Ordered a pizza for delivery. Took over an hour to arrive. I live 10 minutes from this place. Pizza showed up cold. How is this acceptable?

I wanted to give them a 1 star for 1 reason alone but the food was ok and the restaurant was clean including the bathroom. The reason being is that the wait staff was asking for 5 star yelp reviews. They even asked to have their names mentioned in the review. It was really bad and unsettling. We all know yelp is help to your business but don't do that. The check in offer of a free app was great! And that's all you need to attract people. Service was mad slow, we noticed people who came in 30min after us got their food before us. It was very frustrating for the family our waiter left us with empty drinks simply because he didn't stop and check on us. My calzone was so basic, only had cheese, cheese and more dough than filling. I'd call it a waste. Don't buy their calzone! The pizza was ok and stromboli was a nice big size. I wanted to like this place but not sure I'll return. Espelly where there are other options in the area that are tasty. read more

I heard about PizzaVola from a number of friends who've previously eaten there. Most of them had nothing but praise for the new location but only for dine-in. Delivery, from what I heard, is either a hit or miss. Ergo, to avoid any conflicts, I decided to come on in as it would give me a chance to scope the place and experience the staff. I will say that I am not disappointed. First and foremost, PizzaVola is located in a small strip mall on the northwest quadrant of the Minton Rd. and Palm Bay Rd. intersection. If it helps, it is the same strip mall Paradise Health Store is located but you shouldn't have any issue finding PizzaVola as the sign really sticks out. The front door opens to an ordering area that is reminiscent of most fast-serve pizza places like certain Bizaro's Pizza locations or Sbarro. However, they have more choices and ingredients look fresh. I chose to dine-in so I had the traditional wait service. My waitress was very nice and accommodating. We even had small talk about where I worked since I told her I worked 3rd shift at the hospital. As for the food, it was overall more than satisfactory. I ordered calamari, veil parmesan, and tiramisu. For the second item on the list, it comes with house bread and a simple salad. They all had great presentation and taste. Will I say it is the best of the best? No (as nothing compares to real Italian food when you are dining in Italy) but it is still better than your typical American Italian fare. Ultimately, PizzaVola gets a more than satisfactory rating of four out of five stars. One point you want to consider is the price. You are eating good food so you'll pay a price fitting of it. If you want cheap food, this is not the place for you (though the lunch specials are easy on the wallet). I also won't give this place a perfect score until I've eaten more times. Took an hour and a half to get the food. Called the store and they said driver just left. I live 1.7 miles away and it still took 45 mins. Food was almost cold. No excuse for this. Will think twice before ordering again. Driver didn't even seem to care. read more

went for Happy hour and $5.00 pizza at 4:45 pm. ordered a draft michelob ultra, split of prosecco and green pepper and onion pizza. ordered 2 nd round of drinks at 5:40 before food came out. had to ask for everything. pizza was not as good as crappy bar pizza. service was terrible. needless to say it's a one and done for us! as for happy hour, the 2 nd drink was charged regular price not happy hour prices. very big disappointment. read more

