We needed a custom extra-wide vanity with extremely fast turnaround time, and Homer saved the day! We ordered an oak vanity in June 2021 for our bathroom remodel, and from the first consultation, Homer and his team made us feel heard treated us with professionalism. Homer walked us through the different woods & wood cut options, and drew up a 3D rendering of the vanity before building it. He walked us through the process of finding a good countertop to complement the vanity. There happened to be a material shortage in my area during this particular time, so unfortunately we experienced some delays with the final delivery. However, to make it up to us, Homer offered consolations that really showed him going above & beyond. I don't know a thing about wood, but, compared to the other off-the-shelf wood-veneer vanity that I own, you can really feel the sturdiness and quality in this one. Homer, Ramsin, and Robert have done an amazing job, especially given the higher restrictions that come with remodeling a kitchen in a residence sitting above a commercial property (Santana Row). They went above and beyond dealing with pre-existing structural issues (aka walls that had been originally put in at an angle) and making sure every detail was to my satisfaction. This is pretty rare in contractors! They were very patient when it came to dealing with the HOA and my insurance agency, even helping me get additional money back from my insurance (my kitchen originally had some water damage, which started off this whole process). He was patient with me too - he was able to get me the flooring I wanted, even though it wasn't among the usual vendors he ordered from. I love my new flooring and kitchen! The custom cabinets are beautiful :) I will definitely be working with them again in the future on more projects, and recommending them to other residents of my condominium. read more

We did a complete down-to-the-studs gut and remodel of our entire 4 bedroom home (copper repipe, upgrade electrical panel/total re-wire, new drywall, new insulation, new floors, new windows, custom cabinetry and fireplace etc.) We got to know the entire team very well through the process---my family and I consider many of them personal friends at this point :) I think the most important things I could convey are: -each person who worked on our project was an experienced specialist in their field -they were always fair and reasonable -they genuinely cared about us, our home and the outcome -they take pride in their work -they were reliable, responsive, and punctual In any construction project unexpected surprises will come up and there may be disagreements. I worked with Homer and Ramsin on a bedroom and closet remodel, and overall, it was an awesome experience. After we agreed on the quote, they started the remodel right on time, as promised. I used Pacific Kitchen & Bath to upgrade two bathrooms. One bathroom is to replace the existing vanity with a custom built vanity and the other is to install a new flooring in addition to replacing the existing vanity with a custom built vanity. Robert is an gifted artist, skilled craftsman, and great engineer. He has constructed cabinets for our kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and office. Robert does the design, engineering, construction, and installation - all in house. I visited several other custom cabinet firms that employed designers and carpenters. They did not manufacture the cabinets - this was outsourced to a large scale company. Typically, the cabinets are constructed in three foot sections and assembled onsite. The installers then use trim and "re - adjust" the cabinets to fit older homes that are not plumb. I was impressed by Robert's design and engineering skills that incorporated 11 foot single piece cabinet tops and extended cabinet assemblies with out visible seams. His prices were fair for the quality of manufacture and design. In comparison to other cabinets at competitor showrooms, I have noted Robert used recessed doors without visible hinges - not often found in other cabinet designs. His cabinets and drawers are very sturdy, durable, and well manufactured. Also, he planned for uneven floors and "tilted" walls. When I asked him how he was able to design cabinetry that "hid" these sight line problems, he explained in detail how he had adjusted the design of the cabinets so that this was not readily visible - very impressive! I don't believe that a typical designer would know how to accomplish this. Robert is very dedicated to fulfilling the customer expectations - he clearly exceeded our vision for our cabinets, breakfast nook, office desks, wardrobe, and built in wall units. After he completed the cabinet, dining nook, and office construction, I became aware that he used solid wood through out the construction, only occasionally using plywood. This improved the appearance and strength of the cabinetry. Although this increased his production costs, he did not ask for additional money for these desirable upgrades. For example, he designed and had fabricated a metal wall support for a kitchen table secured to the wall without legs. We continue to marvel about his designs, attention to detail, durability of his cabinets, and most importantly, functionality of his products. read more

I cannot believe how rude the person was that I spoke with at Pacific Kitchen and Bath. I called for advice on what to do with my exposed range side and the person was not only incapable of listening to my question, but he kept giving me what he thought were answers without even hearing my question. He was clearly annoyed with me. Robert Younan and his team are superb woodworkers and craftsmen. Every custom piece they built for our remodel was beautifully done. Our project was overall mid-sized, comprising a bunch of small tasks (replace carpet with hardwood floor in one room, build wall and door in another, remove wall and paint in another, design and install columns in another). Our project was all wall/cabinets/floors/electric - we actually didn't do anything with kitchen and bath. A good-natured, gentle crew focused on doing good work. As with any such project, it went more smoothly the more I participated actively in the planning and design. No nickel-and-diming on inevitable changes or items not foreseen, very little grumbling even about the long distance from their home base. I ordered a bathroom cabinet vanity from Pacific Kitchen and Bath. The measurements were taken and the finish chosen. The quality of the cabinet and the craftsmanship definitely deserves four stars. The only reason why they would get one star less is because of the communication issue. I asked for additional drawer to placed at the bottom, which to a reasonable person would mean more money while negotiating, but I was not told that until when it was installed. In retrospect I am not sure if the small drawer was worth the extra charge. read more

