in greece, but not to where they deliver unfortunately, so it's rare we get this pizza since we have to pick it up :( read more

The service was fast and friendly. Easy parking in strip mall. The Garlic knots are some of the best things ever - Drenched in garlic butter/parm - so afraid that I am going to crave these now. Had this location more than a few times and it is bomb! I get the pizza wing combo extra sauce on pizza, extra crispy extra sauce on wings for buffalo medium and it is the best I have had. the flavor is intense plus the big wings and pizza is def good size Nothing bad to say about this place def my go to spot if its a pizza night.. read more

I normally love this place, the service and their pizza is usually wonderful. However on my way to a friend's house after a funeral I stopped in late to get pizza. They had a few pies made and I asked for the whole pie. They said they could make me a fresh one but I said no thank you as I'm just leaving a funeral and meeting a few friends and would just like the premade one for times sake as we were all exhausted emotionally. He charged me $25 I said what??? He said I'm charging you by the slice because now we have to make another pie for slices. I said you would have to make another whole pie anyways! He SCOFFED at me and rolled his eyes. I will never go there again which is sad because I do love their pizza.... but that person treated me like crap when I was having a terrible night after saying goodbye to a beautiful friend who left this earth too early because of cancer. I just wanted to have a few slices of pizza with my friends. Very sad night and very sad to say goodbye to this place. There are several other solid pizza places near them that will now get my business and all of my friends because of how I was treated that night. read more

I really love the pizza here and have had excellent service when ordering slices to go. However, I had family in town tonight and recommended this place to them and am now embarrassed I suggested this place. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 dozen wings with hot sauce and spent over $70 only to realize when we got home that the wings were never dressed, just fried plainly and put in the container. When we called to tell them, they only offered to give us sauce if we drove back to pick it up ourselves and put it on the wings they gave us (which would then be cold). I asked if it would be possible to get any kind of future credit or reimbursement for the $22 in wings that were never made right, but they said no, picking up sauce was the only thing they could do for us. I totally understand getting orders wrong, but I definitely thought this establishment would have done more to fix their mistake. It's unfortunate and I will not be going back here or recommend it to anyone. read more

My wife ordered large thick crust pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms with an order of garlic knots. She gets home to find the pizza was NY style thin crust. The cost was over $37.00. Looking at the online menu I can't even back into the numbers. Large NY style with 2 toppings and garlic knots would be $29.00. Same for half sheet Sicilian (thick crust). A large stuffed crust with 2 toppings and garlic knots is $31. None of those equals what she was charged. Another review on here is spot on with the crust taste - it tastes like a plain cracker. Garlic knots were great - smothered in cheese. Pizza was horrible with tasteless cracker crust with hardly any toppings. Save your money and drive down Long Pond and get a better tasting pizza from Little Caesars! read more

I hate to leave poor ratings because the pizza is very good. However, the service at the Greece location is terrible. We order from them every other week and normally it goes very smoothly but today I called to order and the young man answering the phone was very rude so I asked to speak with a manager and when Brian, the manager got on the phone he proceeded to tell me that the other man was not rude but was just monotone. I asked him to cancel our order and when I did he hung up on me. I am a very civil person and I expect the same in return. We ordered from Salvatore's and we will not be ordering from this location again. read more

Good, not great, NY-style pizza. Not the same as the Pizza Stop downtown, but that's okay. It's still not far behind and the service I experienced was excellent. The cashier was so friendly and willing to put anything on the slice before she put it into the over. Inexpensive, friendly and pretty authentic NY-style pizza. If you're out and about near Unity Hospital or up in the Greece area, I'd recommend picking up a pie here. Similar to its brethren downtown, there isn't much seating at all, and the ambiance is sparse, so it's probably better to get things here to-go. read more

Fellow Long Islanders - If you are from Strong Island - this is the only pizza place in Rochester you will be happy with - I finally have a place that I don't have to stick two slices together to eat pizza the way you are supposed too. They have thin crust pizza that you can fold to eat and they even have garlic knots. They also have oregano,garlic powder, red pepper flakes on the tables :). It's a real pizza parlor - not a chicken wing stop with bread that had ketchup and cheese! The sauce could be a little spicier but definitely passes muster. They just need to add zeppoli's to the menu and then I would think I was home.... read more

Being from California, we really wanted some good NEW YORK style pizza while we were in town. Yelp didn't disappoint and we found ourselves at the Pizza Stop in Greece (Rochester) NY. The pizza was so good. Thin crust but crispy and not soggy at all, fresh ingredients. We ate there at the place and there's only a small handful of chairs, so if you're a local I recommend just grabbing a whole pizza and heading home with it. read more

Stopped in here for lunch today because my salad I brought for lunch went bad before the expiration date. Grabbed a slice of what I think was called the grandma? It's a white base with marinara and olive oil drizzled over it and it was seriously the best pizza I've ever had in Rochester. The employees seems really friendly as well! Best pizza in Rochester!! After moving up here from Jersey I've been searching for a pizza that wasn't Prego on bread with mozzarella. Pizza Stop meets everything I want in a pizza. Ordered 2 larges (sausage/banana pepper and pepperoni/mushroom) with 24 wings, everything was delicious. NY style crust was perfect, they didn't skimp on cheese, and sauce tasted homemade, especially with the oregano flavor. Wings were extra crispy! I'm Italian, so finding pizza that tastes authentic and fresh is sometimes challenging. We will definitely be ordering from Pizza Stop on Ridgeway again! read more

I absolutely love pizza stop! (Don't tell pontillos in the basin shhh!) this place was worth giving a try after having slices from the downtown location occasionally. Since then I work right off 104 and everyone at work was craving pizza and we decided to get it delivered, large buff chick and meatball parm with knots. Absolutely love the knots, flavorful garlicky spread and sauce on both pizzas were great. Coming here from now on for pizza! read more
