Stopped here to get something to eat. Came here twice and the pizza is good. The guy that took mine and my mom's order was really nice. Inside the restaurant is pretty nice. Will coming back here.

Five stars the first time, 4 1/2 the second time…read more The first time DoorDash was offering a buy one get one free on their combo meal, so I decided to take advantage of it. The only catch was, both orders had to be exactly the same, but that was no big deal at all. I decided to go with a 10 item boneless wing combo, half of the Saigon street wings,(they told me it had a chili garnish so I asked them to leave it off,) and half of the Malaysian curry wings. For my dip, I chose, honey, mustard, and I paid just a few cents more To have coleslaw as my side. Each order also came with a large soda. (I drank one soda on the way home, and then the other I had with the first order.) I went down to pick up the food, and there was a lot of of it. Another yelper complained about the portion size, but these were huge! The Saigon street wings had a great Asian flavor to them, and they were just a bit spicy. I could definitely taste the spice, but they were well within what I like for spicy. The Malaysian curry wings were not very spicy at all, and it was more like a sweet curry flavor. I was very happy with both varieties of the boneless wings. The coleslaw was also very good, and was not overdressed. The honey mustard was sweet and not too spicy, and a perfect dip for the wings. I finished one full order, and I was stuffed. The other order kept in the fridge fine, and reheated very well. The price for a single order was very reasonable, and the fact that I got a BOGO, was just a bonus! I liked the place so much, I came back a couple of days later. This time, I ordered on their app. If you order on their app, you can get points for free food This time, I ordered several items that another yelper had mentioned. I tried the peanut butter wings, the salt and pepper wings, both boneless , with a side of the garlic noodles. Once again, the size of the wings were very decent, and I had the honey mustard dipping sauce again. The peanut butter wings were very good. They came with a nice peanut garnish, which provided a nice crunch, and a sticky. Sweet sauce as well. The sauce was very good, and it was a bit spicier than the Saigon wings were. I could definitely taste the spice, but it was within what I like in spice. The salt and pepper wings were also good, I could taste the salt and pepper they had a sautéed onion and jalapeño garnish on top. I normally don't care for jalapeño, but since the jalapeños were cooked instead of raw, they weren't too bad. Overall, both wings were very good. The garlic noodles were delicious, and a very decent portion . I could smell the garlic right away, and I could definitely taste it. The flavor was excellent. However, I thought the noodles were just a little bit, tough for my personal taste, and while the sauce was very good, it was just a little bit oily. I like them a lot, but would probably not order them again. Again, the prices were very reasonable. Overall, both visits were very good. I never knew about this place before, but now that I know about it, I will definitely be back to try more varieties of the wings. Thank you!

I think that was a good call because some of those other locations sucked, skimped on portions, gave me food poisoning, etc etc. This has been my ride or die location since the beginning though. Staff is always friendly enough, wait times aren't ever too bad, and the parking lot is easy to get in and out of. The store has always been clean, and feels like a mom and pop shop. I always get the same exact order which is the large Kiki's fries with an extra tender added to it. It comes with cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch, fries, and the tenders. Sometimes I'll go ahead and get garlic fries which is always jut as good. I always specify that I want the fries tossed in the garlic though otherwise they just throw it on top. I've tried competitors versions of their fries, including from Taco Exxpress in the same parking lot, and they never are as good as what Kiki's provides. I have never had a bad experience at this location and for that, I thank the staff greatly.

The vibe was very relaxed. We ordered the food and it came out pretty fast. - Smoked wings: wings are good and tender. The sauce was good but nothing spectacular. The veggies that came with the plate were not fresh - BBQ brisket sandwich: good sandwich. The bread was soft and the coleslaw was crunchy and well seasoned. The fatty brisket was good and flavorful but for the price, I was hoping to get more brisket. The tatter tots were crispy and good. - Kids cheeseburger: it was okay. I'd say it was a slider instead of burger. But the bun was soft and the patty was well cooked. The fries were good and crunchy. The kids menu said that it came with kids drink but we got charged for an ice tea.

I do have one suggestion. I completely understand and appreciate the elevated vibe they're going for--it's part of what makes the place special. That said, I think there may be a bit of a missed opportunity with the bocce ball courts. There are large signs saying kids can't play on them and must stay with adults, but honestly, I come here at least once a quarter and they're often not being used. Given the location and the number of families in the area, it could be interesting to consider adding a small playground in the back. I know that might sound unconventional for a place like this, but I've seen restaurants do this successfully in Europe. What's really missing around here is a place where parents can enjoy an incredible meal and drinks while their kids have a safe place to play nearby. Right now, the only places that come close are breweries. There are almost always families here when I visit, so just a thought! Either way, Shangri-La remains one of my favorite spots.

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.

We weren't asked if we needed refills, how our food was, or if everything came out correctly. At one point, I had to get up and go to the bar myself just to order another drink, which definitely took away from the overall experience. It felt like we were completely forgotten. The atmosphere and food may have potential, but the lack of attentive service made it hard to fully enjoy our visit. Hoping this was just an off night, but it wasn't a great experience.
