Was hoping this was like other pizza places with Indian style pizzas loaded with flavor. Sadly it was more bland than a Little Caesars pizza. Will not be coming back to this place.

Why are you gonna say you're open til 11 when you aren't? Fix your hours pizza twist got a $30 Uber just to eat here and it was closed!

"Non-cash adjustment" was never explained to me and I didn't notice it until after leaving.

The pizza here is good, but they need to be more transparent about their pricing Their create your own pizza menu prices say it includes one topping in very small print, but very surprisingly cheese counts as that one topping. They need to either clearly say that cheese counts as a topping or list the price with cheese included. Also, my receipt had a charge of $0.42 as as "non-cash adjustment". They didn't disclose what this was to me. It's a small amount, but their lack of transparency is aggravating.

The pizza that I ordered on Friday, October 7, 2022. This was the worst pizza that I've ever eaten. If you look closely at the picture, you can see black things on the pizza, well that's supposed to be the sausage. It was cooked until it was jet black and looked like a raisin. They should of cooked me another one. The small pizza and a 20 oz bottle of sprite came to $19.01. I asked to use the restroom, they said it was out of order, but the lady helping me, was at least 6 months pregnant, so I can't imagine her being there all day and not being able to use the restroom. It was 10:30 at night, I was probably the last customer and maybe they had cleaned the restrooms already. I had to go find a gas station, because I live in the Bay Area. I would recommend not going there, go get some gas station pizza, it will be better!!

We usually have pizza without cheese at other pizza places as we are vegan. We decided to give this place a try on the last day of the Vegan Chef challenge. They are quite accommodating so if you have a question ask. We had the vegan combo pizza an enjoyed 1/2 that night and the rest the next day for lunch.

Delicious! Awesome location for a variety of food choices. We were able to get Chinese food, burgers, and dessert right next door. Pizza was made fresh to order. Staff was friendly. This was our first time here but won't be our last.

Tried for the first time and was pleasantly impressed with the vegan selection and taste. I will be back for more! It's so nice to have a local pizza spot with lots of vegan pizza options. They also have sliders, wraps and tacos. I'm so excited to try more. Very reasonably priced and nice people that work there.

Tried the Vegan Bombay Garlic Chicken Twist pizza at Pizza Twist tonight-- 10/10 highly delish! I got a 14" pizza for $21.25 with their 15% off vegan pizzas. She also told me they have Vegan cauliflower wings (I don't see on the menu but only briefly looked,) can make the twists/bread vegan and have vegan cheesecake! Hope you can enjoy! The pizza is very good!

I like the vegan pizza options, especially the vegenator. However, the quality seems to vary from loaded with veges to a scattered few.

This takes me to the Arden-Arcade neighborhood of Sacramento where I had the opportunity to check out "Tolo Market & Restaurant". Located directly on Marconi Ave. and adjacent to busy Fulton Ave., this place has been doing double duty by being a small dedicated store (specializing in unique perishable goods for purchase) as well as a full-on Afghan-fusion menu. Considering they opened in early-2020 (while making it through the pandemic), I will say that this place survived the worst of the worst. I ended up dining here solo and arrived during the afternoon of Sunday 6/29/2025 at around 2:45pm. Since this wasn't a busy area which neighbors a Domino's Pizza and a dental office (which was closed), I parked directly outside of the business. Upon entry, there were no customers at the time but two employees (one of which I believe was the owner). Additionally, the market area had a ton of unique spices, sauces, and many other food items that are for sale. As for the menu itself (which also goes by "Madar Afghan-Food & Bakery", it was quite eclectic as their influence on the Persian/Halal dishes was quite apparent. Here, you will see a variety of samosa dishes, Bolani, kebabs, Naanwich, Halal fries, and unique desserts. Since this was my first time, I ended up going with a fan favorite, their "Chapli Burger". This was an interesting twist on a burger which uses spiced Pakistani meat complete with green chutney, herbed yogurt, lettuce and tomatoes on a soft sesame seed bun. I ordered the combo which included a side of their "Baked Masala Fries" and a refreshingly delicious "Salaam Cola" (which is no sugar for the carb-conscious). The entire time it took for them to prepare my burger & fries only took about 9 minutes. As shown in the photos I provided, the burger itself had a wonderful presentation. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection which utilizes subtle hints of Pakistani spices. The yogurt dressing provided a cool refreshing balance while the tomatoes were cool and crunchy. My fries also had a very crispy and well seasoned taste while the cola was delicious and hit the spot on a somewhat warm summer day. All in all, "Tolo Market & Restaurant" exceeded my expectations. Don't let the no-frills look of this place fool you because they really put out some excellent flavor in the place. The service was amazing while the prices of their entire menu was very reasonable. Best of all, they have very decent hours being opened for business Sun-Thu from 9am-9pm and Fri-Sat from 9am-10pm. With that said and done, I am giving this place a perfect five-star rating.

