Our kitchen has been at the top of our remodel list for 2 years now. We were referred to Betty by one of her previous clients. Initially, I just wanted to save money and re-face, however, I was quite surprised how much they were charging. So I explored full remodels and got quotes that were all over the place. We ended up choosing Betty because: 1. We were on a budget and received quotes that were 3-4x her quote 2. They had much better customer service than another similar company that came highly recommended by a few people. I mean, that other company's service was atrocious. I walked out on them. Overall, we are satisfied with the end result but you get what you pay for. This will require a bit more hand holding and double checking of the work versus the more expensive contractors. There are little nuances that we can live with considering what we paid. Throughout the remodel, Betty and her team were very accommodating and made sure our concerns were addressed. But after the kitchen was done, they seemed to get much busier so getting them to come back to fix things was difficult.

We had begun the process of getting estimates for our kitchen remodel about two years ago. My nephew used Urban Interior Design and was pleased with the process and the outcome, so we included them for consideration. Honestly, their quote was very reasonable and Betty was great at keeping us informed of the different stages of the entire process. I did hire an interior designer (about $160) to take a look at our galley kitchen just in case I was missing something. She did recommend that we move our fridge to a different spot, which made all the difference! Anyway, Betty and her crew did a great job of moving everything where it needed to be and the installation of the cabinets and the timing of the project were great! We are very pleased with the outcome. And knowing that we did not spend a fortune made it even better.

We chose cream maple cabinets and upgraded the granite countertop to "santa cecilia" I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome

My fiance and I recently purchased a fixer-upper and needed to remodel the kitchen right away. As first-time homebuyers, we did not know where to even begin. Luckily for us, we had a friend who also remodeled his kitchen and suggested that we contact Betty and Vic at Urban Home Design. Thank goodness we did! We showed up with no exact measurements, (just a brief description of what our kitchen looked like....we were as clueless as they come) but Betty and Vic were extremely patient and helpful. They were able to create a blueprint mapping of our kitchen based on our pretty pathetic hand-drawn diagram and maybe 1 or 2 photos of the area. Even with limited information, Betty was able to create a very accurate estimate! From start to finish, the whole process took about 2 weeks. This included demolition, a fresh coat of paint, beautiful cabinets and granite, and installation of appliances. We chose cream maple cabinets and upgraded the granite countertop to "santa cecilia" I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!!! Their prices are extremely reasonable and budget-friendly, but without sacrificing quality. If you are planning to remodel your kitchen, I would highly recommend Betty and Vic from Urban Home Design. Thank you guys so much for my beautiful new kitchen!

My Wife and I chose Urban Interior Design to remodel our kitchen. The design was great, however, we had problems with the Sub-Contractors from the beginning to the end and it is still ... on going. The Porcelain Tile has not been installed correctly and after 1 month there were about (6) 24x12" tiles that needed to be replaced. The grout started coming out and the tile itself rocked back and forth. The Sub-Contractor came out and replaced the (6) tiles. That was about 4 months ago. There is still grout coming out and additional tiles are rocking back and forth as if the tiles themselves were not "butter-backed" evenly with the adhesive. I e-mailed Urban and I have not heard back from them. My Wife and I are very disappointed and we will have to pay for a full floor replacement to have it done correctly. A proper installation should last 40 years not a few months. We are too leery about using Urban Interior so we will chalk it up to experience I guess, and pay for a new floor. I cannot and will not recommend Urban Interior Design to anyone. The picture does not do justice - this is happening on about 6-8 separate tiles and they rock back and forth and cause a "SNAP" sound when you walk on them. They are installed on the board which is attached to the subfloor. This should not be happening.

The cabinets arrived exactly as described, and the stone fabrication was precise. There were a few minor hiccups with communication during the scheduling phase, but the final result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that didn't break the bank. I needed a kitchen refresh on the right timeline, and KZ Kitchen really delivered. Their stock availability is impressive--I was able to get my cabinets much faster than the 8-12 week lead times I was quoted elsewhere. The plywood construction feels sturdy, and the finish is clean. Shoutout to Vikki Wang for being straight to the point and helping me get my order processed quickly. If you want a 'no-fluff' experience that respects your schedule, this is the place.

