This is their spinach and feta croissant.

I recommend this place. I came here to study with my friends and it was such an amazing place to study. The workers were very kind, patient, and helpful. The food I got was very good as well. I will definitely be coming back here.

I got the Voodoo energy drink. This drink was super awesome, a great mix of tangyness, sweetness, and yum.

I came specifically for…read moretheir staples, the breakfast croissant sandwich and the breakfast tacos, and they did not disappoint. Both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the visit. I also tried the peach mango smoothie, which was perfectly refreshing. The carrot cake was decent, though it seemed like it might be outsourced. That said, the quality of the main food items more than makes up for it. The ambiance of the coffee shop is warm and inviting, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Overall, this spot still earns a solid five stars for its consistently great food and welcoming atmosphere!

However, it is obvious that the person that started Barbarossa has a great vision, and we have been going since they were just about to open their second shop. The owner provides above average products yet sadly it is almost always ruined by the incompetence of the hired staff. So I will be sharing my experience today, as well as the pattern of the most baffling interactions I have had over the last year. Today, my partner ordered the breakfast bagel (this comes with avocado), I ordered a croissant with only eggs over hard (this doesn't come with avocado according to their menu). Also it is necessary to ask for eggs over hard otherwise the egg whites will be oozing off your croissant. And I mean this with full disrespect because while cooking is a skill that requires development. How. On. Earth. Do you serve someone a raw egg? It is clearly visible, you don't need a food thermometer, it might literally be the simplest thing to cook. You can practice at home for next to nothing! When you ask for eggs for hard here, they will be close to over medium if you're lucky. Today, since they put avocado on my partners bagel I guess they decided to just add it to mine because why not? Well why not is because it's not on the menu, and I did not ask for it and I'm paying for the item I asked for. Not your random remix. Additionally, every time I order, I make sure to specify I want my matcha UNSWEET. Every time they say "ma'am it doesn't come with sweetner" and I hold my tongue because I know well enough if I don't say that, they add SWEETNER. And since my husband ordered this morning and didn't say unsweet, my Matcha ended up sweet. Once? Fine. Twice? Everyone makes mistakes. It's a drink idc. But every single time unless the customer specifies? Are these people being trained? Do they have the capacity to be trained? And sure you might be thinking wow that's harsh. So I shall share a previous experience. I wanted to purchase a lanyard, we all know a lanyard is about 20 inches long right? Well I asked to buy a lanyard in the drive thru, I was told they didn't sell lanyards, not that they were out of stock. No according to this employee they don't sell them, never have. Mind you I had just seen it in the store a few days earlier. I'm not one to argue so I acted as if it were my mistake. A few days later I stopped inside to see if they had any left in store. They had several, I took it to the register and asked to purchase the lanyard. She said "you mean our dog leashes!" ........... I thought she was pulling a little joke. She wasn't. I'm sorry have you seen someone walk a dog? Have you ever seen a dog leash shorter than 2 feet? Have you ever seen a dog? She genuinely begins to argue with me because she can't find the button for dog leashes in the system. (DUH girl! Because the company you work at doesn't sell dog leashes. How do I know that and you don't?) The manager walked over and chose the LANYARD button to which this young lady says snarkily "oh I guess it is a lanyard". The manager looked bewildered at her and I thought surely he will now realize how lacking his staff is. However that wasn't the case. So I beg. Please train them. Fire them. Replace them with robots please. I don't care. I'm even happy to give them gentle instruction on how to do their job if you'll at least teach them not to talk back. Don't assume they know what a lanyard, or a croissant, or a cup is because it just might be to the failure of your company. Bonus: a lot of these kids seem to not know that the source of sugar is what they call "flavoring" :) If I don't want sugar, it feels like common sense that I don't want vanilla with sugar in it? Sincerely written as a person that supports smaller coffee shops in hopes that they succeed over chains.

We split the breakfast sandwich panini and one of their giant cinnamon rolls. The rosemary potatoes were perfectly seasoned with an incredibly velvety texture, and dipping them into their signature Victory Sauce was absolute perfection. The breakfast sandwich was outstanding, with thick, meaty, flavorful bacon on a buttery croissant that tasted like it had just come out of the oven. We paired everything with a caramel hazelnut iced coffee that was perfectly balanced, and the cinnamon roll had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. What really stood out was the quality. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can absolutely taste the difference. On our way out, we could not resist taking home two pies and the cutest strawberry Pop-Tart covered in patriotic sprinkles. They looked almost too pretty to eat. The food alone would have earned five stars, but the hospitality made the experience unforgettable. The owner was incredibly genuine and treated every customer like a VIP. She has a true heart for veterans and took the time to personally thank my husband for his service. That kind of kindness is rare and speaks volumes about the people behind this wonderful business. Victory Pie Co. has earned loyal customers in us. We cannot wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu.

The women there were polite and answered all of my questions, the atmosphere was clean, cute and they had some outside seating. Very nice surprise in Tomball!

I loved how bright and inviting the restaurant felt, and the staff were just as welcoming and kind. Now let's get into the food. The kids ordered pancakes and when those plates hit the table... FLAPJACKS. Those things were huge! Thankfully, they weren't just big for show they were flavorful too, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed them. Meanwhile, I went in a completely different direction with the **Greek Salad**, and OMG it hit the spot. Fresh, loaded with toppings, and every bite had a little bit of everything. I have zero complaints about that salad. Between the friendly service, bright atmosphere, good food, and a menu with enough variety for everyone to find something, this was an easy win for us. The Toasted Yolk has officially been added to our breakfast rotation. We'll definitely be back and judging by that menu, I already have some exploring to do.