I wanted to…read moretry this spot out based on the Yelp reviews but sadly this didn't measure up to par for me. There is no hint of the Madar Restaurant previous reviewers mentioned. When I was here, there was a young man at the register who also made the food. Daughter got a chicken kebab which she enjoyed and I got some sort of "burger." It was supposed to come with an egg to boot. I got the order to go. The order took quite a bit of time which gave me the opportunity to see the interesting grocery store items: various loose leaf teas, spices, refrigerated gulab jamun, it was all very fascinating. Once home, unwrapping my "burger" it was more like a huge wrap with a type of flatbread consisting mostly of fries and salad mix with a few pieces of chicken. No egg to speak of. I ended up throwing out 80% of it. Maybe there was a language barrier? In any case I don't think I'll be returning.

We were greeted by the sweetest waitress, who promptly took our drink order and then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu without feeling rushed. For appetizers, we chose the Nepali samosas, mushroom pakora, and goat cheese naan--every single one was delicious. I usually order the Chicken Tikka Masala, but this time I decided to switch things up and try the Butter Chicken. I can honestly say I was not disappointed. Paired with the garlic basil naan, it was perfection. A little piece of naan, a small scoop of basmati rice, and a drizzle of that rich, flavorful butter chicken was absolutely chef's kiss. The portions were generous, and I had plenty left over. Now I'm genuinely looking forward to lunch tomorrow so I can relive the experience all over again. If you're looking for incredible Indian and Nepali food in Sacramento, Everest Curry is definitely worth a visit.

The server (I guess...it was a buffet) greeted me warmly, and immediately got my drink order. Water was refilled, no complaints. The paintings were beautiful...and I caught myself looking at them for moments at a time. Now then...I'm working a lot of OT this week, and getting a cold. So, treat myself and help with a cold is two birds with one stone. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The butter chicken tasted like lukewarm jarred sweet and sour sauce from a Chinese restaurant...no spice, but nothing resembling any butter chicken I've tried. The chicken curry was...salty...I guess, but not much other flavor. I literally was the first customer...and the samosas were not crispy at all....too soggy. Plate 2 wasn't much better. The goat curry was the most flavorable of anything, but not the best I've had. The tandoori chicken leg I had was borderline undercover. I NEEDED spice today, people ..kill this cold. While some of your patrons are Caucasian, we're American...not British. We like spice. For $24, I expect a buffet of much higher caliber.

To make it vegan, asked for the kashk on the side. The dip by itself was good, but with the hashk, it took it the whole new level. They also gave us an oil and mint dressing, which was phenomenal. For my main course I chose to have the beef Koobideh with rice, salad and a roasted tomato. I could eat those roasted tomatoes all day long. My friend shared a secret with me- cut roasted tomato, mix it in with the basmati rice and top with sumac. What an amazing combination? Throughout our meal, staff would pass by and see how we were doing. Not intrusive, it didn't feel like a server asking you if you need anything. All in all my meals here have been great. If it was a little bit closer to home, I would probably go more often. Parking is a little touch and go sometimes there's parking and sometimes there isn't. The lot is very small.
