Unfortunately, seems as if they don't clean their ovens often as the pizza tasted like solid cigarettes from burnt flower pockets stuck to the bottom of the crust. If I could give zero stars I would. Wow! Sooooo rude. Not family friendly at all. In fact they're discriminatory against you if you have children. And I fully intend on contacting the better business bureau about this place. The guy who is checking us is, super rude. I tell him I have a party of 5 with two adults and three small children, he literally cuts me off mid sentence to re-state in a condescending but trying to pretend to be nice voice to say yea 45-69 minute wait. So we are waiting inside. Since there were SEVERAL other parties waiting inside for their table when I had put our name in the list that got seated. Some employee then proceeds to tell us we can't wait inside due to covid restrictions. Mind you, there was ZERO social distancing between tables, no one was wearing a mask and OTHER people were inside waiting when we arrived. So I stated that and she said I don't know who that is and I will let them know (they had already been seated) and that she wasn't going to argue with me. So she expected myself and three SMALL CHILDREN to wait outside in 30 degree weather with it snowing outside. No heaters. NOTHING! How is it that you can claim you are enforcing a rule due to covid but didn't with the two other parties before us who didn't have children with them?! Their whole entire attitude was just super rude and contradictory. If you are going to claim rules for "covid precautions" then fully enforce it to everyone. But to discriminate against ANYONE IS WRONG!!!! And clearly you were only enforcing this rule with individuals with children because the people who came in after us (had a baby in a stroller) also had to wait outside. It's the same great authentic wood fired pizza you have come to love but with a new menu including more appetizers. Come hungry because the more robust apps to share are large. The porchetta was unique and very addictive and the meatballs were fab. The broccoli rab is delicious. I mean what is better than roasted broccoli with stracciatella cheese? Maybe the caesar salad with chimayo powde? You will have to decide. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu and save room for gelato. We were thrilled to discover that Dark Sky had opened up a Pizzicletta restaurant in their taproom because there really is nothing better than the combo of pizza and beer. After our experience, I would rather just go to the original location and put up with the close quarters and the wait for a table than try this location again. We ordered an appetizer of meatballs to start. They weren't even lukewarm. They were cold in the middle and the sauce was also cold. We sent them back and they came out warm the second time, but still not steaming hot. There were also only two of them which I thought was a pretty small portion. The only reason we were able to send them back is because someone from Dark Sky asked how we were doing. He alerted the kitchen for us because no one else had come to check on us. We ordered the Funghi pizza and it seemed like there were very few mushrooms for it to be called a mushroom pizza. The cheese and toppings were concentrated in the very center of the pie. There was a 2" or larger ring around the toppings that was just naked crust. The flavors of the pizza were on point, but we were very disappointed with the large naked edge on the pie. read more

I went with some friends to this restaurant, and they told me that the pizza was good. I grew up in Italy and looked forward to trying it out, but I was very disappointed in the pizza. It was so soft and floppy that I rolled it up and ate it like burrito. I do not understand why anyone would like over priced doughy pizza, unless floppy pizza tastes great to FLG yippies, since it's an upgrade from broccoli and gluten free options :) However, if ya really want yummy pizza that is not expensive and under cooked then head just across the street to Fratelli's a really great pizza place.
