Came here after a long day of exploring the area and it was so fun finding this pizza shop on the top of the mountain! Good: - The location was super fun - The place is very homey and cozy - The medium pizza was large enough to share between two people! We got the ricotta cheese flavor which was very well done and chewy - There's plenty of seating! Bad: - We got there super late so we were rushed out as soon as the place was closing - The place is a bit more rundown and old so not very fancy Overall this was a nice experience and felt homey and local which was a nice touch after being in the area. read more

This place was fantastic. When i arrived - an employee was chasing after a young man that mistakenly grabbed only 2 drinks even though he purchased 3. (Very refreshing to see!) The man at the register was considerate and patient with us since it was our first time there. He gave suggestions and was happy to accommodate for a gluten allergy. The tables on the back patio was great for our large party. They have bocce ball and lovely string lights. The food was fantastic. Everyone loved it. Blaze, our server, was great at making sure we had everything. He continued to check on us and even asked if we wanted any photos. Over all we were very pleased. I've been here a handful of times and have always enjoyed myself. The pizza is always good, and so are the seasonal items.

Have to tell you guys this hidden gem is a must try. Their tritip sandwich is far way better than Summit store ones.

Don't sleep on this place! Their pizza is made fresh and their outdoor seating is dreamy. The service is top notch and the Marianne's ice cream is the perfect dessert after pizza (unless you want one of their amazing cannolis). This has quickly become a staple for us. Pizza was gas but the service. Abysmal. Genuinely the longest I've ever waited for pizza, or food for that matter. The wait was so long the customers that ordered before us actually walked out. But, if you order ahead you could potentially avoid this issue. The only other concern is you won't get your entire order. This place is super special & would easily have given it 5 stars if the woman working the counter who I'd assume to be the owner wasn't super inhospitable. I came in with my toddler so maybe she just doesn't like kids but she was the opposite of friendly, sometimes this approach to customer service is charming but I dunno if that's so much the case here. Maybe it was an off night for her but the pizza was great and I am very particular about my pie. read more

It's "out of the way" but not difficult to get to. We just had our daughter's birthday party here and she had the best time!!! It was a Build-Your-Own-Pizza party which was super cool as the kids got to spread the sauce, decorate the pizzas to their heart's content and watch as it got delivered to the giant pizza oven. And amazingly, the kid pizzas came out really yummy considering they were put together by 5 year olds! One of the kids said it was the best party he's ever been to and all the parents were gushing over how cool it was. Best of all, it was super chill and Mike and Victoria (the owners) and Oscar really took care of all of us. They were so warm and fun with the little kids in our group! Such a wonderful, fun, relaxing party - great music, super friendly staff, yummy pizzas. No one wanted to leave, including the grownups! We've also been here several times just for lunch and to get delicious pizzas for dinner. The lunch sandwiches are really yummy, especially the tri-tip one! My family visited this restaurant recently. It is right off of the 17 freeway, so a perfect place to stop if you're driving between San Jose and Santa Cruz. The pizza is amazing, the best wood fired pizza I've had in the Bay Area. They also have other non-pizza food and plenty of good desserts, many of which they make themselves. Super friendly staff and lots of places to sit, either inside or outside. We played a game of bocce ball while we were there. We'll be coming back with a larger group next time. read more

We went here recently again under the new ownership and the atmosphere is wonderful! We really enjoyed the back yard space because it feels very homey and contained for kids while parents are enjoying a delicious local draft craft beer (great selections btw)!! The pizza was great! Been a Redwood Estates resident since 2002. Have had more Nonno's pizzas than I could ever imagine. Had my kid's birthday parties here countless times before they went off to college... That said... I ordered two Take & Bakes tonight. One large pepperoni & sausage and a small combo. The large Pepperoni had, literally 19 pieces of sliced pepperoni on it... sausage was also minimal. If I do my math right and slice this pie into 8 pieces the result is 2.375 pieces of pepperoni per LARGE slice. The pies still taste great, but I would like to see more ingredients than a "meat surprise" .... find a piece of meat, yell "SURPRISE"! Ralph wasn't afraid to charge money for a pie but at least you got a "pepperoni" pizza... you could barely see the cheese under the generous portions of toppings. I know times are hard in the restaurant industry so please take it with a grain of salt. But, you will lose the heart and soul of your business (Mountain Folks) ... they are definitely paying attention. We have nothing better to talk about. lol Still has the great mountain vibe it has always had. I've always told Ralph he needed to get some monkeys for the trees out back. The pizza is from a wood burning stove, which is my absolute favorite way to cook pizza but the restaurant is not only limited to the perfect pizza, there is lasagna tri-tip and so much more is offered.... you get to experience all this under the blanket of mountain life of outdoor seating. I took my family to Pizzeria Vittoria because I had been there before when it was Nonno's and their pizza was good, so I figured it'd still be good even though it had a new owner. God, was I wrong! For context I will tell you I was there at 6 pm on a Friday, so they were busy (probably, only because they are the only restaurant in Redwood Estates). I ordered a large half La Migliore/half Haole and a medium half Margherita/half BBQ Chicken. It took an hour for us to get our pizzas - the longest I've ever waited for a pizza before in my life! La Mig was burnt and we definitely should have added a veggie to it because it was too meaty/one dimensional in flavor, also the charcoal did not help its flavor. We ate it instead of complaining about it being burnt because by the time they finally served us out pizzas we were positively starving! The Haole was also a serious letdown because the tomato did nothing for it; instead of tomato it should have had more ham and pineapples. Further, and this was true of both pizzas - the dough was mediocre/bad. Whereas Nonno's crust was fluffy and flavorful, Vittoria's is the opposite. The only pizza that had a decent flavor was the BBQ Chicken, but even that pizza was extremely skimpy with the chicken and onions. One of my family members was visiting from Sweden and unfortunately Vittoria's pizza was his introduction to American pizza. He will certainly return home and inform them that we do not know how to make pizza. Going back to the time thing. When we put in our order for our pizzas we learned there was a customer there who had been waiting for his sandwich for FORTY minutes. When the "waiter" finally brought us our pizzas, when I asked him for oregano, but he had no idea what I was talking about! Lastly, a warning about Vittoria's clientele - think conservative backwater. A middle-aged local client gave me a very slow, painfully obvious once-over so I looked at him at said, "Hi. How are you doing?" His response was to then ignore me. In short, if you like horrible pizza and rude, rednecks that will stare at you if they haven't seen you in Redwood Estates before then Pizzeria Vittoria's the place for you! read more
