Don't order anything fried. It will come out super soggy. Ordered the fried mushrooms, seafood alfredo, and the baked shrimp tortellini. Both entrees were supposed to come with salad and bread sticks. Neither came. Even though the waitress was just in the kitchen talking away to other employees. The entrees came out before the mushrooms. The alfredo was not to bad. The tortellini was borderline inedible. It had fried shrimp. Which turned soggy sitting in the pasta. When I brought up the salads and breadsticks all the waitress said was "sorry I must forgotten" so I "forgot" to give a full tip. And only gave a partial. Will never go there again. read more

We called ahead a week early so we could reserve seats for 17 people. They also let us put our order in so when we arrived food would start coming out. great staff to work with. The pizza was a huge hit with our group. I have to say the pizza with Pepperoni and pepperoncinis on a butter crust was the favorite with this group. Everyone loved it. had I not ordered so many in advance we would have gotten a 2nd one of these. Even though we had tons of pizza we also did 3 orders of the Greek stuffed bread and it was completely gone. Overall great experience. I would recommend it for a group, just call ahead. read more

LOVE this place... the Greek bread stuffed with feta and marinara dipping sauce is a MUST. The pizzas I have tried are delish and the Greek salad tasty and large. It's a family friendly, casual, laid back place where the service is awesome and friendly, free soda refilled and you don't even need to ask. I come for lunch but am def gonna come for dinner soon after some 'fancy' pasta with large prawns (a friend got that and I nearly died of envy!) With a wine to accompany. I was thoroughly unimpressed by this place. The flavor of our dishes (Fettuccine Alfredo & Greek Pizza) were pretty bland. Not a lot of toppings on the pizza, and the Alfredo made my mother-in-law sick to her stomach (flavor-wise). I agree with Susan's review but would add a few things - good pizza and it can come in a 10 inch kid size that is perfect for one person with a leftover slice or two. Their burgers are also good if you want something that isn't greek. The only thing I was disappointed by is their veal parmigiana - it was the frozen breaded kind. It was a huge portion but it wasn't fresh veal. Rarely do you see fresh veal in Alaska. Also, another warning - the mushrooms on the pizza are canned. I asked the waitress and she shook her head and said, "Ya we know...for some reason that is what the owner wants." The owner is an immigrant from Greece and most of his food is really, really good. The pasta sauces have the Greek trademark of sweetness which makes it taste less acidic. Their decor is so old, it's popular again - the harvest gold, orange and olive green...I think I saw some macrame plant holders, too. read more

The location was good. Easy to find in palmer. The restaurant was clean inside however decor was outdated. The menu had a good array of options ranging from pasta to pizza to sandwiches. I give the 3 star because the food was par. I wouldn't tell someone not to visit, but I also wouldn't tell someone it's the greatest. Food here is pretty good. Their Greek cheese bread is a must on any order. When passing through Palmer we often call ahead for carry out...and that's the impetus for this review. THEY HAVE NEVER HAD AN ORDER READY FOR CARRYOUT AT THE STATED TIME! Not 5 or 10 trifling minutes, we're talking anywhere from 15-45 minute wait over the time given for pick-up. While sitting there waiting on my past due orders I've heard one waitress consistently tell customers "ready in 25 minutes"...makes you want to grab the phone and tell them what they can really expect. If it will be an hour, fine...just be accurate! That brings to this evenings order. Order was not ready in the stated 25 minutes. More like 45+ minutes. When the order was ready, the waitress placed boxes behind counter and I paid. Phone rang, instead of handing boxes to me she took signed credit card receipt and took another phone order before she handed the meal to me. Greek bread was edible - despite being a tad over cooked (bottom crust a little too black), they forgot to include dressing with the Greek salad (has happened 2x to daughters family, who live in Palmer) Decided to just take the salad back rather than complain and risk a "special". Have seen this happen to so many good restaurants up here. Great food and service to begin, then slow erosion of service and quality. Very nice family restaurant. Alot of space with several large tables and mostly booths. Our waitress was extremely friendly and checked on us regularly. Food was out under a half hour and consisted of two large pizzas. Pizzas were huge and very good. One was off slightly from our order and they offered to make another correctly and gave us the original one as well. Excellent customer service. Well I ordered from the express in Wasilla but couldn't find them. They were the only food delivery we have been ordering from and it has always been great food.... but today the food was so bad we will likely never order from them again. I got the BLT and there was hardly 1 layer of bacon, but that wasn't the worst part, the bread was so burnt I couldn't even bite it. Then the fries that came with it weren't cooked but maybe half way. My son refused to eat them and he never turns down fries. Then my wife ordered the gyro plate which she said was perfect not as good as normal but not bad. Finally we ordered my son the app platter and it looked like someone just threw marinara was just thrown on top of all the food in the box everything was so wet we had to throw it all out. read more

This review is based on the Palmer eat in location, NOT the drive through location toward Wasilla (more on that in a bit). Good pizza, not outstanding, but excellent calzones, soups, and specials. Service is inconsistent but never really bad. Definitely has the look and feel of a small town pizza joint. Always clean, but very dated looking inside. If that doesn't matter to you, if you're here for the food, then it's 4 stars all the way. Would be nice if they had a better beer and wine selection. Delphi falls in between Humdingers (lousy) and Ale House (excellent, but overpriced). Now, the Express location on Palmer Wasilla highway is disappointing. Not the same quality, very 'sloppy' pizzas, and staffed by school aged kids who have no clue about customer service. read more

Not only do they make a great pizza, but the sub sandwiches are AMAZING! Freshly baked bread always makes for a good sandwich, and the portion size is large enough to easily split between two people. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The overall atmosphere has a vintage feel back to the 1980s, but it feels a little dark inside. read more

First time visiting here and it was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered the Greek bread (do yourself a favour and order it), and pizza. The pizza crust is the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The sauce has a great flavour and they are not afraid to put it on there. They had two huge groups come in right after we got there and only had 2 servers yet my glass was never empty and she still kept a check on us to make sure everything was great. Those of you that follow my reviews know that I like my pizza. I live in Palmer and there are several different pizza joints to choose from. After 4 years, and trying them all, I would say Pizza Delphi is my permanent go to for a good pie. But be warned, if you can pick it up yourself, I highly recommend you do that. Sometimes the pizza will arrive almost cold if you use delivery. But here's a trick that like to do anyways. Order it uncut. Your oven at 350° put the whole pie in for about 6 minutes. Then cut it to your liking. It makes it crispy and reheats everything like it just came out of the stores oven. Enjoy! read more

Delphi is one of my favorite places to eat. Calzones are always great. Pizza is more handmade than most. Real good and fresh. The wait staff can be lacking and once in a while they run out of stuff. One occasion, all my old mom wanted for her birthday was veal, we got all settled in and they didn't have any. The disappointment in her eyes was sad. Not really Delphi's fault. Another occasion, I asked if the ravioli was meat or cheese, I love cheese ravioli, but despise meat ravioli. Waitress replied they have both, just specify. I got the wrong one. Didn't feel like watching everyone eat while they got me more, so I choked it down and walked away unhappy. They were willing to make it right, just wish it was right the first time. read more

I've been back a couple of more times and had their gyros. It was good but it bugged me that the waitress and cook both couldn't tell me how good it was because "they don't eat lamb". More than likely it's not even lamb, duh. So the cook admits to not tasting what he cooks. Not a good sign. Well, neither here nor there, they were good and the pizza is still decent, but no longer the best in the valley. New competition has moved in and taken over just down the street and they are my new favorite. I'm moving these guys at 3*, but I really want to give them 3.5 and Yelp won't let me.
