I have been to So Juicy a small handful of times, but most recently was to check out the smoothie and juice selection. I have always been put off by the pricing here. It's nearly $10 for a juice or a smoothie. Many other reviews mention the high pricing, and many reviews also mention that the portion sizes are mediocre. I agree with that. While the juices and smoothies are good, the high prices deter me from returning. Comparing So Juicy to another local shop that recently opened in Gardnerville, that place wins in both selection, taste, and pricing. The service here can also be iffy. Sometimes they are super fast and kind. Other times, it seems that they are irritated that you walked in. I have never been here when it's busy. It's almost always deserted when I visit. If you choose to hang out, they do have many large tables inside. So Juicy is 100% better than a chain shop like Keva or Jamba, but I think there is certainly room for improvement in both service and pricing.

We meet up there, you just have to sign in at the front desk as you enter first. The inside looks same as it always did, open and clean. We go over to the stir fry station on the back to the right. For $8.65 you get to pick out all the stuff you want, no limit, but I do think they go my total weight, so like if you pick 2 meats, you get less of each one, still generous with the stuff you pick though. We just filled out the little forms, circling what we wanted. They even offered shrimp for no extra cost. You won't get that in any Chinese restaurant! I got shrimp for my protein and the chef put a ton of it in! My friend had a combo of chicken and shrimp. We watched as the chef tossed our stuff in the air in the wok. They run induction burners, so no giant flames ... prob a good thing inside a hospital! Our food is served in to go boxes, no plates here. Wow, the food was super scrumptious, I liked our selection of ingredients. I'd say with this wok stir fry station open now, get yourself over here and have lunch. It starts at 11 am. $8.65 with no tax is way cheaper than any Chinese restaurant these days!