You always hear horror stories about house remodels that go way past the allotted schedule and budget, or things not turning out the way you expect, but not in this case. "Our home needed a major overhaul. Everyone told me remodeling a home is a nightmare. They said if they promise you completion in 6 months, expect at least one year. They said whatever they estimate the cost, assume an additional 50%. We had never done a major remodel of our home before, and needless to say we was wary of taking up this task. We entertained upgrading to another home, however, we decided we didn't want pay the 100% additional property tax and mortgage; besides, we like our home very much. So, we started talking to our friends and family. We got some references and talked to many designers and general contractors. The candidate who stood out above all of them was Homer Younan of Pacific Kitchen and Bath. He was strongly recommended and we liked him very much from our first meeting. He helped us design the new layout for our home, patiently listening to our needs and wants and incorporating them into the new layout. He made many recommendations and backed each one with good rationale and sound reasoning. After the design was completed, he gave us an estimate of five months to complete the work. He backed it all with a detailed project plan with milestones and deadlines. We were very happy with his professional approach. Homer told us they use top quality material and never compromise workmanship. He promised us the key to our house at the end of May, 2012. We leased an apartment for 5 months and moved out on December, 30th and the work on our house started on Jan, 3rd of 2012. From the beginning, Homer and his team worked tirelessly on the house. We had regular meetings to monitor and critique the ongoing work. In many situations, Homer himself found the work done unacceptable and ordered it redone. The work progressed on schedule and as promised Homer handed us the key to our new home on May, 25th and we moved in on May 26th 4 days ahead of schedule. The project was completed on time and within budget despite the incremental changes and additions we made along the way. If possible I would give it a 10 stars! We had been going back and forth with the thought of remodeling our entire house for at least 2 years. The fear of not being done on time and the cost hunted us for quite some time. Since we were extremely happy with Pacific Kitchen & Bath during prior remodeling (a decade ago) and we had finally decided to go through it one more time, we went back to them again to get the ball rolling. Deep down in our hearts we knew that we could not find anyone like them in town and we were in GREAT hands! Both brothers, Homer and Robert, paid several visits to our house, listened carefully to what we wanted and were open to any ideas/dreams that we had. After several weeks of working through everything and finalizing our thoughts, they were able to come up with a very unique and classical design for our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, closets for each of the bedrooms, closets for our hallways, living room and finally staircase. In addition to those we were also doing some major work, i.e., getting rid of the water-tank heater and replacing it with tankless water heater and moving it from upstairs to garage and also moved our furnace from downstairs to attic. We also got rid of a wall to gain more open space. All of these were carefully studied so we wouldn't have any surprises while doing the work. Of course termite in some area ended up being a surprise. The time given by Homer and Robert was reasonable for all the detailed work and craftsmanship we wanted. We knew there would be some delays because we were expecting some shipments (marble stairs, timeworn marble tiles) from Italy. A professional and detailed contract was given to us. I explained my dream kitchen to Robert and Robert designed it on a paper while listening. His sketch was so beautiful that I could fully visualize the kitchen and I could imagine how beautiful the end result would be. Homer was full of unique ideas every time I had ran out. He would spent so much time visiting us to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. Homer was super nice to the point that he even got involved with our stairs and marble order from Italy. It was hard to order handmade marble stairs and take the risk to have them shipped all the way from Italy, but with the confidence that I had in Homer's precise work and measurements, I agreed and the end result was phenomenal! It took us less than a year to finish the project, within the timeframe that they had promised us, but we had the best time throughout the entire time! Their staff were very polite, on time, nice and hard workers. The entire crew at Pacific Kitchen & Bath treated us like a family! We are very thankful and we will be for years to come with their work. Their craftsmanship is very rare! Their attention to details is extraordinary! The quality of their work is out of this world! I had the good fortune to meet Robert Younan while I was in the middle of my kitchen remodel and Bar addition to my home. I had purchased an expensive slab of granite from Bedrosian's for the Bar. As my fabricator was in the middle of the job, he discovered that he did not have quite enough granite to finish the project. Bedrosian's was out and could no longer procure anymore. They gave me Robert's number as he had also recently purchased the same granite. I called him to ask if he had any I could buy. He was incredibly kind and offered to show me what he had left at his shop and agreed to meet me there that afternoon. He actually had just the right pieces that we needed and gave me an extremely fair deal. After meeting Robert, I wish that I had met him before my project began.