We have been going here for years tonight was our last trip. We have been there for the past two months at least five times a month and it has went down hill rapidly for us. Tonight we were treated like we were not welcome first of all and waited 10 min for server and promised to bring bread for 30 min .. When finally got food it was cold and quit nasty as if it was frozen and reheated unsuccessfully. Took our Varsity girls' and Varsity boys' basketball teams here after games in Palm Bay. Absolutely positive experience all around. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. We ordered several types of food in addition to the pizzas. The prices were fair for the amount and quality of food. Several parents and team members said they will return when in the area. Went last night for the first time and waitstaff was very attentive but everything else went downhill from there. We ordered the Grandma pie and it litteraly needs to be taken off the menu. It tasted like Totinos pizza crust and it was so bad I would of eaten totinos as to what I tried there for a pizza. The 2 beers my boyfriend had was about only thing he enjoyed. I made a Togo order. Pizza and a wedge salad with grilled chicken add on. . I was charged $5 for the chicken add-on. I literally got 4/5 ish tiny slivers of grilled chicken. So I'm assuming that was about a quarter of the chicken breast. What is wrong with restaurants these days??! You're screwing over customers in order to pinch some pennies. Well, now you've lost dollars and customers forever. I can't do much with a Togo order when it's 830 at night. I know this wasn't a mistake, and I know that you don't care. Wish I could leave ZERO stars, I order from this location ALL the time, I'm a regular. Today, my Greek salad was ANYTHING but Greek. No Kalamata olives, no feta cheese, no banana peppers. The salad was suppose to come with garlic rolls, it did not. I also ordered the shrimp Alfredo, usually it comes with 6 large shrimp, today it came with two. When I called to speak to someone in reference to the quality and inconsistency, the woman who answered the phone was impatient and rude. She refused to allow me to speak to someone other than her. Best NY style pizza around Hammock Landing area of Palm Bay. I been ordering from here for a couple of years. The pasta dishes are ok not bad at all but nothing special. For me the Pizza is where its at. I like to order mine well done because I usually get it delivered. Always shows up warm to hot. Crust has a nice crunch. I've had both the white pizza and reg. pizza and would suggest either style for anyone to have. I always got a really nice delivery person who says thank you for choosing their establishment. Also the Pasta Fagioli Soup is delicious. Tons of seasoning and flavor. This will always be my pizza place of choice. read more

What can I say about PizzaVola in Melbourne, FL but it is simply awesome. Not your average pizza joint as they do make awesome pizza but their other Italian dishes and fair are simply awesome. So you say you can't have pizza as you don't like the white flour dough or the extra carbs... No problem, PizzaVola has an awesome cauliflower pizza crust that is Gluten free and it tastes awesome as well. Before I tried it I was skeptical but take my word for it you won't be disappointed. Really crispy and tasty as well. Interestingly enough you would think in my normal stomping grounds in the 305 that this type of crust would be available but I guess not. On this outing we had some personal 10" pizzas, the Zucchini Sticks, Mozzarella Sticks and the Chicken and Veal Parmigiana which were very, very good. From a value perspective the prices are very reasonable as well and the service is excellent! No matter the time of day or size of your party everyone is always friendly and willing to help and provide friendly recommendations. Everything you would expect from a family owned business. Can't make it out to the restaurant well they deliver as well. If you decide to cruise on over, parking will not be a problem as they are located in a mall behind the Walgreens at the intersection of Minton Road and Palm Bay Road. The servers are all great but there is currently a young hostess that is horrible. She has no personal or communication skills whatsoever. Good help is hard to find I guess. We absolutely loved them in the old location! This however, was an uncomfortable experience as four times during my meal people waiting at the Carryout register leaned their backsides against me. The Alfredo came out as noodles stuck together in a bundle not separated and the sauce was like milk. The only thing that was reminiscent of the other location was the bread. Yesterday I ordered 2 strombolis for pick up. When I arrived I paid for the food and the cashier opened the box to show me the strombolis and they looked good. When I got home both strombolis were burned on the bottom. Next time I will check the top and the bottom before leaving the restaurant. New location much larger square footage. Food was delicious!!! Delivered hot not lukewarm. Large fresh side salad. The garlic bread was outrageously great!!! Our party of four all got a different main dish and everyone raved about being delicious and generous portions. I have visited all three locations many times. at least 100 combined. The store in West Melbourne and Cocoa are just fine but the Indian harbor beach store has completely set me off. I have had nothing but bad experiences the last four times and today was the worst I ordered a pizza and got home to find no sauce. Yes Zero sauce. last time I went in at 6 pm the get a few slices with my wife and there weren't any slices and I was told that they wouldn't make a pie just for a few slice. tbe time before that I got someone else's pie. Did a review 4 years ago that was not favorable. Returned on Saturday around 530 with family and had a great experience. We were greeted right away this time. Restaurant wasn't too busy. Food and service were great but it was incredibly hot and uncomfortable in the restaurant. I had sweat pouring down my back and my kids who are 10-12 were both moving and fidgeting because of the heat. Me and the family decided to try this place and the food was not very good. I ordered the pasta trio for 16 dollars. The small piece of lasagna was very cold in center. The one stuffed shell was warm and the two pieces of ravioli burnt my mouth. This dish was a quarter of the size of Olive Garden's tour of Italy, and no where near the quality.