It was evident that he was a seasoned cabinet maker, as he was attentive and listened closely to my needs. He offered different options, without pressure and was patient as I made my decisions. The quote from KRD was far more reasonable than others, especially considering the cabinet doors were to be made from high-quality wood by an experienced professional. Paul explained the process, clarifying that he worked very closely with an experienced stone fabricator, plumber and electrician. I was a bit hesitant at first because there were so many moving parts, but was more than impressed with how seamless the communication was amongst them. Both Paul and the stone fabricator, Ishmael, reassured me that they would guide me through each step and answer any questions I might have. It took only one week from demo of my old tile countertop to move forward with installation of several new cabinet boxes, and a new stone countertop. After a few weeks, the last step was install of the new cabinet doors... Which were beautiful. Andrew and Luis worked tirelessly to mount the doors and facing. Their work was impeccable and they were extremely detailed oriented. I was very happy to see that they took their time, rather than rush through each step. They were respectful of me and my home, and I greatly appreciate that. I am extremely happy that I decided to go with Kitchen Reface Depot. I absolutely love my new kitchen. Paul spent time and effort to coordinate with my contractor to make sure everything went as planned. This is the second time I asked for Patty's help to design our kitchen remodel. We like the kitchen…read morePatty designed for us in our previous house: beautiful, functional and simplistic. When we moved to our current home, we encountered several challenges with the original kitchen cabinets and drawers, upon which we further appreciated the seemingly small details that Patty put in that makes your everyday life so much easier: deep enough drawers, convenient back row access, and functional ways of managing blind corners. When we finally decided to remodel our current kitchen, without a doubt, I reached out to Patty for help. She spent enormous time going through the details of what we wanted for the kitchen, brainstorming with me, and then proposed several options for us to consider. She proactively came to our construction site multiple times to ensure the measurements are accurate, and she spent quality time with our construction crew to ensure the installation is perfect. As the project moved along, we had several new ideas and alterations in mind that was beyond our original plan, and every time this happened, Patty always patiently adjusted the design for us. It is really apparent that as much as we did, Patty wanted the kitchen to be as perfect as we have dreamed of, as if it were her own. And it did. We couldn't be more happier with the outcome. Our family have been utterly enjoying all the family cooking and gathering in our new kitchen. We owe this a lot to Patty's superb design skills, practical considerations, and ultimately the strong ownership and professionalism. Thank you again Patty and Signature Kitchen Design!

From the very beginning, Patty listened thoughtfully to our vision, needs, and family's rhythm. I leaned on her expertise and trusted her recommendations completely. I'm glad I did. She took my aesthetics and ideas and skillfully incorporated them into a design that felt deeply "us," while elevating everything in ways I couldn't have achieved on my own. We now have more space, a peninsula where our whole family can eat, all without knocking down walls. This wasn't just a kitchen remodel for us; it was a kitchen that evolved with our family, and one we will enjoy for years to come as we move into the late elementary and junior high seasons of raising our kids. Patty and Kurt put their heart in the heart of the home! Patty said that "it takes a village," and that is exactly what this process felt like: a true village effort, thoughtfully coordinated to bring everything together beautifully. Their attention to detail was outstanding from precise measurements to careful planning, thoughtful execution, and consistent, attentive follow-up with us throughout the project. We always felt cared for, never rushed, and deeply supported in our decisions. Patty and Kurt treated us like partners in the process, not just clients, and their communication was clear, warm, and reassuring from start to finish. Our finished kitchen has exceeded our expectations in both beauty and function, and it brings us joy every single day. Friends, family, and neighbors continue to compliment the transformation and the quality of the design. If we ever need renovation advice in the future, Signature Kitchen & Bath will be our first call. We recommend Patty and Kurt without hesitation to anyone looking for experts in cabinet and kitchen design, genuinely care about their clients, and bring caliber and reliability to a renovation.

All prior interior work in our house had been done by handyman. I really appreciated the communication from our project manager Marc. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. Overall it was a positive experience. I waited several months to post this review until I returned from travel and could see how things were settling after regular use. I'm loving the new bathroom and recommend WISE.

There are so many decisions to make and so many options AND so many stores you can go to...it was hard to know where to start. I'm so, sooo glad I came to Kitchen & Bath Design Center. I'd live to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Gianna who was tirelessly patient with me as I went through the process of finding fixtures, pull handles, faucets, tubs, toilets, etc.. I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted but Gianna was so patient and so kind. She helped me select and order everything for my two bathrooms and kitchen. She was clear and very communicative about when I could expect my items to be ready for pick-up (an extra challenge with the global supply chain issues). When we hit a snag on just one (of the many) bathroom items I ordered, she and Tom jumped through hoops to accommodate me and fix the problem. So while I hope to never have to renovate anything ever again, if renovations ever are in my future again, I would definitely come back here. I cannot recommend these guys enough!
