Friendly people, great food, and a chance at live music or outdoor dining. We stopped in on Sunday where they only serve breakfast until 1:30. No music for us this day. The place had fun artwork on the walls and outdoor tables. Back to the food: I tried the Hippie Hash and a side of French toast. My daughter tried the southern slam, but put the gravy on the side. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. We will definitely keep this place in mind anytime we can make it to Goshen.

Biscuits and gravy with bacon, I had to have a bite before the picture. Oops, sorry.

This is definitely the best breakfast spot in the Milford area. Very reasonably priced, yet very filling. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is some of the best breakfast food I've ever had.

Amazing food & owners! Worth the drive! I love that it's in an old school house, very 70s vibe with the decor! Loved it!

Stumbled across this while home for the holidays. It was such a cute surprise! Growing up in the…read morearea there were not a lot of food options outside of fast food. The space is clean, bright, lots of seating and the staff were so kind! The menu has so many great options, we opted for brunch, but I'm looking forward to a future visit to try more! Food was fresh and high quality. Highly recommend.

Was visiting friends in Loveland. They had family members that had eaten at Weiss Baking Company…read moreand raved about it. I saw the overall Yelp rating and was excited to try it out. While there were a few negatives that kept me from giving five stars. The negatives were minimal, but there were enough of them to keep my review to four stars. The place is huge and I can see how it would be a great event venue. Late morning on a Tuesday the place was nearly empty. Because it's one big room, it seemed odd, but it didn't keep us from enjoying a wonderful meal. Our server was pleasant and took excellent care of us. I ordered the Western Omelet - three eggs, ham, five cheese blend, bell peppers, white onions, chipotle crema, salsa. It was served with Haus Potato Casserole - shredded potatoes, creamy five cheese sauce, baked in a crispy cornflake crust. I ordered goetta on the side. The omelet was delicious. The eggs were done perfectly and it was chock full of fillings. The crema and salsa elevated the flavor well above a typical omelet. The potato casserole was good, but a little heavy. The goetta was a huge disappointment. My friend asked how I liked it and I said it tasted like paper. It didn't have the mouthfeel I expect from goetta. The taste and feel of cooked goetta should feature the grains. My goetta was chewy vs. falling apart in my mouth. It tasted like it might have been sitting around a while between being fried and being delivered to the table. One friend had Smoke Salmon - dill smoked salmon, boursin & cream cheese, cucumber, capers, everything bagel. She said it was delicious. My other friend had Stuffed French Toast - ciabatta stuffed with vanilla bean mascarpone, served with pure maple syrup & whipped cream. He said it was outstanding and he raved about the real maple syrup. On the way out I found the candles and had to buy two of them. I didn't notice until I got home, but one of them had already been lit! It was not burned for a long time, but the wick was burnt. I have to admit I felt a little violated. Oh... the silverware. Years ago we had a set with rounded handles that 1) were very hard to hold while eating and 2) would literally roll off the plate. The silverware at Weiss was very reminiscent of that horrible set we used to own. They didn't fall off the plate, but they were extremely difficult to use. Trying to switch the fork from using it to cut the food to picking it up and bringing it to my mouth required two hands. It was awkward. Even with less than delicious goetta, awkward silverware and an already used candle I am still comfortable giving Weiss Baking Company four stars. I would definitely come back.

What the village lacks is actual sit down food spots. (I previously worked at the Hammel House with Mrs. Bowman- we miss them!) The Butter Churn is filling a void and doing a good job at it. The menu is nice, soups- sandwiches & salad options. Our niece really enjoys their potato chips (I think they make them in house, I could be wrong.) The decor is eclectic, it feels like they have small collections and perhaps bought things locally from the antique shops. The back room had a Christmas Santa collection and it was expansive. Coca-Cola, clowns, vintage troll dolls- it all just feels like visiting someone's quirky aunts home. It feels homey and nice. The last time we went we had about twenty mins before closing and were popping in for ice cream. We were told...and reminded multiple times that they wanted to be out of the building at exactly closing time. We said we understood (I mean yes- I also love being off work on time) but the constant reminders felt like they were shoving us out the door when we were just placing ice cream orders and trying to pay. It might have just been a stressful night. We did pop in the next day and I asked about their coffee selection. The response we got was a bit dismissive and they told us "we have black coffee, we don't do any of that fancy stuff. Go down the street to Taylor's." I was going to order the regular coffee but it was off-putting so we did as they recommended and left. I know I don't *look* like a local- for obvious reasons. I don't want to believe this is why we received weird service compared to other patrons. Regardless, we have enjoyed the actual food and ice cream here. Our family likes it and visits weekly- I will just trust them that they get good consistent service every time.
