We recently went there to celebrate my sisters bday. Unfortunately the service was awful. From the beginning, the servers were rude. I'm assuming because we got there at 1pm and they close at 2pm, however having worked in the restaurant industry previously, we should have still been received with good service. FYI, super not kid friendly - no kid menu. I asked for a chocolate milk for my daughter and they brought it in a glass cup with no straw. The server(s) did not check in on us during the entire time we were eating. We had ordered mimosas and would've appreciated getting asked if we would've liked another one. The late hour and it being a weekday was the closest thing to a guarantee we might grab a table since this very popular restaurant is packed - especially for weekend brunch. Yelp reviews tempted me with a pistachio latte which I ordered but at the last minute I swerved from the popular lobster scramble to a New England lobster roll ($31). The lobster roll was decadent and delicious however I think its flavor was dampened by a touch too much mayonnaise. The lobster was very fresh and the roll was legit, grilled and buttered. A great little spot to grab brunch! Came with a group of 4 on a Sunday morning, there was quite a line formed outside but we didn't wait more than 15 minutes. Overall food was pretty average -- probably ranks right in the middle of all the brunch spots I've been to. The coastal benedict, while the more boujee option in terms of benedicts offered, didn't live up to my expectations. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bread they used as the base -- it was one slice and pretty difficult to cut through. Home potatoes were solid though and I really enjoyed those.
